"The room was spotless, and the smart facilities were a nice touch. The pillows were incredibly comfortable! The hotel's right on a bustling pedestrian street with tons of food options. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and you can easily walk to Lijinmen and Yingtianmen. They even had welcome snacks and a small souvenir, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, it was a much better experience than I expected!"

"Locarion is nearby to Luoyi Ancient Town. The room service was superb. The hostess upgrades us to bigger room when there's availability. All other staff will help us in making the stay comfortable, including helping us move our luggages to the other rooms when needed. The hostess recommended us places to eat and helped to call to confirm our Empress Wu feast seats. Absolutely a delight to stay there."

"The room was incredibly clean and hygienic. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic, especially the young lady. They even offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from Longmen High-Speed Rail Station. There's coffee and snacks available at the front desk. The surrounding area is also very nice, convenient, and transportation is easily accessible. The breakfast selection was quite rich too. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit."

"The property was beautiful with nice decor and architecture on each floor. The location is nice, walking distance to Luoyi Ancient city, ShiZi Jie and a short walk to transit. The staff was friendly and helpful for our requests. If you're travelling with people with limited mobility and preper to take the taxi, be aware it's located in a narrow alleyway and most taxi drivers won't come in. When they do, it's difficult for them to exit if another vehicle comes in. While we were here there was a collision in front of the hotel involving a bike and a vehicle so lots of cars were blocked and couldn't pass."

"Location: Very convenient, with the subway right outside the hotel and plenty of dining options nearby. The surrounding area is very pleasant. Room: The larger room types can accommodate a queen bed and a single bed, which is great for families. The room decor is simple but the facilities are convenient, especially the well-designed bathroom and shower area. Contrary to what I read online, I didn't find the shower pressure to be weak at all. Service and Hygiene: The service was very prompt. The extra duvet I requested in advance was already in the room when we arrived. Mineral water was freely available in the elevator area, and laundry detergent was also provided – these are all very thoughtful details. The cleanliness was also excellent. Breakfast: Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, half an hour earlier than most hotels, which is very accommodating for guests heading to attractions early or catching an early high-speed train. The breakfast selection was also quite varied and the quality was good. Overall, I highly recommend it. Even during a short holiday, it offers good value for money and is worth staying at. Two minor suggestions: Firstly, the room lighting is controlled by a single switch. It would be helpful if it could be differentiated slightly, as having all the lights on at once can be a bit wasteful sometimes. Secondly, it would be great if some folding drying racks could be provided."

"I have mixed feelings about writing this review. This stop in Luoyang was at the end of our road trip, and we specifically chose the Huayang Plaza Hotel, which is often referred to as the 'Pang Dong Lai of hotels' (a famous supermarket known for its exceptional service) to experience it for ourselves. The hotel's exterior is impressive, and the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. All the value-added services mentioned online were indeed real and incredibly thoughtful. I had my car washed, ordered fruits, drinks, and snacks, and enjoyed a late-night supper. I also benefited from the room cleaning and turndown service. Yet, despite all this, I felt like something was missing. There's a fundamental difference between the hotel industry and Pang Dong Lai; the core of a hotel is the tangible product it offers. For a room costing over 800 yuan, the facilities were quite dated. You had to step into the bathtub to shower, and while the towels and bedding were clean and tidy, they couldn't offset the old-fashioned wardrobes and furniture. I kept wavering between feeling warmhearted and annoyed. Later, I realized that there needs to be a balance between soft (service) and hard (facilities) aspects, and also a balance in value for money. Different people will have different opinions on this."

"Not very satisfied, the experience was really bad. And they couldn't even fix the bad experience, so I just had to put up with it 😂. I checked in on March 27th. The highest temperature was around 24 degrees Celsius, and it was about 9 or 10 degrees at night, but this hotel was so hot. I woke up around 2 AM because of the heat and couldn't get back to sleep. I had to open both windows to sleep because they don't have individual air conditioning; it's a centralized heating and cooling system. It was a bit better with the windows open, but still very hot because the room wasn't very airy. It was also noisy with the windows open, so I had to sleep with earplugs. I couldn't get good sleep and woke up again around 5 AM when it got light and there were more cars. A really terrible experience. This hotel is probably only suitable for when the centralized cooling or heating is actually needed. I changed hotels the very next day. Glad I only booked for one night."

"This stay in the hotel was perfect throughout the whole experience. Every detail was carefully considered, and the environment was elegant and warm. The staff was enthusiastic, professional, and the service attitude was very good. The location is excellent and parking is convenient. The breakfast is also rich. The rooms are clean and spotless. The facilities and equipment are complete, giving people a home-like experience."

"Very good value. Comfortable room with all you need. Clean、very friendly and helpful staff who introduced me to the best places and tips to eat around. It's a little further than I thought from both the subway station and the old city、but at least you can enjoy a quiet and peaceful time in your room. And there's plenty of bikes and scooter you can rent all around so it's rather convenient."

"Overall, it was a good experience. The room layout was well-designed, making it easy to store belongings, and the soundproofing was decent. Although there's a road and a shopping mall diagonally across, which can be noisy during the day with loudspeakers, it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was quite extensive, and the coffee was excellent. The hotel staff were all very friendly, helping with luggage and greeting guests with smiles. The front desk, in particular, proactively offered information about the local area. Bella Li, especially, was very attentive and helpful when assisting me with extending my stay. My only suggestion would be to add trash cans in the public areas on the first floor; their absence was a bit inconvenient."
