"What a beautiful hotel. The hotel was full of character which we adored. The rooms were a delight, lovely decor and exceptionally clean. We hadn’t booked for dinner but the manager was very accommodating and got us in the restaurant. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast included in our stay was also delicious. We would definitely return. A much needed child free night! Thank you"

"The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic!!! The staff were so polite and helpful, the room was wonderful and the meal in the restaurant was amazing. The prison hotel has a feeling of class and luxury and then a beautiful contradiction that it used to be the home of naughty prisoners - we have nothing negative to say just going home with fond memories and some wonderful pictures!!!!"

"Very nice hotel and friendly staff. The family room size was good with complimentary drinks available in the fridge.  Location was quite close to the town. Free parking was available.  Will book again when visiting Oxford next time."

"Myself and 2 young children stayed for one night whilst visiting friends nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception team especially kind to my boys, and giving them activity packs was a nice touch. We visited the pool, which was clean. Whilst not big, it was empty so didn’t have to worry about my boys bothering anyone. Clean changing rooms. We ordered dinner up to the room and must say the children’s menu cost was really reasonable for really well portioned food. Rooms were lovely and clean. Great that the chrome cast actually worked in the room unlike some other hotels. Breakfast had a great spread for all tastes. Only downside is having to pay for parking. On the whole, great hotel and staff and would stay again."

"Great location! The hotel is beautiful, with its own estate and horse farm. Breakfast is plentiful, and the hygiene and shower facilities are excellent. Plus, there are Thames River walking trails nearby. It's perfect for a week-long stay in Oxford."

"The location is good, not too far but still need to take bus. For driving, it still charge 4.5GBP per 24 hrs. There is no catering facilities. No air conditioner, if people afraid of hot temperatures, probably not great. IHG next to it might be better choice. Otherwise, walk to opposite where Starbucks, waitress and gregg are available for light meals."

"The clerk is very friendly. The room is not big but relatively clean. It is quite far from the city. You need to walk a little to buy food. It is a residential area and relatively quiet. The shop is relatively exquisite and can be considered a British characteristic. Although it is small, it has all the necessary features. There are three parking spaces in the front and back yards, and they can also park in the one next door that also belongs to them."

"Drive directly from London Airport to the hotel. The hotel is located in a residential area. The appearance is a submit-detached house. When we arrived, there was a large truck of renovation garbage at the doorway of the yard, which looked a bit messy. Entering the room was still very tidy. It should have just been renovated and looked relatively new and clean. The house is of course an old house with a certain history. The heating and sockets are a bit old. The sockets are arranged near the baseboards of the house, which makes charging awkward. Now everyone has so many electronic devices, it is recommended that the store provide more charging sockets. We booked a family room. The room is large enough. On the ground floor, there is a floor-to-ceiling window leading to the back yard. In summer, there should be a small inner yard with a table for leisure, but we arrived in winter and the yard was not decorated. Breakfast was arranged in a small restaurant in the sun room. The food is relatively rich and the environment is warm. You can communicate with other travelers. The manager and waiter are also very enthusiastic and can do their best to help the guests. The transportation is not bad. We basically walk to the central area, which takes about 20 to 25 minutes. The advantage is that you don’t have to find a place to park, and you can also see the small colleges on both sides along the way. There are not many places to eat around, but there is a small bar about 15 minutes' walk away, which has 1 Michelin star. It is a little expensive, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is good. Students in the school are discussing business plans, which is a very university atmosphere. You can park on the roadside in front of the hotel, which is convenient. The manager let us park in the small parking lot of the hotel, which makes us feel at home. The small hotel is free and warm, and you can enter and exit with a password at night. Overall, I am quite satisfied. "Brilliant stay, room upgraded and breakfast was included which I didn’t realise.  Helpful staff, lovely clean hotel.  Bus stop 5 minutes walk away, buses are regular to the city centre (approx 15 minutes away)."

"Plenty of parking available, but if there's a home game for Oxford United in the evening, parking can be a hassle since the stadium is right next door. Breakfast includes homemade waffles and all the usual options, primarily a full English breakfast, and the coffee is excellent. The room feels cramped with a sofa bed. It's about a 15-minute drive to Oxford University or the shopping center, and Bicester Village is around 30 minutes away."
