"Extremely satisfied! I've stayed at the West Lake State Guesthouse and Xizi Hotel multiple times, and this time I visited Shaoxing Hotel, a state guesthouse in a tier-three city. I found it to have its own unique charm, and the check-in experience and value for money were on par with, if not better than, state guesthouses in provincial capitals. If you explore carefully, you'll discover many novelties. Plus, the enthusiastic staff shared many historical anecdotes with us. While the scenery might not have the natural advantages of a provincial capital's state guesthouse, the views near Dai Cafe are absolutely stunning, and Fushan Park is just a stone's throw away. Fan Wenlan's Former Residence is elegant and serene, exuding a pleasant cultural atmosphere. The hotel's Lingxiao Pavilion is classic and quaint, and the Duoshijinliang Bridge has a unique and beautiful design, maintaining an ancient, refined style. The sculpture in the center of the hotel lobby combines ancient and modern elements, making it very interesting. The crystal chandelier is also different from others, with a beautiful name: 'Listening to the Rain on Fushan'. The staff shared all these details with us as if they were cherished treasures. Shaoxing is a city rich in culture, and its state guesthouse is naturally a shining pearl within it. So, our two-day stay was a rich experience. The 68 RMB breakfast was incredibly rich, delicious, and nutritionally balanced. I bought a hotel package, which was great value, including a black-awning boat tour and a complimentary dinner. It also included three quick-edit photos from a travel photography session. The dinner was lavish, with a full sense of ceremony. The new travel photography service was also excellent. My scheduled date was fully booked, but the extended date brought rain and a significant drop in temperature, and I was due to check out. The travel photography customer service helped me arrange a session for 5 PM on my desired day, and the photographer efficiently captured beautiful photos before dark, quickly and skillfully. Both the photographer and the stylist were wonderful, working tirelessly and demonstrating high levels of skill and emotional intelligence."

"Very satisfied, very satisfied! The room was on a high floor with a beautiful view, and the room itself was nice. Being on a high floor, with completely sealed windows, it did feel a bit stuffy at times. We traveled with a baby and they provided a crib and a playpen. One downside of the double bed was that one of the nightstands couldn't be moved, so we couldn't push the beds together. The breakfast was also excellent, and the location was superb – right by the subway station. It's very close to the ancient town and Keyan. Highly recommend!"

"This is an absolutely wonderful pet-friendly hotel! 😊😊 The location is fantastic, right by the pedestrian street in the ancient town. The hotel provides clear directions to the parking lot, and from there, it's about a two to three hundred meter walk. You cross an old stone arch bridge and pass a big tree, which gives it such a special vibe. I can't even remember the name of the stone bridge, though! 😂 The hotel also has a shuttle service that picks you up, and you're there in just a few minutes. There are so many great food options nearby too! 😍😍 The hotel's courtyard is beautiful, and they even have an adorable pet manager named Fugui. My dog got along great with Fugui, no issues at all. There's a must-see photo spot by the river in the hotel lobby, definitely don't miss it! 🐱🐶💕 The rooms are spacious with a very practical layout. You can enjoy tea while looking out at the river view. There's also a large panoramic terrace on the third floor. The breakfast is extensive, with everything from multi-grain noodles to wontons! There's a free park nearby where you can take your dog for a walk. In the evening, you can enjoy the moonlight and river view of the ancient town. I bought some delicious persimmons. Traveling during the off-peak season meant fewer crowds, making it a very enjoyable stay. I even extended my stay! ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧❤️❤️"

"Upgraded to a suite for free, super affordable and nice room for the price. Bed is very comfortable and the room is super clean, bathroom is great. A/C had some trouble, was quite hot in the room during the day time, otherwise a great stay and good location"

"The most surprising discovery of this trip to Shaoxing is this treasure hotel! The location is excellent. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the fireworks alleys of Cangqiaozhi Street. You can walk into Lu Xun's hometown to feel the humanistic atmosphere around the corner. The food and shopping of Jindi Yintai City are also close at hand. You don't have to worry about transportation at all. As soon as you step into the hotel, you will be amazed by the Jiangnan charm of the courtyard. The white walls and black tiles are dotted with greenery, and there are photo-taking spots everywhere in the garden! The most thoughtful thing is that there is a free Hanfu experience here. The boss lady personally helped me choose and match, and patiently taught me to wear accessories with my hair in a bun. I put on Hanfu and strolled in the courtyard, and instantly became a Jiangnan beauty~ The boss lady really did the service to the extreme! From the front desk reception to the departure, the whole process was warm and thoughtful. Not only did she actively recommend the locals' private food routes, but she also thoughtfully prepared mosquito repellent and hand-painted maps. The room is warm and elegant, and the details are full of care. Going back to the hotel every day is as warm as going home. Highly recommended to all friends who come to Shaoxing, this hotel will definitely make your journey full of happiness!"

"The experience was perfect! The front desk lady was beautiful and lovely, the warm greetings at reception, and the meticulous and thoughtful room service made people feel warm in every aspect. The room design is simple and elegant, with all kinds of intelligent equipment. The curtains and lights can be controlled with one button, which is full of technology. The bedding is clean and soft, the bathroom is equipped with brand toiletries, and there are thoughtful welcome fruits and handwritten cards. The details are perfect!"

"My overall experience was great. The day before check-in, Stephen (Xiao Wu) gave me a heads-up call and proactively upgraded my room. Although there was a minor hiccup right after check-in, the staff were incredibly prompt and efficient in resolving it, which was excellent. A slight disappointment was the absence of a bathtub in the room, and unfortunately, I couldn't make use of the spacious balcony due to the rain, which was a pity. The afternoon tea was excellent. The staff also enthusiastically showed me around the hotel's public areas, demonstrating genuine warmth. My only minor feedback is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited. It reminded me a bit of Atour hotels, but the service and overall quality of offerings were excellent."

There is a charging pile for the tram friendly. It is close to the attraction. It is about 10 minutes walk from the hometown of Shusheng. The ancient city wall is very next to it. You can make a beautiful film in the hotel. The room is comfortable and the quilt is soft and comfortable. The hair dryer is good and high-quality. Even the slippers are so good. The toothbrush is also very good. It is worthy of praise that the long stool in the room is so convenient. Fortunately, the front desk is praised. It rained and sat wet. "The satisfaction was beyond our expectations. After communicating our needs, the hotel upgraded us to a theme suite when there were no rooms that met our needs due to the full occupancy. We spent a pleasant two-day trip to Shaoxing in a quiet and comfortable manner. It is a short walk to the tourist attraction Lu Xun's hometown, and then you can go directly to Chen Garden. It is convenient to eat and play around. Our first choice is to eat buffet in the hotel, which has more choices. The breakfast is rich and the service attitude is enthusiastic. Come to Shaoxing, stay in Xianheng and have fun!"
