"The best hotel and service that i have stayed at in China.
They met us at the village ticket entry point to guide us and help us with our luggages. While we were checking in, they delivered our luggages to the room. After checking in at the front desk they walk us to our room and provide us with a tray of their local delicacies for teabreak.
They provided great advice on where to walk, visit and eat.
They went the extra mile to help us with our laundry and also move our laundry from the washer to the dryer. This is an added service which we were not expecting and really appreciate after a tiring long day on Hiangshan mountain.
The 2 ladies at the front desk are the best👍👍
Finally on the day of checking out, it was quick and easy and they helped us with bringing our luggages from the upper to the ground floor. Note there is no lift in the hotel too.
This is a must stay hotel if you are looking for great service, amenities, and help/guidance."

"The location is great. It's in a quiet alley in the bustling street outside Hongcun Village. Diagonally across the road is the entrance to Hongcun. It's a great location.
It's not far from the bus transfer station. It takes less than ten minutes. Buses to Huangshan South Gate, Xidi and Nanping are very convenient.
Antique little yard, very cost-effective.
The boss also has a Wheatfield Coffee, which is a unique place where you can drink coffee and relax in the sun. The coffee shop also has a little stray dog that was taken in by the owner. His left eye is broken. I hope that the puppy will thrive under the loving care of the owner and the store staff. When I come next year, I hope the puppy will still be there❤️"

"Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. "Located beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

I met many sincere, beautiful and pure people. I was moved and healed by them countless times. I was so reluctant to leave on the way back that I was so happy here. I drank all kinds of wine brewed by Brother Benyan, ate firewood rice, sewed sachets by myself, went out with volunteers, and went to the observation deck to see the scenery. All of these were my first time. I was very happy! The B&B is built from an old house, with green plants, flowers, flowing water and koi, and the design is very clever. The food is good, the auntie cooks delicious dishes, and the most valuable thing is that all the ingredients are green food grown by herself.
The room is clean and tidy, and the proprietress is capable and enthusiastic, and she is always responsive. It rained on the day of arrival, and the proprietress drove to pick us up in person and introduced the scenery along the way.

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

GGuest UserThe whole family travels together, the transportation is very convenient, the navigation is direct, and it is easy to find! I took my parents and Zai Zai with me. The boss was very enthusiastic and introduced the nearby attractions. Since I was bringing Zai Zai, he also introduced which attractions were suitable for Zai Zai. It is only 10 minutes away from Hongcun and it is really convenient. The accommodation and bedding are very comfortable. Yes, the staff are like family members, and the service is attentive. The food we eat is all grown at home, clean and well-prepared. Because we have Zaizai, the meals are prepared with less oil and less salt, which is great! Thank you. I will come again next time!

This trip to Hongcun with my family was a delightful surprise, and the ”7076 Nanhu Lakeside Resort” exceeded all my expectations! I absolutely must share this unforgettable experience!
The homestay's location is simply superb, right within the Hongcun scenic area and very close to the center. It's incredibly convenient for sightseeing and enjoying local cuisine, saving us a lot of time and energy.
Regarding parking, since parking is not available inside the scenic area, we had to park in the paid parking lot outside for 20 yuan a day (24 hours), which was very affordable. Although it involved a little more walking, the peace of mind it provided made it all worthwhile.
As for the room, the ”Moon Gazing” scenic heated family room completely exceeded our expectations. The room had one double bed and one single bed. We initially thought it might be cramped with a large group, but it was surprisingly spacious. The homestay staff were also incredibly thoughtful; upon learning of our needs, they not only quickly added an extra bed for us but also carefully inquired if we had any other requirements.
The facilities here are excellent. The 24-hour front desk is always available, ensuring we get immediate assistance with any issues. The luggage storage service is incredibly useful for families like ours. The parking lot is well-planned and very convenient. The rooms are fully equipped with all necessary amenities of excellent quality, and the soft, comfortable bedding ensures a good night's sleep every night.
The dining at the guesthouse is exceptional. We ordered meals from the guesthouse, and the variety and taste were superb. Each dish seemed to incorporate local flavors, with fresh ingredients and exquisite cooking techniques, leaving us raving about the food. Breakfast is available nearby, offering a wide selection, and the steaming hot breakfast started our day off right.
In addition to these amenities, the guesthouse provides outfits for guests to try on for photoshoots. With a wide variety of styles, from traditional Hanfu to modern fashion, there's something for everyone. Wearing these beautiful outfits against the stunning backdrop of the guesthouse window, every shot looks like a professional photograph.
The guesthouse staff are also incredibly warm and attentive, always attentive to our needs. After we returned from our trip, the staff proactively asked how we felt. They even helped us check our luggage after we parked the car.
Our accommodation experience in Hongcun was absolutely perfect. ”7076 South Lakeside Resort” was impeccable in terms of location, facilities, service, and dining. There is a big window to see the scenery. The owner is very enthusiastic. He came out to pick us up to enter the scenic area early in the evening. He also explained the key points on the way. I got a free tour guide. The yard was decorated very carefully by the owner. It can be seen that a lot of thought was put into it. Now the flowers and plants are growing vigorously. Drinking tea in the yard (free and very fragrant 🌝), listening to the tour guide outside the courtyard wall explaining the story of the old city, it is so pleasant 🍃

1️⃣ First of all, the door is a super large yard. There are rabbits, peacocks and candy ducks in the yard. The children should like it very much. Our two dogs are going crazy in the big yard.
2️⃣ The first day I lived on the second floor, the door opened a big balcony, the scenery was really good, the next day I lived decisively, but the next day I lived in a suite, the suite was also very good.
3️⃣ We came to five adults and two children. A few meals were eaten in the homestay. The aunt and the boss were also very good, especially the boss. The personality was very good, warm and attentive, and gave people a very kind feeling. The cooking skills are also great, the taste is very good, I just got pregnant for three months, not finished the pregnancy vomiting, but the first meal I actually ate two bowls of rice, my husband was shocked.

EE0620****The hotel's location is great, very close to Hongcun, about three kilometers away. You can easily walk to Lucun, and the hotel environment is excellent; we even walked past Tachuan! The service, as always, was wonderful, and the room was quite spacious. It uses underfloor heating, so even if you're not feeling well, the room is very comfortable. The shower pressure is fantastic, and it only takes a few minutes to fill the round bathtub. Breakfast was also quite rich, though there's still room for improvement in terms of taste. Overall, it was a pleasant stay during our trip, especially after coming down from Huangshan; we really needed an accommodation that satisfied us in all aspects, so we even extended our stay by one night! 😂

XXiaomiaomaThe service attitude is very good. The guy at the hotel front desk will call in advance to pick us up from the parking lot. He will take our luggage with us to the entrance of the ancient village on an electric bicycle. The room is on the first floor. It is very clean and spacious. There is a swing in the yard, which makes it feel very cozy. You also get snacks and free mineral water when you check in. The location is particularly good. After walking a few dozen meters, we arrived at the big banyan tree at the entrance of the village. It was a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. There were also some B&Bs around, but when I passed by, I felt that the yard of this one was the most beautiful.
