"The house has a lovely small courtyard and two inner halls, all exquisitely charming. The location is superb, right next to Yueyao Bookstore, with a small arched doorway directly facing Yueyao Pond. Yet, once inside, it's a world of its own; the high horse-head walls block out all the hustle and bustle beyond the dark-tiled roofs, making it incredibly quiet. From the second-floor room, you can see a small world of neatly arranged tiles and a peaceful sky. The triple room was just right for two people and quite clean. The host also provides pick-up and drop-off service at the village entrance."

"I didn't realize how great the location was until I checked in! It's right next to YueZhuo Bookstore, tucked away behind a small door that opens up to a surprisingly spacious and charming place. It's incredibly convenient for getting around. It's an old house, but well-equipped, with two beds, so it didn't feel cramped even with an older child. Nice! ✌️"

It was incredible to soak in the beauty of Hongcun without even leaving the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a good variety – simple but satisfying. The staff were consistently warm and attentive; whether we needed travel advice or a small favor, they responded quickly and patiently. "The hotel is located within the village for which you'll need to pay an access fee. The hotel is quite modern but what we loved the most is the design of the room, it just gives a special vibe. The staff is very welcoming, they came for us at the entrance to help us with the luggages and when we left they gave us some local snacks! The only minus point might be the noise insulation of the rooms which is quite poor and we could hear the neighbors. Overall i recommend this hotel if you happen to stay in Hongcun!"

"Fabulous inn located in the lovely ancient village of Xidi. Room very comfortable and has all you need. Owner was especially friendly and keen to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. Right in the centre of the village, with everything short walk away. Note - the great location does mean that if you are getting a Didi/taxi, this will need to drop you off outside the village, however the owner is more than happy help with transporting your luggage directly to the inn, from the village entrance, if you let him know!"
