From sheets and duvet covers to towels, everything was neatly folded. The housekeeping staff were very thorough and greeted us politely. ❤️ The front desk service was also warm and courteous. The staff were attentive, meticulous, and able to handle issues promptly and efficiently. Because my daughter sprained her ankle in the Daotian Yading Scenic Area, we decided to stay an extra day. During our stay, the hotel staff were very caring and concerned. The security guard in the parking lot was also very helpful, proactively asking about our hospital. "Absolute king of value for money! The environment and facilities are very new and great, breakfast is quite rich, and most importantly, the service is excellent! A special shout-out to the young ladies at the front desk: the one in the black down jacket with highlights and the one in the long white down jacket – beautiful and kind-hearted ❤. After check-in, they even came to our room specifically to bring us an oxygen concentrator, taught us how to use the TV, and gave us tips on how to explore the Daocheng scenic area 👍. The hotel room is very new, the bed is large, and it's very clean. There were many other thoughtful details that impressed me: - The oxygen concentrator is high-end and allows two people to use it simultaneously. - They even have yak milk for breakfast, which is very unique 👍. - Rhodiola is available at all times, and you can borrow trekking poles. - The cups, towels, and bath towels in the room are all disposable. As a clean freak, I was very satisfied. - There's a microwave in the hotel lobby for reheating takeout. - The pillows are memory foam! Great for people with neck issues. In summary, you can't go wrong with this hotel. For around 250, to get these conditions, the value for money is off the charts!"

Although the hotel is located in a busy city, it was very quiet. I was very satisfied. A more extensive breakfast would have been even better."

"The host was incredibly kind. Even though I was staying in a hostel, the bathroom was surprisingly clean – the owner's family uses it too, which really speaks volumes about its upkeep! On my first day, the owner even let me try on local traditional clothing for free, which was a lovely touch. Their resident cat was also incredibly cute and fluffy! When I caught a cold on the second day, the owner generously provided me with medicine and hot water without hesitation."

"Before booking a hotel, I always check reviews. Many guests praised the owner of Tule Boutique Hotel for being kind and hospitable. During the off-season, when many hotels and shops were closed, this hotel stood out with its surrounding affordable delicacies and high cost-performance ratio, so I decided to book it. Upon arrival, it exceeded our expectations – the rooms were clean, spacious, and hygienic. The area was packed with great food options, and attractions were easily accessible. The hotel also provided parking. When departing, heavy snow led to traffic controls and road closures at Karazi Mountain and Zheduo Mountain, forcing us to delay our exit from Daocheng Yading. With many stranded tourists causing a surge in room demand, the owner, acting as an ethical businessperson, refused to raise prices and instead offered invaluable route advice. We sincerely appreciate her help. Following her suggestion to stay an extra day, we eventually left smoothly. During the delay, she even lent us the kitchen to cook. Thankfully, we trusted the online recommendations and chose Tule Hotel. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shangri-La. If I were to rate it, I’d give it A+++++! Once again, heartfelt thanks to the owner!"

Outstanding

NNM.KALocated in Xianggelila Zhen (formerly known as Riwa), the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Yading Tourism Passenger Transport Terminal. If you're arriving by long-haul bus, make sure to buy tickets to Yading, not Daocheng. The Daocheng bus station is about 2 hours away, and you would need to take a shared taxi or another bus to get here. Also, it's best to buy your return ticket in Chengdu, as purchasing tickets at the Yading station can be a bit of a hassle. As a Muslim traveller, I found two halal restaurants within a 3-minute walking distance, located behind the hotel. To get to the Yading scenic area, you can easily catch a yellow minibus for 10 yuan one way, or ask the hotel owner to help arrange transport. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner and his daughters were very kind and helpful, even though they didn’t speak English. Their warm gestures truly touched my heart. The only downside is that there is no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommended for solo female travellers. If I ever come back to this area, I would definitely choose the same hotel again.

OOsmanthus latteIt’s a decent place to stay. However, it gets cold during the night. I don’t see a heater in the room, except the one in the bathroom. The exhaust fan that also can work as a heater. Maybe that’s the one? There is convenient store nearby and also plenty of restaurant. It takes around 10 minutes by car to reach yading scenic park. At the time during my visit, there is a construction going on nearby. It gets pretty noisy during the day, since the homestay located near the intersection. All the trucks and cars kept honking each other. Other than that, it’s an okay stay.

PPapingI really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is in a perfect location — just a 1-minute walk from the bus station, which makes traveling super easy. There are many restaurants and local food stalls around, so it’s very convenient. The Yading National Park is only about 15 minutes away. Great place to stay before or after visiting the park!

GGuest UserAt first, I didn't know what was needed within the scenic area and had to take a bus to get in at 4:30 that day. The hotel extended my stay by one day. Dinner was loose stewed chicken and mapo tofu. I didn't eat much because of severe altitude sickness. As a gourmet, I give the chicken soup a 90. The chicken was suitable, but the knife skills could be improved. The mapo tofu didn't use the traditional Sichuan tofu, so the taste was slightly worse, but it was completely acceptable. I had severe altitude sickness at night, and there was diffuse oxygen in the room, but I still couldn't sleep all night. It was a great irony for me, who has traveled around China and cycled the 219 road to Tibet several times. The male boss spoke good foreign languages, and the female boss was gentle and beautiful. GGuest UserThis guesthouse has a lot of ******* character, and the service is very warm and welcoming. The hallway smells really nice, and the location is great too. There's a pretty famous restaurant not far downstairs. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small; we ended up parking on the street.

The pillowcase must have been used for n years, and there is also a rain shower with AI human body recognition. It lowers its head when it sees people. It's the first time I slept on a plywood bed in a brand hotel. At breakfast, a big brother next to me ate a tea egg and made a Godzilla sound, which scared me to look down to see if my tea egg is also a five-year egg.

GGuest UserThis hotel was just what we needed to relax for a night, before going on with our trip. Nothing was extraordinary (think your regular hotel room), but nothing went wrong either. The room was very spacious, quite clean, warmer than all other rooms we had in the area during this winter season. The beds were comfortable and include bed warmers. Being one of the cheapest options in town, we were very satisfied with our experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel owner provided very good service and took the initiative to change us to a larger room. The room was clean and comfortable. It is relatively close to the scenic spot. I booked a room at noon and arrived at Sangdui Town in the evening. It was just right for me to rest and adjust for a night, and then I set out for the scenic spot directly the next morning. Overall, the price/performance ratio is very high. Highly recommended!
