"I love the decoration details in the hotel. Although the overall vibe is modern, there are traditional patterns everywhere. We were upgraded to a bigger room which is spacious with big windows looking over Snow Mountain Square. Some of the facilities are of good brand names such as Kohler and Dyson.
They offer welcome snacks which include popcorn, soda, potato chips, lollipops, Snickers, fruits… and also late night snacks that are more like a full meal (noodles, dumplings, or soup) - although these are only available after 9pm. The room came with 4 complimentary bottles of water. We could not go hungry there lol. The receptionist is friendly.
The bus from the hotel to the airport is 35 RMB per person (to compare, a Didi ride will cost you around 100-120 RMB). It is overall a good place to rest after Yading and before flying out.
Breakfast is quite simple (many options but hard to choose a good one). The butter tea was good though. In our room, the bottle that says “liquid soap” next to the sink seems to be hand lotion."

"I decided to stay here based on the good reviews online, but since I haven't stayed at other hotels, I can't say how good the value is. I've stayed at quite a few places on my solo trip, and this one was just average, aside from the hospitality. It's a bit out of town, but quieter. I ordered fruit online, but the store didn't offer any information. When I asked, they said they didn't have seasonal fruit and offered a souvenir instead. That was a far-fetched answer, as fruit shops are plentiful. I returned the souvenir. The bathroom was broken, the tiles were chipped, and the hair dryer was old-fashioned. Most importantly, the lighting was too dim."

"This hotel has a peaceful atmosphere, in town Daocheng. Not far from the dance square. You can walk 25-30 minutes from bus station during daytime (at night recommend Taxi). The hotel is only one block near the river and you can walk to the White Tower.
The hotel has a friendly staff, her name Tan Hongli (please use translator app to communicate in Chinese). She can assist you and always care for all client inhouse.
The room is large with tea reception area at window. Warm and comfort bed, hot shower is immediate when need.
I would recommend friends to this hotel, and repeat."

"My friends and I were driving through western Sichuan and stayed at this hotel near the bridge leading into Daocheng. The room had underfloor heating, which made it very warm. The hotel was clean and hygienic. Since the altitude here is relatively low, we didn't have to worry about oxygen deficiency at all. The hotel also provided oxygen machines. The front desk service was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again next time I come to western Sichuan."

We arrived quite late after traveling from another city, and the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Suite from a King Room for free. Wow, we were so lucky! The room was clean and tidy, and it was soundproof, so we slept wonderfully. 👍
The service was exceptional. All guests staying at the hotel can get free self-heating rice meals made by the hotel's own chef. We took ours with us on the road to Daocheng the next day, and it was so much better than instant food – warm and thoughtful! 🫶

"A very nice guesthouse, very clean, with two rows of shelves for storing a lot of things. The bathroom is a bit small, but clean. Since I went to Rubuchaka for hot springs, I didn't shower at the guesthouse. There's a cute little courtyard, which is also very clean. The second floor leads directly to the Buer Cafe, which is very convenient. Just a short walk to the intersection, there's a large supermarket and many restaurants, making it extremely convenient."

marucuteThis might be the most unforgettable stay I've had all year, and it's definitely a place I'd want to come back to every year. In a nutshell: if you're visiting Yading, stay here! (I only remembered to take photos after I'd checked out.)
First, the location is excellent, and I slept wonderfully. When visiting Yading, you typically choose between Shangri-La Town or Yading Village. However, the town is too noisy and commercialized, while Yading Village is too high up and requires taking a scenic bus with your luggage. This place is just a ten-minute drive from the town but nestled in the mountains at a lower elevation, so I slept incredibly well!
Second, the hospitality and cultural charm from the ******* family are truly exceptional! It felt like staying in the beautiful home of a ******* family as a guest. This is a multi-generational household, and it’s been years since I've experienced a true homestay like this. The host, young Mr. Luorong, is warm and welcoming, and he personally designed the house with great taste. Grandpa Danzeng would come out to greet us every evening when we parked, chatting with us, telling us about his family, and offering us plums from their yard. There's also Coke, a playful golden retriever who loves attention... It truly feels like a hidden paradise, like making new ******* friends.

Hygiene: The blankets smell fresh, and the room is very clean.

The B&B is right next to the scenic spot. It is very convenient to get to the ticket gate in 10 minutes. The proprietress is very welcoming and provides free raincoats and hiking poles. The room facilities are 🉑️ and hygienic and clean. There is a free parking lot at the door of the room, and it is very convenient to eat. It is a very cost-effective B&B.

Personally, I think the CP value is very high 😬, you can see the beautiful scenery, and the bed is super comfortable. As long as you don’t care about bathing, you will really feel grateful to live here 😬. At night, because there is not much light pollution, you can see the Big Dipper from the window of the room. The next day, there are buses distributed at 7:30 in the scenic area, so you can go early to buy battery tickets. If you have no weight problem, you can also buy horse racing tickets, which is very convenient. Climbing to Five Color Lake may have exceeded the physical limit. My husband developed hyperresponsiveness and checked out one day early. The boss may have thought that we were not satisfied with the accommodation, so he quickly came to the room to see us. He learned that it was because we were feeling uncomfortable, and he enthusiastically helped us. We contacted the passenger bus down the mountain and helped us carry our luggage. If we have another chance to go there next time, we will still choose this hotel. A little further down the road from this hotel is a store. If you need hiking poles, you can buy them here, as well as gloves and snacks. Overall, it's a good experience.

Guest UserThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street.
Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops.
The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet.
The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird.
He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。
Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture.
The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny.
I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Guest UserValue for money. Exceptional hospitality. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was my second stayed after moved out from Yading Village. They greeting me with big smile. The couples also very helpful in getting me the transportation into the national park as well as to the airport. I had a very pleasant stayed towards entire journey and this place is highly recommended. Sometimes is the people who makes you remember the most.

This is an exceptionally good hotel! So good that even a lazy person like me who rarely writes reviews has to give it a thumbs up. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and this is truly the most comfortable and cost-effective one I've ever stayed in. The location isn't particularly hard to find, and the decor is excellent—very new and clean. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are soft. It's quiet in a residential area, with minimal noise at night. If the entire building were converted into a hotel, it wouldn't be inferior to many five-star hotels. There's a convenience store downstairs, making shopping very convenient. The hotel owner's service attitude is also excellent (part of this review is because of his good attitude; otherwise, I'm too lazy to bother with follow-up reviews). Finally, here are a few photos taken in Yading. In short, it's an exceptionally good hotel, and a very enjoyable trip.

The best choice for a trip to Daocheng Yading is undoubtedly the Crowne Plaza Yading Risong Gongbu Hotel. Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains.
Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map.
The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region.

Guest UserI was there twice, before and after visiting yading reserve. The first time was nice, the room and shower weren't the best but ok, and the lady at the reception was super helpful with all my questions.
On the second time, there was a problem with the water which I only found out after I entered the shower. A small sign could have helped. Eventually I got the water for the shower but later I wanted to go for the toilet and couldn't flush since there were no water, and there was nobody at the reception to ask for help.
They changed my bed and the wall near the new bed was filty, and somewhen after midnight they entered the room while I was asleep, turned the light on and started changing the covers for a new girl in the room. I'm sorry but that should have happened during daylight, not at this time, or they should have just given her one of the other vacant beds in the room.
