"The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is its lakeside location. Step two meters out the door and you're right by Lugu Lake. Sitting by the lake, sipping tea or coffee, or just staring off into space – I never wanted to leave, which is why I'm a repeat guest. We booked the family suite, which has an amazing lake-view balcony and a spacious living room with massive glass windows overlooking the lake. The room itself is very roomy, and the family suite even has two separate bathrooms with wet/dry separation, making it incredibly comfortable. I also want to commend the guesthouse's service team; the young staff drove us, proactively helped with luggage, and even brought refreshments to our room. Their service attitude was fantastic! Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and you could always ask for more if needed. Highly recommended! 👍"

"Coming here to play in spring is really great. The hotel is in Xiaoluoshui Village, right by the lake. All the flowers are blooming here, it's very beautiful, the sun is nice, and the climate is pleasant. The hotel breakfast was decent, the room was relatively clean, and the duvet and sheets on the bed were quite comfortable, and the pillows were good too."

A 'transitional option' at just 193 yuan a night for a mist and lake view king room, it unexpectedly became the most heartwarming anchor point of my entire trip, truly helping me understand the slow pace and beauty of Lugu Lake. I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning. As the car drove into the narrow lanes of Luoshui Shang Village, the outside noise gradually faded, leaving only the gentle lapping of the lake against the shore. The hotel's exterior exuded a minimalist, forest-like quality, devoid of overly commercialized, flashy designs. Instead, it felt like a small courtyard nestled between the lake and mountains, quiet and relaxing. During check-in, the staff's warmth instantly melted away my travel fatigue. There was no rigid, formalized service; instead, they greeted me with the familiarity of an old friend, offered local herbal tea, and even shared the best spot to watch the sunrise the next day. They thoughtfully marked out lesser-known walking trails nearby – every detail spoke of genuine care. Pushing open the room door, I was immediately stunned by the view. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling window directly faced Lugu Lake, the water like a crumpled sapphire. Gamu Goddess Mountain shimmered in and out of view amidst the mist, and the evening glow painted the lake surface a warm orange, with even the wind carrying the crisp scent of the lake. The room's decor was simple yet tasteful, with natural wood furniture paired with soft, warm lighting. There was no superfluous decoration, yet thoughtfulness was evident everywhere: the soft mattress and bedding felt like sinking into clouds, and there were even both soft and firm pillows to choose from. The dry/wet separated bathroom was clean and tidy, and the toiletries had a faint herbal scent, leaving me completely relaxed after a shower. The table thoughtfully provided bottled water and local specialty snacks, and even a humidifier was pre-arranged, perfectly addressing the issue of the high-altitude dryness. But the most healing part was the morning. I was awakened at dawn by sounds from outside the window. Drawing back the curtains, I saw the morning mist gently drifting across the lake like a veil, with distant islands appearing and disappearing within it. A pig trough boat slowly glided by, leaving a gentle ripple. I sat in the chair by the window, watching the sun slowly pierce through the clouds, painting the mist golden. Compared to those thousand-yuan-plus 'influencer' hotels around Lugu Lake, Anxia Mountain & Lake, without excessive marketing, gave me a perfect surprise with its genuine experience. It doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks, but rather uses clean rooms, attentive service, and breathtaking lake views to allow every guest to feel the gentle embrace of Lugu Lake. After this trip, my friend and I agreed that next time we visit Lugu Lake, we must stay here again. It's like a utopia hidden in the lake's light – not noisy, not deliberate, yet it welcomes every distant traveler with the most relaxed demeanor. "The B&B boasts an excellent location with stunning lake views from the window. The Mosuo Museum is right out the back door, offering an effortless way to learn about Mosuo culture. The front entrance is very close to Daloshui Wharf, making it super convenient to catch a 'pig trough boat'. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help. The breakfast is hearty every day, and afternoon tea and a sweet nightly soup are delivered to the room on time. I especially want to highlight that their private chef's food is absolutely delicious! I stayed in Lugu Lake for 3 days and tried stone pot fish and firewood chicken, but surprisingly, the home-style cooking at this B&B was the most satisfying. I regret not discovering it sooner! I hope future guests see my review and definitely give it a try!"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, just 5 meters from Lugu Lake with breathtaking views. The front desk contacted us in advance, and a staff member came out to greet us, guided us to parking, and helped with our luggage. When the staff found out we were leaving very early the next morning and wouldn't have time for breakfast, they immediately prepared bread and soy milk for us, which was so thoughtful. The room size was just right, and the bathroom was spacious. My family said they'd love to come back and stay for ten days to half a month. This place instantly helps you relax and unwind; it's very pleasant. The only drawback is that our room was the first one on the first floor, so anyone passing by would definitely make noise. Even at 10 PM, people were still talking in the hallway."

"It truly exceeded my already high expectations. 📍Butler Service⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Several young butlers handled everything from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea to evening sweet soup. They responded promptly to any requests in the group chat. Breakfast was a daily selection with different options (Picture 13), very plentiful and delicious; I was very full every morning. Afternoon tea (Picture 6) was also great 👍🏻. The guesthouse has its own kitchen, and the food was exceptionally delicious. Perhaps because the owner is from Sichuan, I, a spicy food lover, thoroughly enjoyed it (Pictures 9, 10, 11). Evening sweet soup was delivered to my room every night at 9 pm. 📍Guesthouse Facilities and View⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed three nights, experiencing both the family room and the double room. Both had 2-meter beds and outdoor balconies with stunning lake views (Pictures 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 14, 15). Although it rained every day, staying at the guesthouse was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The guesthouse lobby (Figures 7, 8, and 12) is decorated in a style that young people love—very fancy and pet-friendly (Figure 2). There's also free pet food available in the lobby. The front desk has coffee, various types of wine, and complimentary Yunnan tea. My three-day stay was truly a very comfortable experience. If you come to Lugu Lake, I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse. For someone like me who has always dreamed of opening a guesthouse, it was truly a dream come true!"

On a clear day, I could lie in bed and enjoy the serene views of Lugu Lake – it was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of dishes that were all beautifully presented and refined. The hotel's restaurant and public areas are stunning, perfect for taking photos. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, and the complimentary pick-up and drop-off service made everything so much easier.
