"The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are a bit dated, but when I checked in, the front desk said I could contact them anytime if I had any issues. Personally, I think it's decent. First, the location is great, very close to Six-Star Street, within walking distance. The service is also excellent. When I called to arrange airport pickup, the front desk even told us it was very hot outside and to wait for the driver to arrive before heading out."

"I stayed for 8 nights and absolutely loved every moment of it. The room was really clean and comfortable. It had a lot of space (even for me to do yoga in the room), and it had a lot of sunlight. The amount of sunlight was really important for me because I was working for about half the time there and spent a lot of time in the room. The desk made it very convenient for working. Now for the much more important part - the host was amazing. I was sad to leave because we formed a bond in the short time that we were there. She took us to the local bazaars, treated us to local delicacies, and showed us so much generosity and warmth. The food at the guesthouse is also amazing. I had many meals there because I was busy working and found all the dishes to be delicious and the portions very generous. I would come back to Yining just for this. I would be lucky if I had the opportunity to stay here again."

"It's 2 AM, and I can't sleep after writing this review in the courtyard, so I just got up and sat here. The night in Liuxing Street is so quiet, with only occasional dog barks and distant lights. The moon hangs above the apple tree. I've stayed at this hostel for three days and will be leaving tomorrow. There are some things I want to write down before I forget. First, let's talk about hygiene. I have a peculiar habit: the first thing I do when entering a room is to feel the tabletop and windowsill. And truly, it was spotless. The floor is wood-grain tile, and walking barefoot on it felt perfectly clean. The bedding was freshly changed and smelled warm, like it had been sun-dried. There wasn't a single hair on the public restroom floor, and the trash cans weren't emptied only when overflowing. What touched me most was that the cups in the wash area were placed upside down in a sterilizer cabinet, for guests to use. Yes, a sterilizer cabinet. Location: It's in an alley in Liuxing Street, but very easy to find. Turn right out of the door, and a small alley leads directly to the main street. To the left is an old residential area, perfect for aimless wandering. It's about seven or eight minutes' walk to the Alexander Accordion Museum and also to the famous ice cream shop. If you, like me, enjoy walking and exploring small alleys, this place is a paradise. There are three bus stops nearby, making it convenient to go to Kaxgar and Hanren Street. Service: The front desk staff was a girl with a ponytail, and her voice was soft. It was drizzling when I arrived on the first day, and she handed me a dry towel to wipe my hair. When I came back late at night, I found a message on the small blackboard at the entrance: 'There's yogurt in the fridge, help yourself.' I thought it was for a fee, but when I asked the next day, she smiled and said, 'It's free, we worry you might get overheated in this weather.' When I left, I forgot my power bank, and she chased me down two alleys. Facilities: The beds are incredibly stable; the bunk beds don't wobble. Each bunk has a curtain, a light, two power outlets, and a small shelf, perfect for a phone and glasses. The common area has a water dispenser (with both hot and cold water), a microwave, a refrigerator, and a toaster. There's also a washing machine that can be used by scanning a QR code. The most pleasant surprise was a small bookshelf with not many books, but a few picture books about Ali, which made me want to visit Mount Kailash as I flipped through them. Atmosphere: Unlike some hostels that deliberately force social interaction, the atmosphere here is very natural. In the evening, someone played the Dombra in the courtyard, while others just listened quietly. There was an older gentleman who had just returned from a pilgrimage, his feet still swollen, sitting on the steps drinking sweet tea, and no one disturbed him. Occasionally, people would strike up a conversation, also in soft voices. I'm sitting in the courtyard now, and the evening breeze is a little cool. The moon is bright, and I can see the shadows of the clouds. I'll probably feel a bit reluctant to leave tomorrow. But it's okay; I know I'll be back. The night of Liuxing Street, the dream of Mount Kailash, and the gentleness of this little courtyard all remind me why I'm always on the road."

"This guesthouse is a must-stay when you visit northern Xinjiang and Yining! The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they have two very well-behaved cats! The hostess even picked us up from the airport for free, prepared baked buns for us, and recommended great places to eat and visit nearby. When we left, she also gave us some food and water for our journey! The bed was really comfortable too, I wish I could have stayed longer! 😭"

"The moment I arrived in the courtyard with my luggage, a lady offered me freshly washed mulberries! The front desk staff even helped me with my bags. There are several mulberry trees in the courtyard, with purple, pink, and white mulberries, and the pink ones are the sweetest! The owner is always busy; sweeping and hosing down the courtyard in the mornings (because so many mulberries fall), and making mulberry jam in the afternoons. They are incredibly accommodating! When one of the ladies wanted to play guitar, they immediately took us to borrow one."

The newly opened Binjiang Peninsula Yili River branch in May is such a pleasant surprise! ✨ It's right next to the Yili River scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The entire place is equipped with smart home technology, the rooms are spotless, and the mattresses are exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast features local specialties, parking is free, and laundry and fitness facilities are all available. It's the perfect place to stay when driving through northern Xinjiang – the value is amazing!"

"The staff were all very friendly. The location is very close to the Yili Prefecture Passenger Transport Center, making transfers convenient, and there are plenty of places to eat downstairs. Luggage storage is also convenient, and it's easy to walk to Liuxing Street."

"I stayed in Building 2. The room was spacious but a bit old. The security chain on the door was broken, and only one of the downlights was working. The cleanliness was acceptable, though. The hotel grounds are lovely, like a park, and walking around feels a bit retro. Breakfast was decent, not a huge variety, but there were some local specialties. The security guard was great; he helped us find a parking spot and was readily available to drive us to get ice cream in the shuttle. The front desk staff during check-in were quite cold; they seemed annoyed when I simply asked what time breakfast ended. However, the person who seemed to be a manager during checkout was much more pleasant and enthusiastic."
