"This B&B is located within Luoyi Ancient City. Though the entrance isn't grand, once you step inside, it feels like a hidden gem. It's built in the style of a traditional courtyard house, with a rooftop terrace that offers a close-up view of the Drum Tower. The whole place has such a wonderful vibe. We booked a king-size room with a private balcony, which was quite spacious. The furnishings had an antique charm, and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing and birds chirping was incredibly comforting. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, perfect for recovering after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom amenities were also excellent, with a lovely fragrance. The towels were soft and comfortable, and surprisingly, they even provided a bath mat, which you usually only find in high-end hotels. It made us feel both reassured and pampered – seems like the owner has great taste! 😉 The front desk staff was also very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. However, there was one minor issue: the bathroom mirror in the room was a bit impractical. It was quite far from the sink, and there was no magnifying mirror 🪞. As someone who needs to get close to the mirror to put in contact lenses, I found this inconvenient. 😂 Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this B&B! 👍👍👍"

"The best hotel to stay in Luoyang, perfect location in the oldtown part of the city. It ais a beautiful newly renovated heritage house turned into hotel. The staffs are amazing, very helpful. My husband got injured during this trip and the staffs so helpful with everything to make sure our holiday went smoothly. Room was quite big for 3 of us, all equipped with smart tech. Staffs speak abit english but there is a translator device and we communicate with wechat so no problem at all. Very recommended place to stay in luoyang"

"This hotel exceeded my expectations in a wonderful way! Before booking, I was a bit hesitant because I saw some negative reviews, but then I thought, even five-star hotels get bad reviews, so I just went for it. And I'm so glad I did—it was even better than I imagined. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. My mom forgot her phone charger, and they had spares available, and they also had umbrellas for a rainy day. The breakfast was genuinely good; at least my mom really enjoyed it. She has a sensitive stomach, and the breakfast suited her perfectly, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties like beef soup, rice noodles, bread, and pastries. You can see for yourselves in the pictures! The room design was very thoughtful, with a separate toilet and shower, which is super convenient when traveling with family. Oh, and it's close to the high-speed rail station, but it wasn't noisy at all, so we slept really soundly."

"The location is fantastic! It's right outside Lijin Gate, and Nanda Street is just a two or three-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is also great. Even though it's on a busy street, the soundproofing is excellent once you close the balcony door at night. The service was good too!"

"Traveling with two young kids during the holidays, I booked a family room. We originally planned to stay for one night, but the kids loved it so much that we extended our stay for two more nights. First off, the room facilities are excellent, with thoughtful touches like anti-collision padding on table edges. Secondly, the location is superb, right in the city center, making it easy to get to attractions without hauling luggage too far. Lastly, I want to commend the staff; everyone was incredibly professional and polite. We'll definitely be back!"

"After much deliberation, I chose Jinyuan Wenfuyuan, and its location is truly superb! It's just a few minutes' walk from Luoyi Old City subway station, and very close to Shizijie and Lijingmen. The area is lively, yet the guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat, so my stay wasn't affected by any noise. As for service, the staff called me in advance and even added me on WeChat to give me directions and share many local recommendations for food and attractions. It was perfect for an introvert like me, as the staff didn't intrude, but daily linen replenishment was always on point, and the room was kept spotless – truly thoughtful! The room environment is genuinely good, with smart voice control throughout, a smart toilet, and excellent soundproofing. This time, because we had a 'special forces' (fast-paced) itinerary, we picked a smaller room. Next time, I'll definitely choose a bigger one, especially since both of us are quite tall. The only minor drawback was that the shower threshold was a bit low, causing water to spill out during showering, though it dried quickly. In terms of price, this guesthouse is truly competitive, given its prime location – it's a real bargain! All in all, I would definitely recommend it to friends and family; the experience was fantastic! Luoyang is beautiful, Jinyuan is great, and I'll be back!"

"The experience of staying in Luoyang this time was great! The rooms are spacious and tidy, the decoration is simple and atmospheric, and the overall is warm and comfortable. The bedding is soft and clean, and the sleep is particularly stable. The atmosphere of the projection giant screen is directly full. It is especially pleasant to watch movies in your leisure time. The house is fully equipped, with air conditioning, tables and chairs, sofas, etc., and the details are well maintained. The lighting and ventilation are very good, the floor-to-ceiling windows are matched with gauze curtains, bright and elegant. The hygiene is impeccable, and the floor and table top are spotless. The location is convenient, the surrounding environment is quiet, and the price is very high. The late-night snack was also a comforting touch. All the staff were friendly and proactive. **Facilities:** New and comprehensive, with a 'three-separation' bathroom (wet/dry separation for shower, toilet, and sink), which was very convenient to use. **Hygiene:** Clean and tidy. **Ambiance:** The decor was fresh, elegant, and tasteful. **Service:** Attentive and meticulous, with prompt responses. **High-Speed Rail Station Pick-up/Drop-off Service (requires booking at least 1 day in advance, subject to availability for the same time slot):** The pick-up and drop-off service was excellent. The driver was very professional and courteous, the car was in great condition, and we arrived on time."

"Wonderful stay. Definitely will recommend to others. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, host is friendly. Location is great. Away from the ancient city, You turn left from the inn to the main road, there is a really popular dumpling shop next to the police station, and on the main road if you turn left, there is a massage parlour on level 3, and further down is the night food market with great food. (Much better than what they offer in the ancient city) ranging from a 5-15 min walk. If you head towards the ancient city, turn right from the inn and it feels like you’re there already, but it’s just the outside of the wall, about 5 mins walk, you meet the actual entrance. And super picturesque. Thank you host. You guys are great!"
