BLYLUpon arrival at Kailinan Station, the PIC of Leili sent someone to pick us up. She even recommended us places to go and to dine in Kaili during the short drive. To our surprise, all the staff of Leili are female! Wow, it was all girls power and we were so impressed of how well they have managed the homestay! The homestay is artistically designed and decorated, the ambience is so cozy, the rooms are so new and clean. Not forgetting, the staff are so enthusiastic and kind to share us some information about Kaili. The homestay even provided us with welcome afternoon tea sets which serves their local tea and midnight dessert (green bean soup). We just feel so home staying in Leili. =)

This homestay in Xiasi Ancient Town was probably my favorite place we stayed during our trip.
The property has a charming farmhouse feel blended with modern comfort. Inside, the design is clean and updated, while outside you step into a rustic, peaceful setting with plants growing around the courtyard and a small pond that makes it feel like you’re staying on a quiet farm.
The beds were extremely comfortable, the room temperature was perfect, and the views were lovely and calming. The owner was very kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed delicious rice noodles for breakfast.
Xiasi Ancient Town itself is super cute and worth exploring, and staying here made the experience even more special.
I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy, and memorable stay.

Guest UserThe hotel is located next to Kaili Wanda Plaza, offering convenient access to the street. Driving is possible, and free parking is available. Taxis and buses are also available right outside the hotel. The distance to the Grand Cross is 1.5 kilometers, which is a reasonable distance. The rooms are well-equipped, including a laundry basket with laundry service. Hot water is available quickly, and the air conditioning is warm. In the evening, the waiter brings fruit to the room, and you can order milk and Tremella soup, also free of charge. The hotel provides disposable toilet seats, makeup remover wipes, and face towels. Breakfast includes freshly ground soy milk with a rich bean flavor, and the beef noodle soup in sour soup is delicious!
The staff enthusiastically recommends tourist attractions. The village T show, featuring a local folk costume show, was a great experience!

Having stayed in so many hotels, this one really impressed me! The new Chinese style layout design is warm and elegant, which is my favorite decoration style. The room is clean and tidy, spotless, with great attention to detail, and there is no dust even in the corners. The fully intelligent facilities are really convenient. Robots deliver water, laundry reservations are made in the laundry room, and the equipment in the gym is also very new, which meets my daily exercise needs. The best thing is that the selection of toothbrushes and bath products is the most comfortable I have ever used in all the hotels I have stayed in. It seems that the boss is a person who pays great attention to the quality of life. The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station and the city center, which is perfect for people like me who travel frequently for business.

The Qiandong Yiju Hotel is great! It's truly excellent value for money. The service is superb—the friendly smiles and thoughtful consideration for us, even reminding us of breakfast times and seating areas. We loved feeling at home!
The cleanliness was also perfect; the room had a light, pleasant fragrance, which we loved.
The facilities were complete, with generous amounts of toothpaste and a toilet seat cover—essential for winter. Even better, the hot water came quickly and in large quantities, and the temperature remained consistent. Such attention to detail! I was worried the blankets might be thin and cold, but they were surprisingly warm, perhaps due to the Gree air conditioner. The environment was also lovely; the sunlight streaming through the window was so comforting! It's very close to the high-speed rail station, about a 7-8 minute walk—amazing! I'll definitely come back next time! [sun][sun][sun]

The hotel is located in the core area of the attraction, there is no separate parking lot, parking for 20 yuan a day. The lakeside room is not big, the carpet is dirty, and there is garbage left by the front customers. The quilt cover is not clean. In particular, there are a lot of mosquitoes and no screen windows. The kind of small flying insect that should not bite people. The front desk is very warm and the service is OK. Breakfast is rice noodles + eggs + boiled corn + sweet potatoes + beverage orange juice. For non-weekend room rates around 440, the price is not high.

The room was spacious, clean, and bright. It's also conveniently located very close to the high-speed train station. A huge plus is the abundance of dining options right nearby. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Amazing hotel in a great location in Kaili center. Close to lots of food and bar options, as well as shopping. Also close to bus station.
This hotel is very comfortable to stay at as a foreigner, they have many aspects similar to Western hotels that aren’t commonly found in China, like offering free ice, coffee, softer beds, etc. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are meticulously clean and have very modern amenities like automatic lights and a smart toilet. There’s also a balcony which is great to relax on.
My only advice is that I had a bit of trouble finding the location, it would be good if they could give instructions on how to find the hotel.

Guest UserServices are exceptional with owner answering my question in a minute. Lovely historical town with neat river bridges that are eliminated at night. You have to pay an entrance fee into Scenic area so if you are staying several days, make sure get multiple day ticket . Location is great if you like staying in Historical area and don’t mind noise form cheerful crowds. The light show at the historical area are beautiful but they come with the loud music and fireworks that shake the room until 10:30 at night. Location is 30-40 minutes away from Kaili so if you are exploring Minority Villages you have to take multiple busses (first to Kaili and second to village)

Stay end Nov 2025 - solo traveler. The hostal is located in a touristic area with shops and restaurants, about 20 mins taxi drive from Kaili south high speed train station. Nice area. The property consist of a shop and upstairs dorm & guestrooms. Facilities: a common kitchen, bathroom w/squat toilet / shower and a common space aren’t new but good enough. Beds in dorm are hard wooden boards (a thick topper would be good..) lack a curtain & personal light but do have an individual socket and shelf.
Consider staying here in winter; there is no heating in the common space/kitchen/bathroom. Doubt if they turn on the airco heating at dorm during day & evening. When I stayed here, it was 1 day very cold and they allowed the airco in dorm to be turned on only at 21:00.
Is this a good place for foreigners to stay during other seasons? - I would say ‘yes’ but than again: I speak and understand some Chinese language. Kaili and surroundings (Miao villages) are lovely to visit but might be hard to get to as a foreigner without Chinese language knowledge. Unless you like a challenge and have enough money to pay for individual Didi taxis instead of shared ones.
The shop girls did their best, they helped me arrange a taxi to Langde, but they are not trained as receptionists so don't expect too much. I doubt if they speak English at all.
