Hygiene: The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was quiet at night.

"An absolutely amazing value-for-money stay! This B&B has a great atmosphere and elegant decor, plus it's super conveniently located very close to Cangqiao Old Street. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming; she even upgraded us to a family room when she saw we had a child with us. She also recommended a bunch of fantastic local eateries, and to top it all off, she gave us a parting gift, which was such a delightful surprise! 🥰🥰 I'll definitely be recommending this place to any friends visiting Shaoxing in the future!"

"First off, the location is fantastic! Lu Xun's Former Residence and Cangqiao Street are right next door, just a short walk away. The hygiene is also excellent; the rooms are very clean. The facilities are quite basic but sufficient for use. Second, there are so many dining options nearby, and the food is all pretty good. Third, transportation is super convenient. It's only a two-minute walk from Metro Exit B, and there are plenty of bus routes nearby too. My family of three rented an e-scooter from the owner. It had a navigation holder and good storage space for bags, snacks, and so on, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of effort exploring this way, especially since many places we visited were just a quick scooter ride away. If something looked interesting, we'd hop off and take a photo. The e-scooter rental was also very affordable. Renting an e-scooter was the smartest decision we made on this trip. Shaoxing is great for walking tours, but a scooter is even better – otherwise, your feet would be worn out! Highly recommend it, especially for families with kids."

"The room was a bit compact, but very well-designed and functional. The bottom section of the wardrobe had ample space for luggage, there was a small desk perfect for a laptop, and even a cozy armchair. Everywhere, from the hallway to the room, was spotless. The bathroom was especially spacious, with a great wet/dry separation and a wide countertop for the sink. Free parking was available in the backyard, and both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were incredibly warm and attentive. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of Xianheng Hotel and Lu Xun's Former Residence. The breakfast offered a comfortable spread including small wontons, millet porridge, congee, soy milk, fried dough sticks, steamed buns, steamed sweet potatoes, and pickled vegetables."

"The window of the room is really amazing. The window is a dense green tree, full of fresh greenery, sunny sun through the glass into the house, the atmosphere is directly full. Every place is clean and tidy. The front desk service is also very good, after washing the clothes, help to send to the room, free parking and charging piles, quiet and suitable for rest, relaxing and comfortable, the journey fatigue is instantly cured by the green outside the window!"

"The cleanliness wasn't great, but the staff service was okay. We were assigned a room at the end of the hallway, and the sheets and duvet covers were dirty, making both me and my friend unable to sleep. We went to the front desk to ask for a change of sheets and duvet covers.
Additionally, I wanted to wash my hair at night, but there was no hot water, only cold. The power outlet on the left side of the bed also wasn't working; I had to charge my phone under the TV."

Ren9This Hanting hotel offers incredible value for money. Its location right next to Lu Xun's former residence is super convenient for walking around. There are tons of little shops, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, so you never have to worry about finding a place to eat.
The management must be excellent because all the front desk staff are so friendly. Every time I walked in, they'd stand up and greet me – that's a level of service even some Atour hotels don't provide! I'd definitely want to come back here again. Oh, and the rooms are exceptionally clean too!

The overall experience far exceeded my expectations! The location is convenient for getting around, and the room is spacious and bright. Even the hard-to-reach corners were spotless. The mattress was just right—neither too soft nor too firm—so I slept really well. The service staff were friendly and patient, and requests were handled quickly. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. It offers excellent value for money and is perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I genuinely recommend it.

The hotel lobby is clean and spacious, check-in was quick, and the front desk lady was incredibly friendly and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was even better than the pictures. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept incredibly well. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were lightly scented. The attention to detail was incredible! The value for money is incredible. I'll definitely stay here again!

If convenience and value for money are your priorities, this place is recommended. However, if you have high hygiene standards, think twice. I always stay here for business trips. It's quiet and clean, with new facilities and attentive service. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient. The decor is nice, the amenities are comprehensive, and the room has no strange odors.

I was really satisfied with the room; it offered great value for money. This guesthouse is quite unique, located within an ancient building. Best of all, there was no formaldehyde smell from renovations, which I'm very sensitive to. While it might be a bit old and small, the overall experience was excellent. They even have their own restaurant, which hosts events every night at 9 PM, like movie screenings, dancing, and releasing river lanterns. The value here is truly unbeatable. Plus, the location is superb – just a 3-minute walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, right within the scenic area. Highly recommend it, it's really good!
