The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they anticipate your needs and go above and beyond, with warmth in every detail. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the cured pork rib hotpot for dinner is incredibly fresh and tasty. It's an absolutely perfect experience!"

"The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It was my first time at such a high altitude, and they offered lots of great advice and even gave me several glucose shots, which was a thoughtful touch. I didn't experience any altitude sickness at all during my stay. This hotel must be the closest to Cat's Nose Ridge, and if you're lucky, you can even catch a glimpse of all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain from here!"

"Big shoutout to the front desk service! They made checking in and out super efficient for our group of over ten people. They even upgraded our rooms to a higher floor for free and tried their best to get our eight rooms close together. Since we had an early start, they kindly moved breakfast half an hour earlier for us. The room view was great; we could see a snowy mountain peak, and I heard you can even catch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' phenomenon in the afternoon. Overall, highly recommended!"

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"The location is excellent, right next to Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area. The first thing they did upon check-in was give us a bunch of snacks and New Year's red envelopes, which really made us feel special! The hotel has heating, and the breakfast price was very reasonable, even during the New Year period. Most importantly, the WiFi was decent enough to play Delta Force!"

"Next time I visit, I'm definitely staying here again! The hotel's location is fantastic, very convenient for parking, and just 200 meters from the scenic area entrance. The lobby is simple yet grand, and the rooms are bright, airy, clean, and free of any strange odors. The mattress firmness was just right, ensuring a great night's sleep. There's plenty of hot water with strong pressure, and even oxygen supply for the high altitude, which is a great bonus. The staff are polite, friendly, and quick to respond; they were always ready to help with luggage when I came and went. Breakfast offered a wide variety and tasted good. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and it offers great value for money. It's my top choice for business trips and travel. The room layout is spacious and bright, with a minimalist yet high-end design and thoughtful details. The linens were soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and it was quiet and peaceful. The meticulous service truly enhanced my stay. This is a quality hotel worth returning to."

"Booked a family room for our trip with the little one, and the view of Mount Siguniang is absolutely stunning! The room was spotless, and there was plenty of hot water. The oxygen supply by the bed really helped, and my daughter slept great. All the staff at the guesthouse were incredibly warm and friendly. We also had hotpot for dinner at the guesthouse, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!"

"The hotel is very close to the scenic area, and the service was excellent and thoughtful! The staff member was very patient in showing me the room, and our requests for extra bottled water and other amenities were promptly delivered! They even gave us a departure gift when we left! The experience was fantastic! The hotel has charging stations in its courtyard, which was convenient as I drove an electric car and charged it there. We watched a movie in the room, and the audio-visual quality was quite good. We stayed in a private onsen room, and the private bath was very clean with excellent water quality. We were also able to adjust the air conditioning to our liking. Overall, the entire experience was wonderful!!"

"We chose this hotel for the Chinese New Year in 2026, primarily for convenient access to Changping Valley for hiking and to enjoy the full panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain right from our room's floor-to-ceiling window. The owner was very hospitable, offering complimentary round-trip shuttle service to Changping Valley scenic area. For Shuangqiao Valley, the hotel can also arrange car-sharing. The New Year's Eve dinner, an RMB 188 yak hotpot set, was delicious. We were incredibly lucky to witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain' sunrise over Siguniang Mountain from the hotel's rooftop!"

"The room was very clean and well-lit, and it was tidied up perfectly. The surroundings are great, with many small shops and mini-marts nearby, making it convenient for buying things. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and proactively asked about my well-being, even offering to help with my luggage. For those who enjoy hiking, this is a great place to stay as it's very close to Changpinggou, just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance. I picked this hotel randomly and it definitely didn't disappoint; it's really good!"
