"Everything was good, the only problem is that I feel that the price is very overpriced, because you arrive to a place who has no visible reception, you need to get up 3 flors in a very old building.
The photos of the room are quite nicer than the actual room, and obviously there is no photo of “the reception“

"I left after the first night and requested a refund from my booking agent. The carpet in the room was not cleaned when I checked in. The house cleaning person came when we were already in the room and we stepped out for food and she vacuumed. The room smelled like sewage. A young man poured something into the shower drain and sprayed the bathroom with an air freshener to keep down the bad scent. That did not last for more than 20 minutes. I left because a man in the reception area the night I checked in was very rude (Disrespectful) when I tried talking to him. In the end, I booked a room and checked in the next morning at the Hampton By Hilton and I had no regrets. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"First off, be aware that it's over a 15-minute walk from the nearest station. Since the streets are cobblestone, navigating with a wheeled suitcase can often be quite challenging. During the day, the area is bustling with pedestrians and traffic, and with many cafes and brand stores nearby, it's perfect for window shopping.
The building itself boasts a charming, retro ambiance that truly enhances the travel experience. The gentlemen at the front desk were cheerful and welcoming. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options and was excellent value at just 10 euros.
My room was a corner unit with a street-facing balcony. It offered a satisfying location for watching the city life go by or simply observing the sky.
However, there was no refrigerator or kettle. Also, there's no air conditioning (though an oil heater and fan are provided). The bathroom features a compact, combined washbasin, toilet, and shower area. It was, however, clean.
One notable inconvenience was the TV reception; the picture would often disappear, pixelate, or freeze. Additionally, unlocking the room door was quite tricky and took some getting used to. Finally, the elevator has manual doors, a style uncommon in Japan, which might make you a bit nervous until you're accustomed to it."

"I thought the hotel was excellent value - the room was on the small side and maybe a little cramped for 2 people, but it was totally managable. Everything in the room and bathroom worked well, except the air-conditioning did not get as cold as we like back in the USA. Small USB travel fans at night helped us just fine . The food at the breakfast was excellent, a very large variety and plenty to eat. Great coffee! I would recommend this hotel because the location is great - easy to access transit and you can walk to many museums and attractions in about 20 minutes."

"The hotel room was bright and clean. We had a double bed which unfortunately was just two beds pushed together so it kept sliding apart. Housekeeping only came one day, because we stayed in the room until 10:30. Generally the hotel is okay and clean.
The location was conveniently close to Charlottenburg Station so to get to the city it takes about 15 minutes."

"This hotel is a little far from the city central. But the tranport is convenient and I would like to strongly recommend the Kebab just opposite this hotel. It is cheap and very delicious. You can take it back to the hotel bar next to the reception with a free drink. That is wonderful :)"

"The location is perfect, with easy access to the metro and nearby grocery stores. Anyway, there was something wrong with the air conditioning when I stayed there and it was already warm in Berlin, and the receptionist told they couldn't fix it till I left. However, I will choose this hotel again next time and will consider other countries as well; we simply need to ensure that the AC and heating are operational during your stay."

The staff are helpful and courteous.
Rooms are small but adequate.
No hot pot in the room but one can get a cup of hot water from the staff at the lobby. Coffee is an additional 2.30 euros a cup.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located right by an S-Bahn station, making it super easy to get around. It's not within walking distance of Berlin Central Station, but you can easily get there by taking the M41 bus which departs right outside the station. Our family room featured a separate toilet and shower area. What was particularly convenient was that the shower area had both a walk-in shower and a bathtub with a handheld showerhead, allowing two people to shower simultaneously. The small kitchenette was a great bonus, complete with a tap for drinking water and a sink, which came in handy for washing fruit or preparing instant noodles.

GGuest UserMy lovely wife Ping and I enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express while visiting Berlin. The room was clean and comfortable. Our check in and check out was seamless, especially with the friendly and accommodating reception staff. I special shout out to Kristian whose friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, to Mane for her kindness and friendliness. Please pass on my thanks to both of them. Lastly, the breakfast was abundant and satisfying.

The room is pretty but not functional. The bottles holding soap - pumps dont work. Not just in my room but in 2 other rooms we booked. The water basin area - when you wash your face, it runs over. The force of water from the tap is so big, need to be very careful. Design fault.
My sister had a lower category room on the 1st floor, its pretty but again, not functional. The glass shower in the middle of the room leaks water out and she needed to cover the whole area with towels to prevent flooding. The water basin is so small, when she washes her face, she has to control water force otherwise it spills over the place. Design fault.

KKathy_MoonThe building is new, so the quality and cleanliness of the facilities are high. It is located in a residential area far from the city center. It is next to the railroad tracks, so you have to consider the noise. However, the unfriendly service, not the building problem, remains as a bad memory.
I clearly paid in advance, but they stopped me because I tried to pay on site. The accommodation platform said that they did not confirm the payment. Fortunately, I printed out the payment receipt, and only then did they let me check in when I showed them the receipt. The problem is that they didn't even apologize. Well, that can happen. I understand that there can be mistakes.
I paid for breakfast for 4 days during my 4-night stay. However, I never passed the breakfast restaurant properly. My room number was always missing. I solved it by talking about the missing room number at the reception the first day, but the same thing happened the next day. No, I paid for breakfast so proudly, but do I have to explain my situation at the reception every time? In the end, I was rejected at the restaurant on the last day because my room number was missing. I gave up on explaining. From check-in to check-out, I had to explain myself in this hotel to get the rights I paid for. I had to leave in a depressed mood from the morning. I don't want to go there again. If you don't expect service, then go.

AAnonymous UserI I had an unforgettable hotel experience. When I arrived, I tried to push the door open, but it was locked. There was no doorbell. Just as I was fretting over what to do, three groups of guests who had booked the same hotel tried to enter, but none of them could get in. Then one of the guests noticed a digital keypad and typed in the code from her email, but none of them could get in. Each of our groups tried their codes, but none of them could get in. As we were still fretting, the door suddenly opened, and a guest came out, allowing us all to enter. That guest explained that the hotel had emailed us a ten-digit start code and a four-digit comfort code. You had to enter the start code first, then the comfort code, to open the door. The other guests had both the start code and the comfort code, but my email only contained the comfort code. The kind guest checked my email and confirmed that it contained only the comfort code. He then called the hotel, and they said our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't paid the city tax. However, I clearly saw on the check-in voucher that the €29.90 check-in fee was payable upon arrival. The staff member on the phone later said they would email us the payment and, after payment, gave us a new start code and comfort code. After payment, we finally got a room. However, upon checking in, I discovered it wasn't the Standard Studio with Balcony we'd booked, but a Standard Studio. I didn't want to call them again to complain about the mistake; I just wanted a comfortable room. The hotel's location is convenient, about a 5-minute walk from S train station, and the room was generally acceptable.

DduguguirenVery beautiful and hidden hotel, a bit of a winding path to the ancient feeling. As soon as I entered the hotel, I began to smell the fragrance. I went all the way to the room. The cockroaches were too strong. It was better to change the name of the aroma hotel.
Even so, it exceeded expectations a lot, much better than the same level and price hotel I have stayed in the Netherlands and Belgium in the first half of the year: there is a refrigerator, the toiletries are a bit small and fresh, the room is small and complete, and the transportation is convenient.

GGuest UserHotel was in a great location just across from the metro and walking distance to the shopping street, kadewe mall and the **** neighbourhood. Hotel didn’t have AC, so I needed to open the window for some airflow and good thing the weather was cool enough and windy although it was summer. Toilet seems to be recently upgraded in recent years and was clean, although was small. Room was a decent fairly large size although it was old and bare. All in was value for money.
