"Fantastic location indeed.....walk 15mins to the right and you'll arrive at Hubin & Westlake. Come out from entrance to the right then right again and you'll reach Wulin market in less than 3 mins. Hotel's breakfast is excellent with a very good mixture of eastern and western food in abundance.....fresh fruit juices with an assortment of desserts are readily available too. Special shoutout to 'Sister Hua' for her very attentive detail inl housekeeping, keep up the good work. Would love to stay here for my next trip, highly recommended!"

"We stayed at Holiday Inn Express, and overall we have no complaints about the hotel itself. The property is very well located — only about six minutes by car from the airport. This was exactly why we chose it: we were arriving very late, close to 1 a.m., and we were traveling with our 4-year-old child. We needed a hotel as close as possible so we could get some sleep immediately after landing. Another important criterion for us was a good breakfast, to wake up, eat, and continue our trip. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and quality linens. Everything necessary was provided, and the bathroom facilities were modern and clean. However, there is one major issue that future guests should be aware of. If you arrive late at night and choose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, please take a taxi and do not rely on the hotel’s pickup service. This was our biggest disappointment. We spent almost an hour trying to follow the directions sent to us via WeChat, but the staff were not able to provide clear instructions. They also never mentioned that the shuttle runs only once per hour at fixed times. For example, the shuttle time was 1:08 a.m., and we landed at 12:30 a.m. If the staff had simply told us that we could not make it, we would have taken a taxi immediately. Instead, we received a message at 1:07 saying “please hurry,” even though we had been walking in the completely wrong direction due to unclear guidance. Traveling with a child, we lost more than an hour and then had to wait outside even longer. Breakfast was another point of confusion. At check-in, we were told breakfast was served until 10:30. We arrived at 10:35, only to learn it actually ends at 10:00. Thankfully, the restaurant staff were extremely kind and prepared breakfast especially for us — eggs, salad, bread, yogurt for the child, and fruit. This human touch truly made a difference, and we appreciate their warm service. Overall, this is a good hotel with an excellent location, but the information about the shuttle service and breakfast times should be communicated more clearly. "Honestly, the Hyatt Place left me a bit speechless. The sheets and duvet covers were incredibly damp. In the middle of the night, a male staff member came to change them for my mom and me, saying all the female staff had left and blaming the weather! After they were changed, it was much better and dry. The weather isn't to blame for that! And now, there aren't even electronic scales in the room anymore – you can really see the cost-cutting measures."

"Really good hotel. Located in Mall building, occupied only some floors. Localisation is really great, very close to the Western Lake. Next to a lot of shops and restaurants, they are even in the same building (for example Haidilao on the same floor). Rooms - I have a bigger one with the city view, so it was very comfortable. There is a laundry room, mini gym and big patio with nice view (so no need to go downstairs to smoke). Breakfest - acceptable. The only one bad thing is terrible coffee on the breakfest."

"The owner is incredibly nice! They called in advance to ask if I needed help carrying my luggage upstairs, and I said yes. The guesthouse's location is excellent, right between West Lake Scenic Area and Lingyin Temple. They even offer a free electric scooter for guests. The only downside is that in winter, the scooter doesn't have handlebar muffs, so my hands were numb from the cold after riding it at night. I really liked the outdoor lounging area for guests. There were even sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds, and coffee on the table – quite a tasty selection! The guesthouse slippers were surprisingly thick and comfy, but the toiletries were pretty standard. The toilet seat wasn't heated, which was a bit chilly 🥶. On the bright side, the air conditioning heated the room very well – nice, nice!"

"The hygiene was excellent, and all the facilities were brand new. The TV supported screen mirroring, making it highly smart, which I loved. I also liked the multiple mirrors in the room—I think there were three. There was a great variety of complimentary drinks (including sparkling water, mineral water, and AD milk) and snacks, all refillable. They even offered late-night snacks. The service attitude was fantastic; the front desk staff personally guided me to my room. When I needed to stay a bit longer past check-out due to an unexpected delay, they kindly accommodated me. I was so rushed when I left that I forgot something, but they called me, helped ship it back, and even included a small nail clipper. A huge thank you to the staff; I was incredibly touched. Service attitude gets full marks—it was a truly pleasant experience!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, just two to three kilometers from West Lake Scenic Area. Specifically, it's on a high floor of Hangzhou Jinhe Building. We booked a 22nd-floor room with a great view, and it even had a small swing. The room facilities are quite new. The front desk is on the first floor of Jinhe Building, and the customer service is very good. Housekeeping was also prompt."

"The service was excellent, and check-in at the front desk was very quick. The staff were all very nice. The room offered a beautiful distant view of West Lake. It's about a 10-yuan taxi ride to the West Lake scenic area. Breakfast was very rich, with both Chinese and Western options. They even offer breakfast bags if you're in a rush, which is a thoughtful touch! The manager I met during check-out was also great. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time."
