"This hotel is right inside the scenic area, so the location is absolutely fantastic! The cleanliness is top-notch; the room was spotless and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. The biggest bonus was the oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a lifesaver for anyone dealing with altitude sickness. Plus, you can hop right on the scenic bus as soon as you drop off your luggage, no need to go back and forth. It makes exploring so much easier and more relaxing. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!"

"Great location and atmosphere. We had hotpot at the hotel restaurant in the evening, and it was delicious with fresh ingredients – highly recommend! The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. There's a row of parking spaces right in front of the hotel. It's very close to the Cat Nose Ridge viewing platform, and only a 5-minute drive to the entrances of Haizigou and Changpinggou scenic areas. The rooms have oxygen and floor heating, so it was very warm. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend it to everyone."

"The hotel's location is excellent. We had an unobstructed, expansive view of Mount Siguniang's Yaomei Peak to the east, and Balang Mountain to the west. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The room interiors have a rustic, natural wood aesthetic, reminiscent of a ski hotel in the Swiss Alps. Importantly, the rooms are equipped with oxygen concentrators and humidifiers, both of which are crucial! The hotel's mascots are two friendly dogs and a cat. The hotel courtyard has many charming little spots for guests to take photos. The staff are attentive but not intrusive, always ready to help enthusiastically when needed. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay."

"My husband and I drove from Beijing to the Siguniang Mountains scenic area and stayed at the Shengjie Resort Hotel. Xiao Cao and Xiao Ran, who assisted us, were very enthusiastic and attentive. What particularly touched us was when we walked about a kilometer for dinner tonight. After our meal, it started raining, and there were no taxis nearby, nor did we have umbrellas. We had to call the hotel for help. Xiao Ran, who answered the phone, immediately offered to bring us umbrellas. She walked through the rain to deliver the umbrellas and pick us up. As we neared the hotel, Xiao Cao, who had just returned, drove out to meet us. We were incredibly moved by their actions. With such a customer-centric spirit, this hotel is sure to thrive."

"Highly recommended! The hotel is in a fantastic location near Changping Valley, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and the food street within walking distance. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated in a Japanese style, and very comfortable. We especially loved the private hot spring, which was a wonderful way to unwind after exploring the area. The hotel also provides complimentary transportation to Shuangqiaogou and other nearby attractions, making travel very convenient. The free breakfast was delicious as well. Although there is no air conditioning and it felt a little warm for us as Malaysians, everything else was excellent. The price is slightly higher than average, but the overall experience made it absolutely worth it."

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"Absolutely fantastic! We were upgraded to their second property within the scenic area on the day of booking. Coincidentally, it was also the owner's annual staff dinner, and our family of three was honored to be invited. We arrived just in time for a stunning sunset over the golden mountains. The guesthouse is beautiful with great attention to detail. Our family of three pushed the tatami mats together, creating a perfectly spacious bed. They even prepared lots of snacks for our child, and more snacks upon departure. This was by far the best hotel experience we had during our trip to Western Sichuan."

"Avoid the peak season and friends to punch in Siguniang Mountain, set Changpinggougougou Fangyuan Li 3300 French Mountain Residence, the location is excellent, it is very convenient to go to the scenic spot. Although it is a new store, the overall is well maintained. The butler service is online throughout the whole process, and the parking lot is answered. The large luggage is actively helped to carry. There are Hada, hot tea, welcome fruit and afternoon tea. The details are very warm. Staying in the viewing pool twin room, floor heating, oxygen supply equipment, highland living comfort is full, toiletries are branded, Dyson hair dryer is a plus. The room has a good view, the private soup pool viewing experience is excellent, clean and quiet, whether it is a friend or a small couple to travel, the overall stay experience is full, highly recommended!"

"We were a group of three adults and one child, and the room was spacious enough for all of us. The balcony faces the mountains, and both windows in the room offer stunning mountain views – waking up to that was incredibly refreshing. Although it's a bit of a distance from the town, it actually made it very peaceful. We arrived around 7-8 PM and were pleasantly surprised to still get a hot yak hotpot, which was very comforting. The breakfast rice noodles and multigrain options were absolutely delicious."

"This hotel was a last-minute, blind pick since I decided to go on a trip spontaneously, and I didn't even check the ratings or anything. I arrived at 3 AM, and the guy at the front desk, who was supposed to finish his shift at midnight, waited for us until past 3 AM. I felt so bad! The room had all the amenities, and the sunlight was fantastic the next morning. In the morning, a lady even made us coffee and recommended some tourist routes. The service was absolutely perfect!!!!"
