"We booked three rooms in total. The hotelier was very friendly. When they saw we hadn't checked in at 10:30, they called to confirm the reservation. They also provided disposable bath towels and face masks. The breakfast shop downstairs was also quite good and very convenient."

"Clean and cozy hostel. It is located in the private sector, 15-20 minutes' walk from the bus station, where buses to Almaty depart from. It is not marked quite clearly on the map - it seemed to me that it was located on the next street. Only one guy speaks English (a little), so use a translator. If you go down a little lower (10 minutes), you will come out onto a street where there are many grocery stores and catering establishments. Of the minuses: there was no European plug near the bedside socket. In the morning it turned out that the electronic key to the locker did not work. I had to wait for someone to come to the counter and get ready in a hurry. Overall, I liked the hostel. I will probably stay here again next time."

"This was a wonderful stay, from beginning to end.
The welcome we received at the desk made us feel at home, and the women there did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, and to help us with the small problems we had with our trip. I can't say enough about the staff.
The room was great, and the breakfast had all we could want, including some options for western tastes.
The location is great, 15 minutes from the six star area, and street food everywhere we look.
We were also allowed an extra two hours to wait for our flight.
All in all a great choice.

"This stay in Yining was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel took the initiative to upgrade our room type when we checked in. The room was spacious and comfortable with great lighting. The hygiene was impeccable, the bedding was clean and tidy, and disposable towels and toilet mats were thoughtfully prepared, which made it particularly safe to use. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and patiently answered all our questions. The hotel has its own laundry room and independent parking lot, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. The location is also great. The room was spotless, like it had just been unpacked; the mattress was so soft I wanted to curl up in bed; the lighting was incredibly convenient; even the bathroom fragrance had a subtle citrus scent—a detail-oriented person's dream!
- The receptionist's smile was like a ray of sunshine! Check-in was super fast, and she even gave me a lavender sachet. The atmosphere is amazing, the spirits are near and you accepted as a part of the group the moment you step into it. The host showed us the greatest noodle palace I have ever seen and it’s around the corner. There is an intense party district within 15 minutes of walking. All your wishes will come true in Kailash! Would book again and already thinking about returning in the future. 10/10 would highly recommend."

Yining was the last stop of this trip. I stayed at a homestay for the first 2 or two days, but I thought about the New Year's Eve, so I found a lively place to live. Finally, I chose the Youth Hostel and brushed it to the All-Female Youth Hostel in the Xiaohongshu. The house is very Xinjiang-style, and I went with the mentality of giving it a try. Just entering the Hela cabin, the strong Xinjiang atmosphere came, plus the weather is good, put down the luggage and start taking pictures, I like it very much.
The quadruple room was selected, the room was clean, the things were very complete (there was actually a disposable toilet pad), and the bedding was thick. Although it is heated by air conditioning, it is open 24 hours a day, and it is even a bit hot to sleep at night.
Sure enough, it’s right to choose here for the New Year’s Eve. The boss also prepared surprise hot pot and fireworks, and met the cute little girls ～.
There is also a super cute little Hela, this time to Xinjiang, the ability to suck dogs is super strong, can not bear these little friends, to leave, I hope to see you again in the summer, you have to grow up healthy!
By the way, there is also a large public area, there is a projection, you can watch movies, and you can also cast nettles.

GGuest UserThe staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure a great stay, despite limited English proficiency. They helped me get around the city, find an adapter for my European plugs, and did everything they could to accommodate my needs. The only downside was the hotel's location, which felt a bit removed from the main attractions. However, the exceptional service more than made up for the not-so-ideal location, so I would highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding customer care.

XXiaoxiehuahuaWe took a circular tour of Yili and booked Lan Yaju when we arrived in Yining on the first day. The B&B here is clean and sanitary, close to Liuxing Street and even closer to the airport. The owner also provides pick-up and drop-off. So my friends were very satisfied and renewed their subscription on the return trip😄

LLilyDThe location is a little bit hidden in an alley, however I love how it is nestled among the local restaurants and houses, you get to see how the people live on the daily basis. Otherwise the room is clean, amenities are great too. If you are a light-sleeper, it can be a little bit noisy since it is located near houses. But overall, it is a great guesthouse if you would like a place near town as a base for your travel. The owner’s daugther though..despite my limited Mandarin, she went away and beyond to help me with literally everything from booking a bus, and communicating with a DiDi driver to mail my AirPod which I had left in the car at a different city! She arranged for it to be sent to my next location which I had book prior, ensured that the postman gave the mail to me personally by phonecall. She is one of the sweetest person I have met during my solo travel to China.

BBabydollllI stayed in this hotel for a total of five days. During this period, I didn't want to leave more and more. I really liked it. This will be my favorite hotel in Yining City. No matter the hygiene, environment, service, attitude, facilities, they are all top-notch. I like it so much. The ladies at the front desk of the hotel are also very nice. I like them very much. The cleaning auntie is also very enthusiastic, so I can't find any problems. At four or five in the morning, they said that the TV projection screen was broken, and they came up to check it without complaint. Finally, they changed our room. In short, I stayed very, very happily and comfortably! Besides, direct sunlight is very comfortable 😌

GGuest UserThis was truly the most satisfying accommodation of my entire Xinjiang trip. The guesthouse is located within the Liuxing Street scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were spotless, and the bedding and towels were promptly changed. Basic amenities were complete; the air conditioning cooled down quickly, and there was even a projector, though I didn't have time to fully utilize it due to the tight schedule.
I especially loved the decor – I must commend the owner's aesthetic sense! It was very characteristic of the local area, with colorful tiles and vibrant lights; everything surprised me, a tourist from inland China (don't blame me for being ignorant, haha). These were things I had never seen or experienced before. After our visit, the owner even treated me to chilled watermelon, which was incredibly sweet and delicious. The service was exceptional; they treated us like friends, recommending sightseeing routes and nearby restaurants. I'll definitely stay here again when I bring my parents to Xinjiang.
Highly recommended for anyone who has high standards for accommodation and wants to experience the local culture!

Quick to respond to service call when Smart toilet seemed blocked. Turned out it was due to low water level in hotel's main water tank ie. no water pressure to flush the toilet. Big supermarket across the street very convenient.

When I entered the room, I saw two large beds of 1.5 to 2 meters. The main thing is that the house is clean and tidy. The mattress is a latex mattress, which is very rare. Some hotels use latex mattresses, which are extremely comfortable and improve your sleep quality. They also provide free airport drop-off service!

PPupuzhangThe owner was incredibly kind, almost to the point of being embarrassing. They helped us store our luggage in advance and even carried our suitcases upstairs during check-in. When we came back in the middle of the night, they even let us use a different room to shower, and they didn't treat us any differently just because we booked a special offer room. Their hospitality really made me feel much more positive about this city.
The inn is conveniently located not far from the entrance of Liuxing Street and also close to the bus station, making it very easy for transportation and transfers. This was especially convenient after a long day of sightseeing; being able to walk straight upstairs after strolling down Liuxing Street, even past midnight, was a huge plus.
The hallway and room have a nostalgic feel, reminding me of guesthouses from my childhood. The air conditioning and walls, however, are very new.
I could tell they take hygiene seriously from the bathroom; the cleaning supplies were very comprehensive.

Zzw630106I stayed at this hotel again, but this time, the service was quite disappointing, particularly concerning luggage storage. Upon checking in, I inquired about storing my luggage for the following day and was assured it would be possible. Yet, when I checked out early the next morning (at 7:15 AM), I was informed I couldn't leave my bags. The explanation given was that the hotel had been fined by authorities the previous evening due to fire safety violations. Adding to the frustration, an older security guard was particularly unhelpful and firm. I couldn't help but wonder how a hotel of this size could lack a proper luggage storage facility. Thankfully, a young lady at the front desk eventually stepped in and resolved the situation.
