Located directly opposite JR Morioka Station, accessible via an underground passage.
It's also convenient to walk along the sidewalk at ground level if you have luggage.
There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, and you can access it from the hotel with your room card.
We checked in at 2:45 PM. We had booked a compact twin room (non-smoking), but the hotel upgraded us to a larger room with three beds.
The moment we stepped into the room, two words came to mind: 'utter comfort.'
There was plenty of space with three beds, a sofa, a small coffee table, and a work desk.
The sink was outside the bathroom, with a separate wet and dry area.
There was also a clothes dryer and a multi-functional charging cable.
From the bedside, we could see Kaiun Bridge and JR Morioka Station.
Morioka Castle Site Park was only about a 15-minute walk away.
The Dendenmushi Morioka Loop Bus is also available for use.
The room's soundproofing was excellent; we could barely hear any train noise.

"We arrived late from an overseas trip but before the check in last call. Staff was friendly and thorough. The air conditioning seemed a bit weak but otherwise kept us cool. The rooms were western style, including the bathrooms and were well stocked. We didn't get a chance to eat there as we slept in until almost checkout. Beautiful place. Will likely stay there again in the future if we need another night in Morioka!"

"As expected, it is operated by JR East, so the location is good and close to the station. It would be even better if you could enter without getting wet in the rain. There was a bottle of Irohasu in the room instead of the original plastic bottles. This is good in itself.
There are also drip packs in the room, which is very good.
The room was small, but within acceptable limits."

"The room is clean and of a good size. It is very close to the station. The breakfast is also good. There is a public bathroom on the top floor of the hotel, which is very rare. When the weather is good in the morning, you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance."

"If you cross the Kaiun Bridge over the Kitakami River from Morioka Station, you'll find a large downtown area leading to Morioka Castle Ruins Park. The hotel was located on the north side of this downtown area.
The lounge on the first floor offers a welcome drink service to warm you up. Rice balls and soup are also served on weekday evenings.
This is what a standard single room looks like. It was comfortable during the cold season, with sliding doors to keep out the cold air from the windows and a shower toilet with a hot water heater.
As the reviews said, breakfast featured many dishes made with local ingredients. There was such a wide variety that I couldn't try everything. I was particularly satisfied with the local cuisine.
This was my first visit to Morioka, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again next time."

The hotel is located in Tsunagi Onsen, Morioka.
If you are not driving, the main ways to get there are the very infrequent public buses or taxis with a fixed fare (5,000 yen).
2. Nearby Amenities
Tsunagi Onsen is located in a rural area of Morioka. There is only one convenience store nearby. If you plan to go, it is recommended to buy some daily necessities beforehand.

As a hot spring hotel, this hotel has abundant entertainment facilities. For example, the hotel offers traditional cultural performances at irregular intervals in the evenings, and daytime buses to other tourist attractions in the Morioka area. The hotel's main feature is its extensive hot spring facilities, with many baths.

The hotel staff's service attitude is average. The front desk staff are not very enthusiastic, but the staff at the breakfast and dinner restaurants are quite friendly.

NNS MkmmThe service is outstanding since my first step into the hotel. The room is big like i can run around. Breakfast is great. Plenty of good food served as japanese set. Onsen is really comfortable. I went there in summer that there were not many tourists. So sometime, there was only me in the onsen. It was very quiet peaceful and relaxing
A mark for those who books for dinner excluded bundle. There are rarely any restaurant around. There is one in front of the street corner (5mins walk) but the opening time and date could not be expected. You can find something to eat from Family mart (20 mins walk).

駅からやや遠かったので立地を少しさげた。
やや古い建物であったが、部屋の中も清潔であった。
枕、加湿器、目覚まし時計の無料貸し出しや、コーヒー、紅茶のティーバックを常に提供、部屋備え付け以外のシャンプー、リンスが試せるなど、宿泊客にとってありがたいサービスが多くありよかった。
ただ、部屋のなかでWifiが使用できなかったのが残念であった。
総合的にまた出張の時は利用してもよいと思った。

Cchi-kaNaI felt that the furniture arrangement in the room was spacious. The colors were bright and relaxing.
The bathroom and toilet were combined, but the sink and bathtub were spacious, so I was happy that I didn't feel cramped at all.
The amenities were a system where you had to pick up what you needed from the space in front of the front desk.
There was a microwave and vending machines on the 8th floor, but there was no ice machine, so you had to ask the front desk for it, and there were time restrictions.
Since I was staying without meals, I can't say that the food was good, but I was very satisfied with the room for the price I paid.
However, the road in front of the hotel was very narrow and not one-way, so it could be inconvenient depending on the timing. And if I had parked in the affiliated parking lot, I think it would have been a little inconvenient to load and unload luggage.
