"The hotel's location is superb! Right out of the Shinkansen, you don't even need to leave the station. Just walk south for about 5 minutes, and you'll find the dedicated elevator. The room overlooks Hiroshima Station, offering expansive views, yet it's surprisingly quiet. The interior space is decent; larger suitcases can fit under the bed. Facilities are very new, and the bathtub is huge. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious."

"Staff is very helpful from checkin. Check in is processed on machine with staff assistance. Room is big in Japanese standard. Very clean , it comes with fridge and good amenities. Location quite central and easy to get around. Highly recommend!"

"The location is perfect as it is less than 10 minute walk to the atomic dome. We are a family of 4 and we booked the large suite. Water pressure was great, space was great, breakfast was great and service was great and price point is great. Only thing I must say like other commenters is that it is very outdated and in need of updating. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling since there was no ventilation. I guess that’s why it is a very good value since it is really outdated but pretty clean. The parking is not at the hotel but a few blocks away at an affiliated parking lot but they give a special rate (¥1200 per day parking from 2pm-11am). Overall I highly recommend this hotel for the service and great value."

"Let's start with the positives. The hotel's price is very reasonable, especially for families with two children who often struggle to find suitable rooms and prices. Most hotel systems would split you into two rooms (one adult, one child), but here, you get a 30 sqm room with two beds, accommodating two adults and two children at a fair price. If you book early, breakfast for two is even included.
Every day from 3 PM to 9 PM, there are free drinks and cookies in the lobby for guests to relax and enjoy. You can even try 'Little Boy,' a lactic acid drink that's a Hiroshima specialty. The hotel is right by Nagarekawa Street, and it's not far to Hon-dori shopping street, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment.
The downside is its distance from public transportation. It's a few hundred meters walk to the tram, and getting to the JR station requires either a taxi or a bus from outside the hotel. A taxi to the JR station is about 1000 JPY, which isn't too bad. For city attractions like the Peace Memorial Park and museums, you can either walk or take a taxi directly. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine.
So, even though you have to take a taxi to the JR station every day, the room rate is low enough that it still works out to be a good deal."

"This is our second time here. The staff are always accommodating and helpful. We left our baggage to go around the city for the day and they brought our luggage to our room making check-in hassle-free and convenient. Thank you very much! "The hygiene was excellent, and the hotel facilities were complete and well-equipped. It's a shame the staff weren't smiling! The toiletries provided in the bathroom didn't live up to the Hilton brand standard. Also, the breakfast selection was a bit limited. Of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one felt significantly lacking in the details compared to local Japanese brands."

"The location of the hotel is along a main street. It's just 15 minutes away from the Atomic Bomb Dome on foot. On the way there one can pass by the main shopping street. It's also just 1 minute away from the tram station to Hiroshima Station, which is 10 minutes away by tram or 30 minutes on foot. The hotel is clean and it provides breakfast, basically bread and coffee but that's already good enough given the price paid for the accommocation."

"Good location in down town Hiroshima. Got there not too long after check in and had to wait in quite a long line to check in, they did allow you to take a number and wait in the lounge area, however it was packed and no free chairs. When we first walked into our room it smelt quite strongly of smoke, even though we had booked a non-smoking room. We opened the windows and this lessened by the time we went to sleep. Overall, pretty small and older room. What we expected from the booking."

Easy location to station; dining choices at the station are many, many. Hail taxi at station is easier than from hotel.
Exercise room was big and beautiful but had treadmill, elliptical and a floor mat and that's all. They really need to add Swiss ball, a step-aerobics step (or two), a small rack of free weights and a couple benches, and a cable tower with attachments. Would be an exemplary fitness center!
I am glad we stayed here, would stay again and would recommend to others.

KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days.

JJan LowHotel is not big. Room is not big but it is fully equipped. Room looks new n is very clean. Housekeeping though is every 4 days but they provide clean towels n trash bag in plastic bag n hang it at room door. All staff from parking staff, front desk n kitchen staff were all very friendly. English is adequately understood. Mechanical lift car park service is provided by hotel at ¥1000 per day. It was quite nervous to manoeuvre the car into the tight spaced garage. 2nd night, car was mechanically park incorrectly. This part was rather troublesome as the hotel had to call the car lift company to fix the error. Other parking areas nearby available too. Free breakfast at lobby is various types of onigiri, miso soup n 1 more soup (french onion/ mushroom). Location is perfect, short walk to so many restaurants, departmental store, supermarket, convenient stores. First time tried this hotel n it’s really good. Will come back/ will try out their hotels in other cities as well.

Facilities are well designed and guests are very respectful. I was also able to store my bike, packed in its rinko bag, without any issues. A capsule experience I can recommend.

Checking in and out was super easy with the machine and the public bath within the hotel was decent. They provide pyjamas for your stay which was lovely. Happy hour was a bonus as we got one drink with our stay which was perfect timing when we arrived. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful. Overall a lovely hotel that surprised me despite reading reviews that the rooms were small, we felt that the twin room was good for an overnight stay.

The convenience store downstairs sells alcoholic drinks, bento and other snacks at reasonable prices.
The shuttle bus is convenient but does not run that frequently so I recommend you to check it well in advance. I ended up paying around 3500 yen for taxi one way 🤣

They have a coffee machine that one can use once a day behind the staircase.
They also have breakfast in buffet style only for ¥500. I find it quite delicious, you can purchase the ticket at the counter. You have buy in advance as it might run out.
The location is very convenient its less than 5 minutes walk to the closest tram station. It is also close the atomic bomb museum. You can also borrow mama chari(bicycle) from the hotel for up to 4 hours. It is convenient for getting food or go to the peace park.
They have sleepwear and amenities you can take opposite the front desk.

SSarah H.Location ok, near the tramway, but not the nicest street. The room is very hot, uncomfortable and tiny. And it’s not exactly 2 beds. There’s one double bed and then there’s a very high and uncomfortable stepladder to reach a mattress that is very close to the ceiling. The staff doesn’t speak any English and we had to use Google translation with everyone. We were given the wrong room at first and waited 40 minutes to check-in. The woman didn’t know we had already paid for the room. Then the next day, we asked to leave our luggage before taking the train which they agreed to. And when we returned to gather them, they said they would charge us for this service as we were away for more than an hour. The staff wasn’t very cooperative or nice and wouldn’t let us leave. There is no sign or explanation anywhere about the fact that leaving your luggage is not free. It’s not written anywhere.
