They even checked in on him during subsequent meals. The cleaning staff also offered caring advice. And the thoughtful souvenir given at checkout – these personal touches truly enriched our trip and made it unforgettable."

"Before coming to Hongcun, I didn't have high expectations, thinking it would just be another old village to visit and leave. However, my stay at 'Hongcun Yike Homestay' made me feel that every detail of this trip radiated warmth. Upon arriving at Hongcun bus station, I was unfamiliar with the area and was stressing about how to drag my luggage across the stone-paved paths to the homestay while looking at a map. The moment I called, the owner's enthusiastic voice immediately put me at ease: 'Wait there, I'll be right over to pick you up!' In less than ten minutes, the owner appeared on an electric scooter, swiftly tied my luggage to the vehicle, and cheerfully motioned for me to hop on. We weaved through Hongcun's winding alleys and past bustling crowds of tourists. The homestay was tucked away in a quiet lane near Moon Pond, an excellent location. You could see Moon Pond just around the corner, yet it was peaceful and quiet – truly an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, I was captivated by this homestay, a renovated Huizhou-style building. The exquisitely carved porch, wooden corridors, and rustic private courtyard exuded the unique elegance and serenity characteristic of Huizhou homes. Inside the room, it was bright and clean. The antique-style wooden bed paired with a soft mattress offered both classic charm and comfort. The night was exceptionally quiet, and I slept soundly. Early the next morning, I opened the window to a beautiful view of the Huizhou-style horse-head walls in the morning light, distant mountains draped in lush greenery, and the nearby sounds of birdsong and fragrant flowers. It truly felt like living inside a traditional Chinese ink wash painting. On the day of my departure, the owner drove me to the bus station as usual, reminding me of other places I hadn't visited in Hongcun along the way. Before saying goodbye, the owner pulled out a packet of chrysanthemum tea from the trunk, handed it to me, and smiled, saying, 'This is our local chrysanthemum tea, take it home and try it.' Holding that packet of tea, my heart felt warm. Staying here truly felt like returning to an old friend's home in Huizhou, thoughtful and considerate in every way. 'Yike Homestay' truly lives up to its name – making one feel 'at ease' (逸) and so content that guests (客) forget to leave. Next time I'm in Hongcun, I'll definitely stay here again."

"Location-wise, this B&B is right in the heart of everything. It's a renovated century-old house, and you step right out to Moon Pond. The owner is really nice and even offers luggage transfer within the scenic area. Waking up early in Hongcun before the crowds is a completely different experience. Staying here, you can just walk out and see Moon Pond, and South Lake is also very close and convenient."

"The guesthouse is just over a kilometer from the entrance to Hongcun, very close, but the owner picked me up and dropped me off at Hongcun every day. The facilities are very new, like they were just built. The owners' family also stayed at the guesthouse. The rooms were very clean, and I slept very well every night! The atmosphere was great! It was very quiet, and there was even a projector. The family at the guesthouse was very welcoming and even lent me their electric scooter to go for a ride around the area. The three-day multi-entry ticket meant we didn't have to rush back and forth. The old house is an authentic Huizhou-style building, with its courtyard, carved wooden windows, and horse-head walls creating a fantastic ambiance. The small courtyard's elegant greenery made it perfect for relaxing with tea and taking photos. The room was spotlessly clean, with soft bedding and a well-separated bathroom with plenty of hot water. The damp-proofing was excellent, with no musty smells, and it was quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The owner and housekeeper were incredibly thoughtful; they actively helped with luggage upon arrival, explained the Hongcun touring routes, and recommended local Huizhou restaurants. Breakfast was an authentic farm-style meal, with fresh and abundant congee, Huizhou rice dumplings, and farm-fresh eggs. Checkout was efficient and smooth, and the owner even thoughtfully advised us on our return route. Their service was genuinely warm and sincere throughout. With its ancient charm and heartwarming service, it offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hongcun, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Southern Anhui!"

"Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!"
