The 'Kali Lao Cai Supper [Double Meal]' was delicious and authentic. The breakfast was very unique and catered perfectly to both adults and children, with a great variety of options. They even made badges at the hotel, each family member creating their own design – a wonderful way to remember their trip to Kaili! Upon check-out, they even received some red sour soup as a gift. The location is also excellent, right in the city center, close to everything. It's just a few minutes' drive to Xiuli Tao, and there are many authentic Kaili eateries nearby. The hotel is also directly across the street from a park, perfect for an evening stroll after dinner, and Kaili is beautiful this season with flowers everywhere. Highly recommended!"

The quiet and beautiful atmosphere is easy to create.
"The hotel was exceptional. If I could give six stars I would do. The hotel itself is really pleasantly designed. The layout is friendly and comfortable. The food is really good.The breakfast was outstanding with amazing selection of different dishes. The bedroom was very comfortable I slept exceptionally well. What makes this hotel special is the staff, they are incredibly attentive, and make sure that you are comfortable in every way possible. In particular I want to mention the lady called YangYang - She is probably one of the best hosts I have met anywhere and she is the reason I would give SIX stars! Location wise. It is very convenient to the high-speed rail station. It is slightly less convenient to the town of Kaili itself which requires a short taxi ride. But don’t let that deter you if you are arriving by HSR this must be your number one choice. Well done Yang Yang and team."

"The Qiandong Yiju Hotel is great! It's truly excellent value for money. The service is superb—the friendly smiles and thoughtful consideration for us, even reminding us of breakfast times and seating areas. We loved feeling at home! The cleanliness was also perfect; the room had a light, pleasant fragrance, which we loved. The facilities were complete, with generous amounts of toothpaste and a toilet seat cover—essential for winter. Even better, the hot water came quickly and in large quantities, and the temperature remained consistent. Such attention to detail! I was worried the blankets might be thin and cold, but they were surprisingly warm, perhaps due to the Gree air conditioner. The environment was also lovely; the sunlight streaming through the window was so comforting! It's very close to the high-speed rail station, about a 7-8 minute walk—amazing! The room was spacious and not cramped, with a separate wet and dry area and a smart toilet. It's located near Xiulitao, making it convenient for watching the village. It's a 20-minute taxi ride to Kaili South Station. While there aren't many dining options nearby, it's a 10-minute taxi ride to the Guomao area for dining and shopping. The hotel environment is spacious and emphasizes a wellness concept. The front desk offers daily herbal tea, and the laundry room is convenient. The facilities are new, and the receptionist, Ms. Li, was exceptionally kind; we all liked her very much. The hotel offers free luggage storage. We stored our luggage for two days in Zhenyuan, and the hotel even attached a card to each item, which was very thoughtful. Overall, we stayed for four nights and had a very comfortable experience. This is a genuine review, not a paid endorsement. The only drawback was the breakfast; although it was advertised as a wellness meal, the selection was limited.

There are many varieties of breakfast and the taste is really good. The location is very convenient, and traveling is hassle-free. The price-performance ratio is high. I will come back next time. Clean and hygienic. The front desk service was very professional. The lobby has computers, a fax machine, and a copier available for use, and they even offer nutritious porridge in the evening. However, I suggest they remove the deposit policy, as it's a bit uncomfortable for guests. Perhaps it was due to my room type or orientation, but I didn't find the view outside the window to be particularly great. The parking lot is huge, so you can park anywhere, and there's a large supermarket downstairs.

Next to the hotel is the Cultural Memorial Hall. The surrounding cherry blossoms, smiles, and magnolias are in full bloom. It is also facing the lake. The whole environment is pleasing to the eye. The hotel lobby design is also beautiful and grand, and the room details have various ethnic characteristics. The lake view room has a better view, especially when the lights are turned on at night, the night view is very beautiful, and I even saw people setting off fireworks at night. Breakfast was delivered to the room, and the variety was very rich, especially the shredded pork noodles with mushrooms, which tasted very good. There seemed to be a lot of spicy oil, but the actual spiciness was not bad. I couldn't help but eat more than half of the bowl. A hotel with good scenery and good value for money. The breakfast is delicious. I will definitely choose it next time.

The guesthouse was great—clean, hygienic, and with a great riverside view. They even upgraded our room because it was the off-season. The landlady and the receptionist were incredibly kind and helpful. They even gave our child a cute batik bag. After exploring the ancient town, we highly recommend this place!
