"I have to say, the service was excellent. The ladies at the front desk proactively helped with our luggage whenever we came and went, and there was a shuttle service to and from the bus station.
Every time I messaged the concierge, I received an instant reply, which was fantastic. A special shout-out to Drolma, our concierge!
The lakeside view was stunning, and there was a beautiful lakeside restaurant right downstairs.
The room was spotless, with plenty of outlets. I noticed the cleaning staff were very diligent.
Since we left early to see the morning mist, we asked the concierge to save breakfast for us when we returned late. To our surprise, they saved so much food we couldn't even finish it all!
Both our early morning fog tour around the lake and our return journey were recommended by the hotel. The driver was excellent, the price was fair, and there was no hard selling. We highly recommend the driver, Qingdu! Haha."

"This hotel boasts an elegant, comfortable, and impeccably clean environment. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the balcony opens up directly to a stunning lake view. The service was absolutely first-class; they even upgraded us for free to a room with an even better view and thoughtfully brought us afternoon tea. The hotel's breakfast selection was also very rich, and I especially have to praise the rice noodles – they were absolutely delicious! We initially planned to stay just one night at Lugu Lake, but we were so captivated by the hotel's ambiance, service, and rooms that we ended up staying an extra night! When we checked out, they overheard that our car was parked in a different lot, so they graciously drove us there in their own car (even though the parking lot was only a few minutes from the hotel). You can feel their genuine warmth and hospitality at all times. I've already recommended it to friends, and my daughter says she wants to stay here again next time we visit Lugu Lake. It's truly, truly, truly excellent!"

"A stay that far exceeded my expectations (perhaps because I had a few bad experiences with accommodations elsewhere in Yunnan before). First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Goddess Peak cable car, making it very convenient to catch the sunrise.
**Facilities:** Overall great. For the off-season price, getting a hotel with this level of smart amenities is fantastic value for money. Plus, there's a gym (though I didn't explore it much, fearing altitude sickness).
**Hygiene:** I really want to highlight this. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and I recall finding no issues with the linens on the day of check-in. Thumbs up!

"**Facilities:** The room was very spacious and well-equipped. Hot water in the bathroom came on instantly. My favorite part was the room's balcony; enjoying the lake view from there was incredibly relaxing.
**Cleanliness:** The room was spotlessly clean and didn't feel old at all; it was very tidy. Even the large glass doors on the balcony were perfectly wiped.
**Environment:** The hotel's setting was lovely, but the most important thing was the absolutely stunning scenery! The room's balcony offered direct, close-up views of the lake, with only a road separating us.
**Service:** Both the owner and staff were very warm and welcoming. They helped us with our luggage upon check-in, explained the room facilities, and reminded us about the breakfast location. At breakfast, the chef enthusiastically asked if we wanted rice noodles (their rice noodles were delicious, and so was the chili sauce!).

"Very new, the room was huge and very clean. The only downside was the lack of storage space near the sink, and the toilet seat was smart! The owner was very nice, a local, and even offered pick-up and drop-off at the bus station. She also owns a restaurant serving stone pot fish – it was so delicious and fresh! We ate there twice in two days and really wanted to stay another night! Plus, the Mosuo bonfire party in Sanjia Village is very close by. Overall, a fantastic stay!"

"There are so many B&Bs in Lugu Lake that it’s difficult to choose. After seeing this place in a certain book, I decided, it was really the right place. The boss added me on WeChat two days in advance and told me the details of coming from the airport and picking me up. I was upgraded to a room when I arrived at the hotel, which was very satisfying.
Speaking of which, the B&B here is too busy. I was amazed by the small courtyard when I entered. There were all kinds of tents, camping chairs, campers, and a boatload of meat. It's even more amazing when you enter the room. The whole room is smart and very large, with a panoramic view of the lake outside the large glass window. Compared with the concentration and bustle of Daluoshui, I prefer the tranquility of Lige. The inn boy is from the Mosu tribe. He answered all questions from the moment he made the reservation and responded quickly. The first impression was: enthusiasm! Because I wanted to live here, on the recommendation of my younger brother, I booked a chartered car and went to Shangri-La-Lijiang-Lugu Lake-Dali. There was a miscommunication during the chartering process, and we also found the inn guy to coordinate. He did not rely on their local drivers just because he recommended the chartering. He was very objective and fair in helping to solve the problem. He stayed up until midnight and was still helping. Solve the problem of the next day's itinerary and finally solve it satisfactorily! It gives tourists outside the city a sense of security and belonging.
Going back to the room, I took the elderly and my children there and booked a family room. The room was very large, with two beds, one 2 meters wide like a tatami, and one 1.8 meter bed. The room's facilities were very complete and detailed. Full of air conditioners, humidifiers, toilet covers, and even facial masks. The bath water is large and the temperature is suitable. On the day we went, it was -7℃-7℃. The temperature difference was very big. The room was not cold when sleeping at night. A few steps away from the inn is the lake, where you can take a pig trough boat ride. On the left side of the door is the Lige Observation Deck. You have to climb up, but it is a little tiring. Standing on the observation deck, you can see the whole view of Lugu Lake.
In short, this trip to Lugu Lake is worth it! Choose this inn and you won’t regret it! Share some of the scenery at the door ~ I have recommended it to friends who are coming during the Spring Festival!

The guesthouse is built right on the lakefront, and every room boasts panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. Waking up in the morning, you don't even need to get out of bed to see the mist gently shrouding the lake like a delicate veil, as traditional Mosuo dugout canoes slowly glide by in the morning light. Even your breath carries the crisp, refreshing air of the lake. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem of a guesthouse!

You can see the lake view, and the front desk staff are very helpful and answer all your questions. Actively deal with various problems. There is floor heating in the house, which makes the room feel spring-like when Lugu Lake is still a bit cold, very comfortable. The service is very enthusiastic and helps to take the luggage up and down. Breakfast includes rice noodles, coffee, milk, porridge, fried eggs and boiled eggs. The backyard where we live, and the path leading to the backyard is so beautiful, it feels a bit like a secret garden. The room is still very clean. I stayed in the double bed room. I took pictures of the twin bed next to it. I think the double bed is more comfortable. It has a tatami-like bed with two straw seat cushions. The tea table is very atmospheric. Smart toilet, the only bad thing is that there is no place to put clothes in the bathroom

SScott N MUpon arrival, hotel manager Lamu greeted us with a warm smile and told us she could upgrade us to an even nicer room to welcome us to her lovely guesthouse. The location was great, the view wonderful and the breakfasts each morning were just right (and they served you sitting, vs. having to go through a buffet line)! The decor of the hotel is stunningly beautiful with lush gardens, rustic antiques and modern amenities all complementing one another. Lamu kindly offered to help us with any local tourism or transportation needs and easily accommodated our request to add a day onto our reservation, even giving us her personal cell phone number to contact her with any needs. We will definitely stay there each time we visit Lugu Lake!
