"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, and the atmosphere was incredibly pleasant. The room, while not large, was cozy and had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy, showing the owner's attention to hygiene. A pleasant surprise was the thoughtful amenities—a private bathroom with a toilet, and a mattress that was just the right firmness for a very comfortable sleep, completely relieving the fatigue of the day's sightseeing. In short, if you're looking for a guesthouse that offers great value, comfortable accommodations, and a friendly owner, this is the place to go. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lizhuang! 🌟"

"My husband and I drove from Beijing to the Siguniang Mountains scenic area and stayed at the Shengjie Resort Hotel. Xiao Cao and Xiao Ran, who assisted us, were very enthusiastic and attentive. What particularly touched us was when we walked about a kilometer for dinner tonight. After our meal, it started raining, and there were no taxis nearby, nor did we have umbrellas. We had to call the hotel for help. Xiao Ran, who answered the phone, immediately offered to bring us umbrellas. She walked through the rain to deliver the umbrellas and pick us up. As we neared the hotel, Xiao Cao, who had just returned, drove out to meet us. We were incredibly moved by their actions. With such a customer-centric spirit, this hotel is sure to thrive."

"Location of this hotel is great - stone's throw away from the bus drop off and entrance to Shuangqio valley, and on the less busy side of things. The room was reasonable. The reason for my low rating is what I feel is low value for money. The price I paid for this hotel room is a premium for this area - around 50% to more than double the price of hotels in the area and hotels a little bit further along but with excellent amenities, luxurious fittings and breathtaking views. I planned to splurge for our single night stay here and thought the room here would be special. The view of the rive is a view, but it is not spectacular. Unlike many of the other hotels, the window isn't a floor to ceiling or wide window either. The amenities provided are minimal for the price, perhaps it is usual to this area, but compared to other hotels I have stayed in China, it didn't have a laundry room, no welcome drink or evening drink. Service was as needed - we would need to ask for information, and the answers given are efficient. I came down one evening to ask about something and couldn't find anyone at the front desk or anywhere. Eventually located them behind in the dark. This was around 9pm. The restaurant food was ok, but again, the service was as needed. They recommended the hotpot, served us the hotpot and never came back again to check on us. I had to keep walking to them to ask for things. And the staff were having conversations loudly on phones and with each other.. They actually forgot about us and switched off the lights on us. Breakfast spread was sufficient, but again, service was as per needed. No tea option possible - if you don't drink coffee or milk, your only option is sweetened soymilk. The room was fine, and the location was great. I am just more critical because we paid a premium, and didn't appear to get very much more compared to rooms we could have gotten for much less at a similar location."

"The owner and the staff are fantastic. They are very friendly and helpful. They do their best to help with any kind of question. The location is in walking distance to the center, even to the tourist center of Haizi and Changping valley (we did walk couple of times). We stayed 5 nights in total and we enjoyed our stay. We always had dinner at the hotel. We didn’t need to go anywhere else. All food was very delicious with local flavours."

"We originally booked Jinlin Building, the room was OK, but when we came back in the afternoon, the front desk lady said there was no hot water at night, and asked us if we wanted to move to the main building. Of course we wanted to move, as we hadn't showered for two or three days. I am very grateful for the arrangement of the front desk lady. It was a bit troublesome, but there was nothing we could do. We moved to the main building with better conditions, with two standard rooms in total, but one room still had no hot water, and the air conditioner was not warm, while the other room was normal. Fortunately, we were a family and were too lazy to bother. The hotel environment was good, and the room was OK. It was very pleasant to sit in front of the window and look at the snow-capped mountains in the distance."
