Hotels with Parking in Berlin

"Every day, there are events you can attend to meet more people. They also have a great public area where everyone can use a laptop, which is quite good. However, I stayed for five days, and on the first day, my locker broke. They promised they would fix it the next day, but they didn't. So, I had to put my suitcase in the basement for the other four days. (The basement has a secure, automatic luggage storage system with individual cabinets, which is good.) Overall, it was a good experience to stay there!"

"Traveling around Europe by train, I always prioritize hotels near the train station for convenience. The 24-hour front desk was great for my late-night check-in. The room facilities were simple and clean. The Western breakfast was quite rich, though there were only three types of vegetables – I later found this to be typical for hotels in German-speaking areas, so it's perfectly normal! The hotel is super convenient, about 200 meters' walk from the train station. Since it's a large station, make sure you know your platform for subway travel. The hotel front desk doesn't offer free luggage storage; there's a self-service paid luggage room. In that case, it's probably better to just store your luggage at the train station directly."

"The hotel is within easy walking distance from the nearest train station. However, if it is raining, this can be tricky with suitcases. We love that the hotel is near at least two supermarkets, Aldi and Netto. The room was clean. Check in took some time but check out was super easy. We wish the person manning the check in counter can be a bit friendlier though."

"Very small room, no wardrobes, no street view, just an inside patio. they do not respect your choice of one bedding (we selected one big bed, got two instead). No refrigerator or minibar. Breakfast was ok, no ammenities (not even shampoo or gel, just one for both things) Rug was not clean, a disapointing experience overall."

"About 12 minutes walk from the subway entrance. The room is clean, large space, complete facilities, slightly poor sound insulation, and you need to bring your own slippers and toiletries. Check-in at the front desk was inefficient and there were long queues of people waiting. The staff who gave me check-in first worked on what I had at hand, and made me wait for a long time. I asked her when she could check in and she told me to wait and I missed the appointment to visit the Capitol Dome. When checking out, another staff member was very welcoming and efficient."

"First time trying the steingeberger brand hotel - the service standard turns out to be better than the other international brand hotels. Location is just a stone’s throw away from Berlin hbf, super convenient. Greeted with a smile at check-in, huge lobby area. Room is much bigger than most Germany hotels, clean, comfortable, heated bathroom flooring. Provide bathroom robes. Would be even more ideal if the hotel is able to provide water daily instead of just day 1."

"Facilities: The room was very spacious and comfortable to stay in. There was also a heater, which was perfect for staying warm in winter. The sofa was very comfortable. Environment: Turning left out of the main entrance, there are two supermarkets and a self-service laundry, which is very convenient. Kids' breakfast: Trip.com stated that children under 11 eat for free, but the hotel front desk said it was for children under 6."

"The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel. There's a supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance, which is very convenient. The downside is that the hotel is a bit old and there is some dust. The sauna is available, but you need to inform the reception an hour in advance to use it—there's no extra charge. The breakfast is delicious, especially the croissants and fried mashed potatoes, which are replenished regularly. I really liked it!"

"This is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay.   I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hanson’s and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer.   The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily.  There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed).  The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though we’re all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light.   The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.  Everything was clean.  Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.  There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.  There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.  The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.  Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again."
