"Great little hotel, short walk to Cangqiao Straight Street. The hostess was helpful and warm, gave me food recommendations which turned out to be great.
The room had a wonderful smell, like hinoki wood I think? It was very pleasant. The bed was slightly hard and some noise from the nearby market in the mornings could be heard, but I slept well. The hostess gave me some meigancai as a parting gift which I really appreciate!"

"The cleanliness at this hotel wasn't great. As soon as I walked into the bathroom, I saw a hair on the toilet. The room was quite large, but being on the 3rd floor, there were mosquitoes, and the mosquito coil made me feel terrible. The young lady at the front desk spoke so softly, it was like she hadn't eaten. And her attitude wasn't good either; she was very blunt. It left a really bad impression!"

"Service: The front desk staff had a great attitude and answered all my questions.
Cleanliness: Good, the bathroom was clean, and there was no dust on the desk or wardrobe.
Environment: The surrounding area is nice, with an Intime Department Store nearby for shopping, and Lu Xun's Former Residence is just a short walk away.
Facilities: It has all the standard hotel amenities, and the room having two locks made me feel secure.
Drawbacks: 1. The soundproofing isn't great; I could hear people walking by outside and even the sound of mobile payment notifications from other rooms.
2. The window screens in my room were dusty, but the curtains and other room facilities were clean, which is better than some other hotels I've stayed in."

The hotel lobby is clean and spacious, check-in was quick, and the front desk lady was incredibly friendly and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was even better than the pictures. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept incredibly well. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were lightly scented. The attention to detail was incredible! The value for money is incredible. I'll definitely stay here again!

MM435046****First off, the location is fantastic! Lu Xun's Former Residence and Cangqiao Street are right next door, just a short walk away. The hygiene is also excellent; the rooms are very clean. The facilities are quite basic but sufficient for use. Second, there are so many dining options nearby, and the food is all pretty good. Third, transportation is super convenient. It's only a two-minute walk from Metro Exit B, and there are plenty of bus routes nearby too. My family of three rented an e-scooter from the owner. It had a navigation holder and good storage space for bags, snacks, and so on, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of effort exploring this way, especially since many places we visited were just a quick scooter ride away. If something looked interesting, we'd hop off and take a photo. The e-scooter rental was also very affordable. Renting an e-scooter was the smartest decision we made on this trip. Shaoxing is great for walking tours, but a scooter is even better – otherwise, your feet would be worn out! Highly recommend it, especially for families with kids.

AAnonymous UserI came to Xishi's hometown for a May Day trip. It was great to be able to book a hotel room at the usual price. The front desk service was good. There was free parking at the door, but there might not be much space during holidays. Bread and milk were delivered after checking in, but you had to go to the front desk to get them yourself.

MM478726****I was really satisfied with the room; it offered great value for money. This guesthouse is quite unique, located within an ancient building. Best of all, there was no formaldehyde smell from renovations, which I'm very sensitive to. While it might be a bit old and small, the overall experience was excellent. They even have their own restaurant, which hosts events every night at 9 PM, like movie screenings, dancing, and releasing river lanterns. The value here is truly unbeatable. Plus, the location is superb – just a 3-minute walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, right within the scenic area. Highly recommend it, it's really good!

Secondly, the decoration style of the house is very tasteful, the room is very warm, and it is very convenient to travel to the surrounding attractions. There is a subway just a few hundred meters away. Shaoxing Yintai City is diagonally opposite, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun.
