"We were on a family road trip and expected to arrive at the hotel around 11 PM. We contacted the owner beforehand to see if they had dinner options, but since it was late and all the surrounding restaurants were closed, including the hotel chefs, the owner kindly cooked for us. He prepared several dishes, which were delicious, reasonably priced, and very generous in portion size. The owner also thoughtfully prepared some white fungus soup for us, which helped relieve the fatigue of the six-hour drive. Everyone in our group praised it highly, saying it was the most satisfying meal of our Yunnan trip. The guesthouse paid great attention to detail – a truly warm and welcoming place! We wish the owner great success in their business!"

"Excellent value for money! The location is very close to the Duoyishu viewing platform, and the guesthouse is right on foot, leading directly to the fields. The balcony view is amazing (the picture is a real photo of the view from the balcony). The owner and the young man were very welcoming; he explained hiking routes. Breakfast was simple but included the essentials: eggs, milk, and coffee. The room had an electric blanket, air conditioning, and good hot water. Considering the price and service, I would definitely go again."

"Checked in on the 2nd. It was foggy on the way here. I didn't see the sunrise on the second day, but I could see the sunrise today. This B&B has a great location for watching the sunrise. It is located next to the mountain. I feel that the owner may be an art major. There are many windows, and the opening position has the effect of a framed mirror. There is a small tea room on the top floor with glass on all four sides. It is an excellent sunrise viewing room. It has a different feeling. Trout and begonias are raised in the house. There is a small tea table and tea sets by the window in the house. The quilts are also relatively comfortable. The price-performance ratio is very high. There are not many people at this time of year. I think the rice will grow more beautiful in July and August. The staff here carry the luggage up and down, which is still quite hard. "The room is very spacious and very clean. I stayed with my child. The standard room also has a letter bed design. The bed is against the wall and I don't have to worry about the child falling off when I sleep at night. The environment of the restaurant is also very good. The window next to the sofa table is the best spot to take pictures of the beautiful scenery without going out. The housekeeper took us to experience the fish catching activity. The children had a great time. The chef helped process the caught fish and made it delicious. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip. "Wow, you have such a wonderful guesthouse in China!
The room environment, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. Thanks to Honghe Prefecture, which isn't yet highly commercialized, I was able to stay in a guesthouse with a view comparable to a thousand-yuan guesthouse for under 400 yuan.
The guesthouse owners (doge emoji) are three young men who are warm, gentle, and kind.
They provide free red rice noodles for breakfast. We also get to drink the owners' homemade coffee. They even wash, dry, and deliver my clothes to my room.
Overall, a fantastic experience! I would sincerely recommend it to my friends!

"I had a truly great experience staying here one night! I arrived late but was invited to join a dinner party with friendly staff and other guests. The view from the room was absolutely stunning and the room itself was clean and modern. Maybe not the best sound isolation, but you will want to go up to see the sunrise anyways! I definetely recommend staying here in this old and small village rather than in Yuangyang or similar."

"I heard that coming to Yuanyang to see the terraced fields requires fate. The terraced fields in this season are shrouded in clouds and mist, sometimes clear and sometimes foggy. I was lucky to see the Azheke terraced fields, which are really beautiful. You can see the beauty of the terraced fields from the room. The balcony on the roof of the homestay has the best visual effect. The owner is hospitable and attentive. He gave us terraced red rice, there is a parking lot, and there are waiters who pick us up. They don't understand Chinese and have never been to school, but they are very simple and kind. In short, the experience is quite good. It is three to five minutes away from the Azheke ancient village. The Azheke mushroom house can be seen from the roof of the homestay. It is beautiful and worth recommending."

"The room was exactly as pictured. The owner's daughter even upgraded us to a room with a large bay window. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and most importantly, it had that huge floor-to-ceiling window I'd been longing for. I managed to capture some photos before the fog completely blocked it out. If it weren't for the fog, it would have been a wonderful place to have tea, chat, and admire the rice terraces. It was exactly the kind of place I wanted in such a unique scenic area where I could get up close to the rice terraces. Also, the basement of this guesthouse is a real gem, with a huge grill, a projector, and a bar. It's perfect for gathering around a fire, enjoying drinks, and chatting. The auntie also cooked breakfast for each of us early in the morning—clean, comforting, and warming. Very satisfied."

The electric blanket wasn't working at first, but the owner immediately replaced it with a new one the next day. The water heater was excellent, and hot showers were a lifesaver during the cold snap.
The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, personally attending to everything with loving care and a passion for life. The guesthouse had a cozy atmosphere. We couldn't see the rice terraces due to the cold wave and heavy fog, but experiencing the Hani culture and customs during Chinese New Year was an even more unique and valuable experience than just sightseeing.

HHezihzYiqiutian Inn was newly opened in August last year. The facilities are very modern and the decoration is also good. It is especially clean and hygienic. The proprietress and the boss are very enthusiastic and responsible. They helped us upgrade the view room so that we can see the terraced fields outside from the room. They came and went to help us carry our suitcases upstairs. When we left, they also enthusiastically gave us red rice. They responded to our needs in a timely manner and provided relevant information about going out to see the terraced fields, which saved us from unnecessary detours. It was a very good stay experience. The Yuanyang Terraces are really beautiful and this trip is very worthwhile. Thanks to the boss and the proprietress for their enthusiastic service. The dishes cooked by the proprietress are also very tasty.

1103617****The hotel has parking available about 400 meters away up a small hill. If you call, someone will come to help with your luggage. Since the twin rooms were fully booked, my friend and I reserved a triple room. It was very spacious with fantastic floor-to-ceiling windows! The bathroom wasn't separated into wet and dry areas, which I wasn't a fan of. However, I noticed this was only the case for the triple room; the double room next door had a separated bathroom. Also, the soundproofing wasn't great; we could clearly hear conversations and laughter from the next room, showering from upstairs, and people walking by in the hallway. Despite that, I still really liked the location. From the room and the rooftop terrace, you get unbeatable views of the Duoyishu Rice Terraces. I hope things continue to improve!

SstevechanThe guesthouse is located right next to Yishutian Rice Terraces and has its own parking lot. Staff will pick up your luggage after parking, but you'll need to walk down a flight of stairs to reach the guesthouse. There are no signs at the entrance, so it can be difficult to find without someone guiding you. The rooms are spacious with fantastic views; you can watch the sunrise and overlook the beautiful rice terraces from the balcony. The room facilities are of high quality, and the restaurant staff are excellent cooks—the braised fish is particularly delicious and reasonably priced. The Chinese breakfast rice noodle set is also excellent, and you can enjoy the beautiful sea of clouds. There's a washing machine on the rooftop for self-service laundry, and you can even fly a drone to capture stunning photos of the clouds. Although the hotel is pricey, all of this makes it worthwhile!

Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

TToushangdaihuadebawanglongThe twists and turns of the mountain road couldn't stop our craving for the scenery. It was already dark when we arrived here. The store received us very warmly and took the initiative to carry our suitcases to the room. There is a serious traffic jam at the viewing platform during peak hours, and there is a charge of 10-20 yuan for parking at the farmhouse. The inn is less than 1 kilometer away from the Duoyishu viewing platform, and you can get there just by taking a walk in the morning. After watching the sunrise, we came back for breakfast. It was a very delicious and big bowl of red rice noodles. The restaurant downstairs is run by a family, which is harmonious and friendly. When they left, the children had become good friends with the restaurant's youngest daughter.

GGuest UserSTRONG ADVOCATE: Our stay here was flawless. The kind hospitality from the hosts and the Hani family is truly heart warming. Beautiful views over expansive rice terraces, and the access to walk down into these from your doorstep is truly unparalleled. We sought to do a guided day tour across a few villages on a Saturday with the host, which proved to be incredibly insightful, fluid (responsive to our interests), and capacious. She was able to bring to life much of the content at the Hani Cultural Museum. We ate wonderful home cooked meals here, and caught some lovely dawns; altogether felt truly nurtured - thank you! I truly, whole-heartedly recommend this guest house!
