"An unexpectedly wonderful experience. I truly felt a sense of warmth during my trip.
Originally, I just booked this hotel for an early flight the next day. I never imagined that every staff member would work so diligently to ensure guests' comfort. Regardless of whether it was their direct responsibility, they genuinely went out of their way to think of the guests. Leaving Daocheng in the cold winter, my heart was filled with the warmth of human kindness.
On the first floor, there's a professional, complimentary oxygen bar, and the in-room oxygen diffusion system can reduce the effective altitude by over a thousand meters, allowing for a great night's sleep. The underfloor heating was powerful, and the room didn't feel too dry. Anyone who's experienced high altitudes will understand how valuable this is.
The hotel prepared an abundance of fruits and snacks to combat altitude sickness, and Rhodiola oral solutions were placed at the elevator entrances for guests to take. They even offered late-night desserts, and the noodles and fresh vegetable juice at breakfast were absolutely outstanding. I'd long grown indifferent to breakfast at international five-star chain hotels, but I was genuinely impressed by the breakfast at this county town hotel.
I also want to give a special thanks to the kind Brother Dorje. He truly wore many hats; from the moment we arrived, he was busy helping and hosting us, and the next day, we discovered he was also our airport shuttle driver. While his Mandarin accent wasn't always easy to understand, we particularly enjoyed chatting with him and listening to his stories about the ******* areas. Isn't finding these bright spots along the way the very meaning of travel?"

"The hotel I booked is in the center of Shangri-La town, and it was pretty quiet at night. The altitude here is relatively low, only about 2900 meters. We drove from Xinduqiao, and the altitude along the way was a bit high. One of us experienced altitude sickness and felt very uncomfortable at night. We called the owner, and upon hearing about our altitude sickness, he drove us to the local clinic in the middle of the night. After getting oxygen at the hospital, we felt much better. We are incredibly grateful to the owner! The service was truly exceptional. I will definitely recommend your hotel to any friends visiting in the future."

From sheets and duvet covers to towels, everything was neatly folded. The housekeeping staff were very thorough and greeted us politely. ❤️ The front desk service was also warm and courteous. The staff were attentive, meticulous, and able to handle issues promptly and efficiently. Because my daughter sprained her ankle in the Daotian Yading Scenic Area, we decided to stay an extra day. During our stay, the hotel staff were very caring and concerned. The security guard in the parking lot was also very helpful, proactively asking about our hospital. "For the price, the hotel is really value for money. The service is excellent and the hotel staff will promptly attend to your request. The lady boss even took the trouble to notify us when she noticed that our car lights were left on when parked. The bath is also good with rain shower and strong water pressure. There is also free laundry service and the staff provided extra hangers for drying the washed clothes. The bed heater is warm enough for a good night's sleep in cold weather. Breakfast provided is decent and hot. You can also buy oxygen at a super cheap price from the front desk. Besides the room decor being a bit dated and some maintenance are needed, this hotel provides everything you need at a really affordable price."

"Absolute king of value for money! The environment and facilities are very new and great, breakfast is quite rich, and most importantly, the service is excellent! A special shout-out to the young ladies at the front desk: the one in the black down jacket with highlights and the one in the long white down jacket – beautiful and kind-hearted ❤. After check-in, they even came to our room specifically to bring us an oxygen concentrator, taught us how to use the TV, and gave us tips on how to explore the Daocheng scenic area 👍.
The hotel room is very new, the bed is large, and it's very clean.
There were many other thoughtful details that impressed me:
- The oxygen concentrator is high-end and allows two people to use it simultaneously.
- They even have yak milk for breakfast, which is very unique 👍.
- Rhodiola is available at all times, and you can borrow trekking poles.
- The cups, towels, and bath towels in the room are all disposable. As a clean freak, I was very satisfied.
- There's a microwave in the hotel lobby for reheating takeout.
- The pillows are memory foam! Great for people with neck issues.
In summary, you can't go wrong with this hotel. For around 250, to get these conditions, the value for money is off the charts!"

"Facilities: This is a very new B&B with a very spacious room. The owner is very attentive and uses many brand-name appliances, which was a great experience.
Cleanliness: Very clean, and a very comfortable stay.
Environment: Great location, convenient for dining, shopping, and other necessities.
Service: Breakfast was delivered to the door, and the hostess even took the trouble to bring some extra treats, which was very accommodating.
Welcome fruit: Good quality.

"I was originally staying at the Four Seasons Hotel next door, which hadn't been renovated yet. Seeing that this hotel was right next door, I thought I'd just make do with it for one night, but I was pleasantly surprised after moving in. First of all, the room was spacious, the bed was big, and all kinds of disposable supplies were available. They even put a foot soaking bucket in the bathroom according to local conditions, and the towels and bath towels were all disposable. It was also the first time I saw a hotel owner remove the sheets and quilt covers himself, so there was no need to worry about hygiene. In addition, they have a large parking lot with an elevator, and their service is more humane and flexible, which is a big advantage compared to chain hotels. Especially the suggestions for visiting scenic spots are very practical!"

"First of all I would like to thank the 2 young women on daytime reception for their help, particularly in translating- I speak neither Chinese nor *******.
When I stayed, this hotel had huge clientele, - even though the National Holidays were over- many coaches and minibuses. With so many people there for one reason - walking in the Yading National Park - breakfast had a base-camp feel, as people rushed to get to the mountain or the airport.
The situation of the hotel is good just outside Shangri-la Town (and right next door to the hospital)
It is convenient to get to the scenic area whilst staying at a relatively low height...altitude sickness being a risk at these heights. The room was cosy and warm."

Breakfast was plentiful, and after 7:00 a.m., it was a ten-minute walk to the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. I especially want to mention the beautiful, tall ******* woman at the front desk. From the moment we received our inquiry, she was incredibly attentive. That evening, she served us authentic and delicious yak hot pot! Evening music was performed by ******* women in the lobby, making us feel right at home. Overall, our stay in Yading was a wonderful experience, a homely feeling, and I'd definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserThis stay was great! The front desk staff was so enthusiastic, efficient at checking in, smiling throughout the whole process, and actively shared tips for playing. They also carefully wrote down the needs of the elderly who were traveling with them, which was very heartwarming. The sanitation of the guest rooms was in place, and the overall cleanliness was very comfortable. The room equipment was easy to use, and the humidifier was very considerate, which solved the problem of dryness. The transportation was very convenient, and the hotel parking lot was safe and convenient. When we went to the scenic spot, the hotel arranged a special person to take us to the visitor center, and picked us up on time in the evening. We didn't have to worry about transportation throughout the whole process, which was very worry-free. The overall stay was comfortable and safe, and it must be praised with five stars!

GGuest UserI am YS solo traveler but have lived in China for six months each year for 12 years. My fourth time to Yading to visit the fabulous park. I stayed at the Super 8 one night before going into the park. Then I stayed in the small yarding Village inside the park for one night and then return to the Super 8 again for the third night before departing yarding. The hotel was just great. Walk in town and main street with many restaurants in 2 minutes. Lots of feee managed parking behind the hotel. The value for money is quite good. I paid 183 RMB. my room was large very clean comfortable bed and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip back to Yadin.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse has a lot of ******* character, and the service is very warm and welcoming. The hallway smells really nice, and the location is great too. There's a pretty famous restaurant not far downstairs. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small; we ended up parking on the street.

GGuest UserWhat a gem! A hotel that offers both ”photo freedom” and ”charging freedom”! The owner, like a patriarch, puts every guest's needs first. The hotel is easy to find and parking is convenient. The oxygen concentrator and humidifier in the room are a huge bonus for a refined trip, keeping your skin and body in optimal condition. The biggest surprise is that, as an electric scooter owner, I no longer need to search the city for charging stations—the hotel has its own! Just plug it in when you get back, and you're fully charged for the next day—pure bliss! Every moment here is full of surprises; highly recommended!
