"A fantastic, highly recommended stay! Dongyueli perfectly captures the ambiance of a Jiangnan water town. The hotel is right next to Cangqiao Old Street, built by the river, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's within walking distance to Lu Xun's former residence, Fushan Park, and other attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city. The staff were warm and attentive, and the common areas were wonderfully relaxing for tea and chats."

"Great facility, Great location, Great food, Great service and Great view. Stayed three nights there with no problem at all. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. Two minutes walk from Keqiao Ancient Town for evening chill and Five to Ten minutes walk from Textile Markets depending on your textile needs The breakfast menu is same for all day but the taste was great. The receptionists are not very well in English but always ready to help your needs. Room Service was so great. The view from our room is not very well but can see the canal and the old home."

"This trip with my mother was mainly about finding a comfortable, quiet environment where we could rest well. Atour's service, cleanliness, ambiance, and facilities are all top-notch, making it our first choice for travel. The check-in service was exceptionally detailed, thoughtful, and the staff's attitude was superb. Breakfast was plentiful, and the mini wontons were especially delicious. It's also very close to all the scenic spots, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. It would be even more perfect if there were package deal discounts available! 👍😎"

"Pros: This is an economy hotel. The location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly convenient for visiting various attractions nearby, very close to Shaoxing Station and the subway. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast is abundant; though it's all basic fare, there's both Chinese and Western options, and a full selection of drinks and yogurt. The rooftop outdoor dining area is very comfortable. Cons: The upgraded rooms (those ending in 10 or 11) have huge pillars inside. Guests planning to stay here should either decline the upgrade or book a higher-grade room. The 'Quiet Elegant King Room (no window)' is extremely small, so small that if the bathroom door is open, you can't walk past it. The bathroom itself is also tiny, with no separate wet and dry areas, and the shower controls are a bit peculiar, making showering inconvenient. Double Self-Service Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea is self-serve in the lobby. There's a dried vegetable pastry (gan cai su bing) that was delicious; I even bought more from a scenic spot later to take home."

"I was on a business trip to Shaoxing and booked this hotel last minute. The accommodations were great – the room was quiet, and the tea and coffee packets were good quality, not cheap. Parking was also super convenient, free and right next to the hotel. They even gave us complimentary welcome fruit. The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast was really extensive. There are also a lot of street food options downstairs, and the location is very convenient. You can walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, Cangqiao Straight Street, and Zhou Enlai's Ancestral Home. The facilities are complete, clean, tidy, and the environment is pleasant and quiet. I had a really comfortable stay. This stay was perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing for business."

The front desk and cleaning service are gentle and thoughtful, and the whole process is worry-free. The quality of breakfast exceeded expectations, there were many fresh and delicious choices, and I woke up to a rich breakfast. The fatigue of the journey disappeared instantly. It is highly recommended! I have stayed in the most cost-effective hotel for more than 100 prices. The room type is large and the service is good. It is close to the subway station."

They contacted us the day before, asking about our travel plans and if we were bringing elderly, children, or pets. The hotel is nestled within an old residential area, blending in perfectly without any sense of incongruity – it felt like discovering a new world in a bustling district. The surroundings are surprisingly quiet with low foot traffic. Even better, it's incredibly close to all the popular attractions, which meant we didn't have to trek far to enjoy the sights, while still having a peaceful retreat at the hotel. This was definitely the highlight for our family. The courtyard, with its charming bridges and flowing water, had a lovely spring-like vibe, perfect for artsy photos. After a long day of exploring, instead of going straight to our room, we relaxed by the pool, soaking up the sun – so serene and utterly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved the subtle, pleasant fragrance. The color scheme in the room was particularly appealing, both stylish and cozy. With the pool right outside the window and plenty of sunshine streaming in, it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was quite varied, featuring many local specialties. The 'yinggao' (rice cake) was absolutely delicious; I ate three pieces myself! The handmade 'xiaohuntun' (mini wontons) prepared by the auntie were also incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. P.S. It was a bit busy during breakfast, and the wontons and pumpkin 'miangeda' (dough drops) were made fresh to order, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although they accidentally gave our bowl of miangeda to another guest, they quickly prepared a new one for us. We totally understand that mistakes happen sometimes, and we still really enjoyed it. We visit Shaoxing frequently and will definitely be back if we get the chance. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!"
