"What started as an accidental booking turned into a wonderful surprise! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. The food, from breakfast to dinner and even the coffee, was superb! The owner also patiently offered itinerary suggestions and helped arrange private car services to attractions and the bus station. A huge thank you to the owner and staff for their 100% perfect service 💯. You can truly feel the owner's passion for life, which is evident in every corner of the inn. "The facilities are pretty good. The bed is soft, and the air conditioning provides good heating. The hygiene is impeccable. However, the toilet flush isn't very powerful, and the soundproofing could be better. But the road up to the mountain top was really difficult – a winding mountain road. We got stuck behind a fuel tanker, then encountered a torrential downpour, and even dense fog at an altitude of 3,500 meters, with cliffs right beside us. The bus ride felt incredibly dangerous. On our way out, we even experienced a landslide right in front of us! I almost thought my life was over! We were stuck for eight hours before we could get out of the mountain.
Facilities: Adding an oxygen machine would be a great improvement. I had a few days to acclimatize in Jiuzhaigou, but growing up by the sea at zero meters and then going straight up to over 3,000 meters was still a bit challenging, making it hard to sleep at night."

"The room was spacious and bright, and came with all the essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, and disposable slippers. There was even a small water dispenser in the room, which was super convenient for getting water. It's really close to the entrance of Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, so we could sleep in a bit longer in the mornings, haha. The hotel offers various stir-fried dishes, so dining was also very convenient, and the prices were typical for an area around a scenic spot. The owner was incredibly warm-hearted and helpful! When our return shuttle was canceled due to a landslide, we called him to ask about alternative ways to get back, and he actively helped us contact the other party. He's incredibly reliable!"

"This stay was absolutely fantastic! The service was attentive and thoughtful, the front desk was friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were modern and smart (the robot delivery was super convenient). The location in the city center is great, with plenty of food and shopping nearby, and the breakfast was varied. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!"

After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with groups of friends, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"Room was very clean, there is room heating. Staff tends to be not at the counter but he is monitoring the counter via CCTV so just hang around and he will appear. Do note that there is no lift so if you have heavy luggage, better check if the room type you want is there a ground floor option. Otherwise staff will help you lug it up during check-in but during checkout you will be on your own. And oh, the hotel location itself is up quite high on the slope so if you don't drive you may have a problem... In fact I walked out/down for food and then had to navigate a fair number of steep & dirty steps back up.( If U have a weak heart, at this altitude it's probably even worse.)

"Cheapest hotel in the area. About 400m away from Changpingguo. Frontdesk is very accommodating, kind and can speak english so communication is good. However I had encountered a blackout when I stayed. Electricity isnt working as well as bed heater so it was extremely cold during my stay. Not sure if it was really blackout because shower heater is still working and hot water still coming out.."

"Since it was the off-season, the owner kindly upgraded my room from the 3rd floor to a full-snow-view room with an outdoor balcony on the 4th floor (there's an elevator). The room had a light luxury modern style with a great sense of design. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a view of Siguniang Mountain across the way, though unfortunately, there was fog in the morning so I missed seeing the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight'.
However, I did get to enjoy a delicious yak meat hotpot personally prepared by the owner. It came with plenty of side dishes, enough to fill two people, and tasted amazing with the dipping sauce. For breakfast, they had unique items like butter tea, roasted flatbread, and griddle-fried potato slices. The room also had oxygen available, and the owner was very responsive to requests. I've already recommended it to my friends!"

"The room was great. The proprietress saw that we brought the dog to arrange a large room with a large floor-to-ceiling window. The scenery after the curtains were opened was also great. It was a hotel I wanted to live in and wanted to live in. It was really good. I especially recommend this hotel. Health is also very ok, because it is a hotel that I decided to go to at night. I didn’t expect to have an unexpected surprise. The price is also very reasonable. The first time I recommended a hotel, it was really good. There was no breakfast service. The proprietress also prepared breakfast for us. With the special bacon over there, (I don’t like bacon people feel delicious), if you pass by there or play there, you can experience it. There is a suite over there, with a family, or several friends can set a suite together. Really good hotel I think it is worth recommending. When I took it away, the proprietress also presented the flowers in the yard. It was really intimate."

The owner and staff of the hotel are very enthusiastic! There is a small dam outside the room on the first floor of the second store. It is very comfortable. You can see the tip of the snowy mountains outside the window. Good luck to see Rizhao Jinshan at night! Room floor heating, electric blanket, oxygen generator are all complete 👍 Add: you can bring a little fruit snack yourself, you haven't bought it nearby!

I didn't think much of this hotel at first, but after entering it, it was really nice, clean and cozy, and most importantly, the soundproofing was great, the quilt was super clean, and the beautiful lady at the store was very welcoming and turned on the air conditioner and plugged in the electric blanket. I slept very comfortably at night, and the surrounding environment was beautiful, and the hotel had a direct view of the tourist attractions without any obstruction, which was great.

Cons: This 'smart' guesthouse fell far short of expectations. The TV in the room I booked couldn't cast, only showing cable channels, which made evenings quite boring. The room was located in the courtyard.
The soundproofing was really poor. The room door didn't have a soundproofing strip, so conversations and speakerphone calls from the courtyard were very loud. Also, the deadbolt easily got stuck and wouldn't work properly; I had to pull it out a bit to close the door and lock it normally.
Then there's the hygiene issue. The toilet wasn't cleaned properly. I largely chose this place because the photos showed newer room facilities and a clean, smart toilet. But the toilet's water outlet was full of yellow grime 😥
Pros: The owner was quite enthusiastic and actively tried to resolve the issues I reported. For example, when the TV didn't work, they provided an oxygen concentrator for free after I experienced altitude sickness. They also have their own parking lot, which is a plus.
I hope the owner can improve the room's shortcomings and continue to do better.

Guest UserI had a wonderful experience at this place! The accommodation has a beautiful view, and comes with a water heater, heated bed, and air conditioning. Everything in the room was perfectly adequate for use.
What truly stands out is the incredibly lovely staff. They were so helpful, assisting us in finding a car to Shuangqiao. On our way back, we couldn't find a return car because taxis were charging exorbitant prices. The staff actually drove to pick us up themselves, which was incredibly impressive.
The food here is also delicious! The yak meat soup is incredibly flavorful – a must-try!
One night, I fell ill and didn't have any paracetamol. The staff brought painkillers right to my room. Thank you so much for the family-like care. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again! 🙂🙂🙂

Transportation: From Chengdu, take a bus 🚐 to Changpinggou; the owner is incredibly kind and will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. If you're driving, you can directly reach the hotel entrance, or use navigation 🧭 (Siguniang Mountain Health Center). The hotel is right across the street, with parking available at the entrance 🅿️, and the receptionist mentioned there's also an underground parking lot 🅿️. The hotel has a great location; the surrounding architecture has a strong local flavor 🏚️, and the weather was amazing, comparable to Switzerland ✨, perfect for photos 🤳. Check-in was quick, and they thoughtfully provided information on altitude sickness precautions. The rooms were very clean and tidy; my room had a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains 🏔️.
Food: There are many restaurants right outside the hotel, offering local specialties (mushroom hot pot, yak hot pot, a variety of Sichuan dishes and barbecue...).
There are also several restaurants, Luckin Coffee, and Chen Duoduo (a popular online food delivery platform) that offer delivery.
Overall, it was a great experience! 😄❤️☺️☺️

The room was cozy, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. My only suggestion is to let them know in advance that the area under the mattress is also heated by the underfloor heating, as it gets too hot to sleep at night!

The location is great, across from the Changpinggou Tourist Service Center. The room has a mountain view, but there's construction going on right in front. This newly built B&B is spacious and clean, with an elevator. You can also eat in the lobby on the first floor, which is quite convenient. The owner is also very welcoming.

PraoraweeI am very impressed with this accommodation! Especially the hotel owner Take the best care possible I have never met anyone who takes care of tourists so well. There were many situations that happened to me and he was very helpful and advisable. For example, I couldn't buy a ticket to enter the park. He advised me what to do. and I lost my phone He did his best to help find him. Breakfast costs 10¥, very delicious. I forgot to ask the name of the menu, which is salty green vegetables. Really delicious. I really like it. The room is very good, clean, has a heater and a kettle. But the bathroom is surrounded by dimmed glass. It's good that I came with my boyfriend. So I'm not too embarrassed lol. This is my good experience. Thank you for taking good care of me.
