Hotels in Jing'an District/West Nanjing Road, Shanghai

This is my second time staying at the Paramount Hotel. While the hotel is a bit older, its location is excellent, and it's very clean. Most importantly, the bedding is fantastic. As someone who has trouble sleeping in unfamiliar beds, I usually struggle at hotels, but I always get good rest here. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. The day before yesterday, my window wouldn't close, and a front desk associate specifically showed me how to close it, offering to send someone up if I still couldn't manage. The only downside is that this time, I'm not sure if it was the air conditioning, but there was a strange smell throughout the room. I hope they can investigate the cause. Overall, it's still a very good stay.

I booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the customer service is excellent. They even offer room service until after 10:30 PM! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor – my kids loved it! While the breakfast buffet isn't super extensive, the quality of the food is very good. The location is fantastic, right next to Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang Department Store, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. Public transport is also easily accessible. The only minor downside is that the road outside can get quite congested, especially when trying to hail a taxi. It's fine if you're not in a rush, but it can be a bit of a hassle if you're on a tight schedule.

Found a hotel with amazing value for money! The location is in a bustling area with a subway entrance right downstairs, making transportation super convenient. There are so many restaurants nearby that I didn't even know which one to choose. The room was very spacious, and the view from the window was expansive. The bedding was so comfortable; I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water pressure was incredibly strong – if you're light, remember you can turn it down a bit. The hotel's breakfast buffet was very rich and served until 10 AM. The front desk staff, Xiao Chen and Xiao Xu, were so enthusiastic! They helped me arrange my room, and even kept my forgotten items at the front desk for me. Thumbs up! There's also a large underground parking lot with plenty of empty spaces. I'll definitely book here again next time.

The location is great, close to everything. They upgraded me to a king-size bed, which was a nice touch. The hotel has a minimalist style and the cleanliness is acceptable. All the staff members were very friendly. This was my first stay at Atour, and the biggest impression was the excellent bedding. The pillows were comfortable and the duvet was silent, which is so important for light sleepers. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Very convenient downtown location. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. The service attitude was excellent! Check-in was polite and the service was thoughtful. They were very helpful and understanding when answering our questions about our stay. Facilities are great, very tranquil. The lobby has a woody scent. The room interior was clean, and the lighting was bright enough. Check-out service was also excellent. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

My stay at Campanile Jing'an Temple far exceeded my expectations. Located on Urumqi North Road, right next to the Jing'an Temple commercial area, the hotel truly offers a peaceful escape in a bustling city. The lobby exudes French charm, with a subtle fragrance and lush greenery that instantly helps you relax. The room features a unique tatami design, with a well-thought-out layout. The spacious and bright bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and they even thoughtfully provide a portable makeup mirror. The bedding was just right in terms of firmness, and combined with the fresh air system, I enjoyed a very restful night's sleep. The attention to detail in service was exceptional, from the warm sweet soup offered at check-in to the fresh fruit, everything made me feel incredibly welcome. The location is superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to Jing'an Temple Metro Station, and surrounded by numerous shopping malls, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. If you're looking for a stylish and welcoming place to stay in the heart of Shanghai, Campanile is definitely an excellent choice.

The location is decent, very close to the attractions, but the hotel staff's attitude is quite subpar; management and training need to be strengthened. We stayed for a long time, 7 nights, so requesting drinking water isn't unreasonable. On the last day, after they sent four bottles of water and we finished them, when I asked for six more, they actually told me over the phone, ”Didn't we just send four bottles? Our staff are off duty, so we can't send them until 8 AM tomorrow.” Are your staff off work at 4 PM? I mean, a bottle of mineral water is barely the volume of a kettle. Is it really that big of a deal? We stayed for a whole week, and they're being so stingy with a bit of water. The funny thing is, we even ran into the so-called 'off-duty' staff on our floor! This shows a lack of vision and generosity. They really need to improve their training and stop making a big fuss over small things; it's a very narrow-minded approach.

The location is excellent, with both the subway and business district within walking distance. The room is spacious, and there are many lifeguards at the pool, making it safe for kids to swim. The check-in experience was great, and the executive lounge service was very attentive. Transportation is also very convenient. The view from the Kunlun Window is fantastic; on a clear day, you can see very far.

1. Although there was parking closer to the lobby, the security guard at the entrance directed me to park in the opposite direction. He even asked if it was my first time staying there, and when I said yes and mentioned I had luggage, he didn't inform me about any shuttle service, especially on such a hot day. 2. There were staff members at the lobby entrance who enthusiastically helped me with my luggage all the way to my room. However, their professionalism was lacking. When I asked about the gym's location and whether it was free for guests, I was told guests had to pay. When I inquired about the price, they said they didn't know and told me to call the front desk. After calling the front desk, I was informed that gym access is indeed free for hotel guests. 3. The bottled water provided by the hotel tasted terrible. 4. The cleanliness was subpar. On the day of check-in, I found the bench at the foot of the bed to be very dirty, with small items left by previous guests. It remained dirty throughout my three-night stay. 5. The hotel gym is large and bright. It's pleasant to walk around the hotel grounds, and there are many lawn wedding setups. Other than that, the service and hygiene definitely need improvement.

The location is great! There is many food options and a convenience store just around the hotel. It is near to metro stations and the shopping belt. Room is big with plenty of space for an extra bed and all the luggage. There is even complementary fruits and coffee at the hotel lobby! There is a robot delivery to the room if you order food to the hotel. The only downside was the noise coming the construction site just across the road which starts before 8am! On some days, the noise was pretty intense. Hopefully the rooms not facing the construction site would be better.
