"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with rooms offering direct views of the snow-capped mountains. You can take a leisurely stroll around the hotel and discover some truly stunning scenery, including opportunities to witness the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon. The room amenities are also superb, featuring underfloor heating, a humidifier, and an oxygen concentrator. A special mention must go to the owner and staff, whose service is outstanding; they even arranged transportation for us. This hotel offers incredible value for money and comes highly recommended!"

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It was my first time at such a high altitude, and they offered lots of great advice and even gave me several glucose shots, which was a thoughtful touch. I didn't experience any altitude sickness at all during my stay. This hotel must be the closest to Cat's Nose Ridge, and if you're lucky, you can even catch a glimpse of all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain from here!"

"Big shoutout to the front desk service! They made checking in and out super efficient for our group of over ten people. They even upgraded our rooms to a higher floor for free and tried their best to get our eight rooms close together. Since we had an early start, they kindly moved breakfast half an hour earlier for us. The room view was great; we could see a snowy mountain peak, and I heard you can even catch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' phenomenon in the afternoon. Overall, highly recommended!"

"Let me tell you about our stay from a few different angles. Everyone was pretty satisfied, and we all agreed to give it a five-star review! 🏠 **Ambiance:** The room was super, super spacious! Since there were four of us, we booked a suite. It had two rooms that connected but also offered privacy, which was perfect for a group of friends. Plus, the suite came with its own private balcony. Sitting out there at night, chatting with friends and stargazing, was just delightful. 🅿️ **Amenities:** A pleasant surprise! They had EV charging stations, and the price was very reasonable. No need to go searching for a place to charge, and since it's the off-season, there was no queue – super nice! ♻️ **Cleanliness:** It was very clean. Disposable slippers, bottled mineral water, and even a bathtub liner were provided. If we needed any supplies, we just asked the friendly front desk staff. 👍🏻 **Service:** They offered breakfast, afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks. The front desk小姐姐 (xiaojie jie - a polite way to address a young woman) would ask us if we slept well, ate well, and if we needed anything. The service was absolutely fantastic! My friend had a craving for the snacks in the basket, and when they ran out, the小姐姐 even refilled them for us."

"Booked a family room for our trip with the little one, and the view of Mount Siguniang is absolutely stunning! The room was spotless, and there was plenty of hot water. The oxygen supply by the bed really helped, and my daughter slept great. All the staff at the guesthouse were incredibly warm and friendly. We also had hotpot for dinner at the guesthouse, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!"

"The hotel has a great design and is very comfortable to stay in, with excellent bedding. Plus, there's underfloor heating, so it's not cold at all. The private hot spring on the balcony is also very relaxing. Most importantly, you don't have to worry about altitude sickness. They provide a free oxygen machine, which is a big plus since I noticed many other hotels charge for theirs. Highly recommended, it's really good!"

"Stayed here during the autumn holiday and was thoroughly impressed! I was quite surprised to find such a great room at such an affordable price in this location. The room even had an oxygen concentrator, which was a lifesaver as I was worried about altitude sickness. I used it for a bit upon arrival and felt much better. The owner was very welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious and varied, with a fantastic view from the dining area. They even had two adorable dogs that would lead the way! On our last day, we also had dinner there and ordered their hot pot, which was much better than anything we had outside. I booked this for my friends who are taking their kids for spring break, and they were very happy with it too."

"Absolutely fantastic! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed delicious food. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel's location is great, with convenient parking and even EV charging stations right across the street. It's only a 4-minute drive to Shuangqiao Valley and about 15 minutes to Changping Valley. The food here is truly excellent; we ended up eating three meals at their restaurant. The yak hot pot was incredibly fresh and flavorful – the medium size was more than enough for four people. We were even thinking of ordering more dishes, but the auntie kindly advised us to eat first and said we could always add more later if needed, which was really thoughtful. Their home-style stir-fries are also outstanding. If you just stick to regular stir-fried dishes, it comes out to less than 50 RMB per person for a meal. The breakfast spread was quite generous. Before our hike, they even brewed a pot of butter tea for us to take as a supply, which was perfect for our climb."
