"We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The check in process was quick within 5-10 mins and we were given the quiet room type as requested when we booked which is great. Room is big and clean with amazing ocean view and come with your own private balcony and hammock. Shower water pressure and temperature were on point too. We were worried about the Wi-Fi due to the numerous complaints seen online but surprisingly it was great throughout our stay at the highest floor!
Fresh drinking water located the lobby with hot drinks making facility and they also provide microwave which is a bonus. Location is very strategic as well, just get off the ferry pier then walk straight up the road and within 2 mins you will find Rocamar. Supermarket (Super Aki) is nearby too, within 1-2 mins walk only. So as the restaurants, laundry services and souvenir shops which were less than 5 mins walk. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Con: They can improve on washing the towels, though cleaned but still stained."

"This hotel is located away from the city center, offering a beautiful view and is very comfortable, with a pool and parking, situated in the most picturesque part of the island. The beach is just across the way, although it's not ideal for swimming due to many rocks. The facilities could use some maintenance, but these are just minor details. I still recommend it. The service staff is very friendly, and it feels very safe. Mayaquita, a fantastic place to eat, is right on the corner."

"This hotel is perfectly okay it's in a good location in the swimming pool is cold because it's surrounded by six floors of the hotel. The rest of places I've been the swimming pools have been hot. Don't lose the hotel key cuz they'll charge you 100 pesos. They can't recommend good restaurants but the staff is okay. The room has a good air conditioner in it has a refrigerator. I would stay here again. It's not perfect but it's okay and then a good location. One bad thing is you're not supposed to flush the toilet paper in the toilet I don't like that that's gross. Whenever I did the number two I did flush the toilet paper cuz that's just gnarly gross. One more problem internet was terrible. On the TV and on my phone it was okay in my computer for some reason. TV was a bit hard work. Bring your computer because internet on my phone didn't not work very well at all and was incredibly slow."

The staff were extremely helpful when booking a tour to Chichen Itza and nothing ever seemed to be a problem.
It’s a lovely relaxed place 10 minutes by taxi from downtown.
I had a great stay, but travelled with the wrong person unfortunately. So I’d love to come back and make it the perfect stay next time. "

"We have stayed at IZLA hotel since it 1st opened so we have seen the changes of time. The Property is in like new condistion still, Staff is great. However what has changed is the nickle and dime charges and the excessove cost of thier food. It was $30 per persn for Breakfast option, yet yoy ucould order ala carte breakfast for 1/2 that. They give you 1 small 16oz bottle of water per day and they only sell Evian in the gift store for a outrageous cost, They now charge extra of you want a bali bed which sat empty the wntire time we were there. As for the propertym the room it was all stellar as always to us."

The best restaurants imo are the Steak house, Italian restaurant n the Mexican restaurant. The beach with fine white sand is clean n almost free of sargassum @ this time of the year in Dec. Good service throughout from all the hotel's staff there. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe four-day stay was very good. The only drawback was that the floor of the room was too slippery. You have to be careful. Before I checked out on the last day, it was raining outside and the floor of the room was wet and slippery. I fell twice and my foot was completely swollen. I couldn't walk normally for the next few days. Fortunately, I found no fractures after a check-up.

Because of the US epidemic, there were less than ten guests in the resort, so it was empty, and a restaurant was opened. There is a supermarket in the hotel, open from Monday to Saturday, you can buy some necessities. It is because the hotel’s own restaurant is very poor, so it is necessary to rent a car to go outside the restaurant to buy and eat back to the hotel, the hotel comes with a car rental service, car rental 46 dollars a day insurance. The restaurant outside the hotel is very cheap to eat. Basically, it costs US$100 to buy enough food for 3 days and bring it back to the hotel. Talk about the advantages. Very quiet, sea view suites have everything, microwave, stove, refrigerator, tableware, washing machine, very suitable for family living. The bed is very large and very comfortable, really comfortable! Also, the hotel is very clean. The location of the hotel is not in the 7th district, so the price is very economical.

The resort has beautiful surroundings with lots of greenery—I'd give the environment 9/10. The pool was nice, although it extremely shallow. So you can’t swim. You just stand.
There are plenty of amenities, and on paper it's an all-inclusive resort, but that doesn't mean much if the food is disappointing.
The room was spacious and clean. When we first entered, it had a very strong chlorine smell, but apart from that, it was well maintained.
The biggest letdown was the food. The “Italian” restaurant is a 3/10. The pizza was at best disappointing, the rest of the dishes were just average. The only ice cream shop is at best 4/10—completely bland. The pizza place had a waiting time of 30min. So I couldn’t try it.
There was a moment were all places were closed. So I couldn’t have an early lunch or late breakfast. So I got some fruit (ok) and some extremely unfresh and dry burger from a bar, which I couldn’t finish.
The lunch buffet was also 3/10, honestly some of the worst food I've had ever. On the other hand, breakfast was excellent (9/10) with a great variety of options.
The drinks were another disappointment. They were extremely weak. Normally, one or two cocktails are enough for me, but here I needed four or five to feel anything, which made them seem heavily diluted.
The staff were excellent throughout the stay—friendly, professional, and helpful.
One thing that surprised me was the activities. Before going to the beach, I asked about one excursion and was told it cost $80 per person. So it seems that not every activity is included in an all-inclusive package… but charging $80 per person for a boat trip to go swimming felt excessive.
For €240 per night, I expected much better food and better overall value. The beautiful grounds and good staff weren't enough to make up for the disappointing dining experience.

First I will say the good thing, the staff goes out of their way to serve you and make you have a good time, the food is very varied and tastes good and the waiters are very diligent. Now the areas of opportunity, it is sad to see how they are letting this hotel decay, the hallways are dirty, they need to be painted, the elevators are moldy and dirty. Dirty, scratched and poorly maintained walls, humidity on the ceilings and black stains. The room had a bad smell of damp and mold, so much so that it gave me asthma. In the pool, water veils or trickles in the adult area do not work.
Buy the star service, but IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! You have to be reminding the waiters and bartenders that you want premium liquor and at the pool, the STAR area is family-friendly, that is, full of children, if you are STAR but want to be in the adult area, the waiters cannot go to the star bars or take food from the STAR area, restaurants, reservations do not exist, since I arrived there was no space in practically any of the restaurants, you have to arrive by parachute and pray that they can serve you. The air conditioning was terrible, in the family lobby the air was not felt and in the Cocina Mexicana restaurant the air was damaged and it was that way for at least 2 days. It is actually unfortunate that you go in with high expectations and encounter so much neglect on the part of the administration or whoever is responsible for keeping this hotel in optimal condition, as it should be, given the name and prestige of Planet Hollywood. Ah! And to top it all off, when I checked out, a GO Pro was left in the room and although we called quickly, it magically disappeared. I'm still waiting for a response to an email that I sent at 11:30 am on July 29. Day of my checkout. In short, there are many other options, which may be more value for your money.
