"Before check-in, the owner told me they'd arranged a shuttle service from the nearest car park. The guesthouse itself is super close to the main street, and the courtyard is beautifully decorated. They even offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for guests to borrow! The rainy weather gave Hongcun a really atmospheric feel, and I even encountered a cute little cat on the way."

"I was free, and finally had time to talk about my favorite place in this trip. I thought that Yuanyuan was an ordinary homestay, but I didn't expect surprises everywhere. The boss is very artistic, arranged with special care, and very enthusiastic, and took the initiative to help us guide the vehicle to the parking lot. The grandmother I met in the hotel was also very kind and would ask us if it was cold or not, which made people feel particularly warm. The rooms are fully equipped, and there are all mid-to-high-end hotels. They are clean, tidy and hygienic, and they are particularly safe to live. The boss is also very warm and friendly, kind and measured, maintaining a sense of distance. I really recommend everyone to experience it. The children returned to the room and kept talking about the uncle of the hotel. They wanted to go to him to play, not afraid at all. The details are full and the experience is great!"

"Hongcun Wanjingfu was the largest, most luxurious, and most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my Anhui Star stay. The rooms were enormous, with a huge courtyard, white walls, black tiles, and ivy—absolutely stunning! We were one of the few guests who brought their own breakfast, and the owner's hospitality was exemplary. Not only did he give us a can of tea, but upon hearing we were going to climb Mount Huangshan, he even found two hiking poles for us. We'll take them to Beijing as souvenirs. Thank you again!"

"Facilities: A newly opened theme B&B, the bedding and facilities are all brand new, and the toilet seat is heated, which is very detailed.
Hygiene: Very clean. There are also some entertainment projects, such as table tennis and so on.
Environment: Opposite Yixian East Station, you can see the mountains from the room windows and the balcony on the third floor. It's so beautiful on a rainy day with fairy mist lingering there. There is also a reservoir nearby with beautiful scenery. It feels like being in a landscape painting.
Service: The boss will drive his little BMW to pick up and drop off, and he will have egg noodles for breakfast in the morning. He also gives an umbrella when dropping off at the station on rainy days. Thank you so much. Although the details of the B&B have not yet been perfected, I believe it can be done well with the owner's ability and attitude. It's a good place to rest. Everyone can check in with confidence."

I booked this hotel while visiting Hongcun. I arrived at the scenic area at 6 PM. The hostess came with a cart to pick up my luggage. The entrance to the B&B is decorated in the Huizhou style. We booked a duplex on a last-minute basis; my friend prefers older buildings. We made do with it for one night. The highlight of this place is the terrace. From the top, you can enjoy the entire Hongcun nightscape. For the price, this hotel is quite good, and I'll also review it on the reviews page."

The owners are incredibly warm and attentive, from helping with luggage transfers to assisting with itinerary planning. The rooms are clean and spacious, with complete and new facilities. The wooden structure feels sturdy and soundproof, and some room types even come with a balcony offering fantastic views. The guesthouse's courtyard is large and elegant, and the common areas have a charming antique feel. It's conveniently located near the scenic area exit and major attractions, making it easy to get around while still being away from the hustle and bustle. Plus, there are adorable cats to keep you company. It's a truly comfortable and pleasant stay – a must-stay when visiting Hongcun!"

The place is conveniently located near 月昭, which is one of the most pretty sight in 宏村。 Hotel is beautiful , spacious and very clean , with a big yard where you can sip tea and enjoy the serene vibe of the place. There are 9 rooms ,all nicely designed by interior designer.
Service by the owners, husband and wife pair is impeccable. You feel welcome immediately with attention to your every need! Feels like you are staying with friends who provide you with comfort in a foreign place. Home cooked breakfast every morning and great quality sleep every night!

It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :)
Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

GGuest UserA truly special and satisfying stay. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly attentive and welcoming. They picked us up from the station upon arrival and drove us there upon departure. The courtyard was lovely, perfect for families with children. The accommodation was quiet and peaceful. They even provided a free electric scooter for the kids to play happily in the yard. It's a really great guesthouse, suitable for families, groups of friends, or couples. Staying here made me feel right at home.

GGuest UserTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserAs soon as I arrived at the B&B, the owner recognized me. Yes, I was the tourist who bought the Hongcun ticket just for the B&B. The owner even mistakenly thought I was from Hong Kong, haha! However, this trip to Hongcun really exceeded my expectations. Different from the online comments on Hongcun's commercial tourism, I personally think that Hongcun is a place worth slowly immersing yourself in and experiencing quietly.
When it comes to accommodation, the proprietress is really a very meticulous person. She is almost demanding in her hygiene requirements and will double check every sanitary blind spot. I was also very moved by her entrepreneurial story. Seeing her constantly learning and improving herself (including emotional management, communication skills, and even learning live streaming), I could deeply feel her enthusiasm and dedication to providing thoughtful service to every guest.
Speaking of food, the proprietress’s cooking skills are also amazing, especially her stinky mandarin fish, chestnut chicken and hairy tofu, each of which makes people unable to help but praise it! These authentic delicacies will definitely be unforgettable once you have tasted them.
In addition, the service provided by the boss and his wife was also touching. The boss personally took me to the express delivery point to send the express, and the boss's wife personally accompanied us to take the bus and helped us with our luggage. The service was meticulous and full of emotional value, making this trip more enjoyable.
Overall, this trip was not just a visit to the attractions, but also a warm homestay experience. I sincerely thank the proprietress and the boss. Next time I come to Hongcun, I will definitely stay here again!

TTaozijiang€This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect; it's super convenient for both nearby attractions and finding great food. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable that I fell asleep the moment I hit the pillow. The bathroom was also completely odor-free. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was lightning fast, and they even thoughtfully recommended some fun places to visit nearby. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all nutritious and delicious. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

The room is clean and tidy without any peculiar smell, and the surrounding environment is good and the air is fresh, especially suitable for strolling and relaxing.
Then everyone in the homestay is super nice. The boss will deliver fruit and Huangshan biscuits to our door when we are hungry, and provide us with bicycles to ride out for a walk. The proprietress will give us umbrellas when it rains. The aunt will always ask Do we have enough to eat, are we full (the dishes cooked by my aunt are delicious, I recommend everyone to have a meal at the homestay), and the children are also very polite.
I will come again next time~~

CChi Kwan BrainThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

MM11176****This guesthouse felt a bit disjointed. The exterior was very satisfactory; the old house, converted into a traditional dwelling in the quiet Bishan Village, had a particularly rustic feel. The persimmon tree in the courtyard was like a painting. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, unlike the overly salty and spicy Anhui cuisine found elsewhere. However, the rooms were somewhat basic, cramped, and slightly musty and damp. The bedding wasn't comfortable, and the hairdryer was full of debris, indicating it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Many of the ceiling lights in the lobby were covered in cobwebs. In short, I wouldn't recommend it if you're particular about room cleanliness and facilities. However, those with less stringent requirements can enjoy the traditional house accommodations and delicious meals.
