Munich Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"This family room is really big - 2 rooms linking together, each room has 1 bathroom as well. Came to hotel a little early after long haul flight - although need to wait for nearly an hour staff were friendly and tried to arrange cleaning the room quickly. Breakfast were good with variety of choices. 5 minutes walk from Messestadt West Metro station and a big shopping mall with many restaurants and supermarkets next to the station. My daughters were happy with the stay."

As a client, As a person.they should be well treated.After 17 hours flight to German.I think anyone who gave others a terrible feeling Should feel shamed. "A simple and decent hotel in the central Schwabing area, near Münchner Freiheit. A pleasant walk into the centre from there and very close to the beautiful Englischer Garten. Rooms are cleaned every other day (which I like). Prices vary significantly based on major events in town, when it’s a low/average price period this hotel is quite good value for money."

"It was very close to Nymphenburg Palace, so I chose this one. It was built in 1986 (the weather vane of the roof can see the year). It was converted from a residential building, so there is no air conditioning (no German air-conditioned residential buildings). The room is small, with a fan, a small fridge and no electric kettle. If you have large luggage or a large guest, you may feel that the room is too small and it is not convenient to turn around. The room is decorated in a retro style, the wardrobe is made of logs and the bed is a copper bed. The bathroom is also small. Although I live on the first floor, I am curious that the water pressure in the shower is still not stable. When the shower is open, the water flow is hot and cold, and the adjustment to the middle is more stable but not too hot (it seems to need fine adjustment). The hotel itself is in a residential area, so it takes a few streets to walk through the S1 (Laim station) or the tram 16/17 and the bus 51. There are edeka supermarkets around 7 or 8 minutes from the hotel. It is only a 5-minute walk from Nymphenburg Palace, and it is a good choice to spend the weekend there. The nearby Michelin restaurant schwaige nymphenburg is also great, and it is often full at dinner. Due to the residential area, the surrounding environment is very quiet, but the sound insulation of the room is not very good. The anteroom and restaurant are very nice and breakfast may be available at an extra charge. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good, whether it is the front desk, the boss or the cleaning aunt is very friendly. Special thanks to the proprietress, who is in urgent need of rushing to the airport but can't find a taxi (German tram bus strike), and the peers are still ankles, they are willing to drive us to S1 station, and take the initiative to help us to smash our big bags. "Just next to the famous Hofbrahaus, steps away from Hard Rock Cafe, and a short walk to Marienplatz and to Viktualien Markt. If you like the liveliness of the merry drinkers at night, you can hear them clearly, even up from the higher levels. Otherwise, try to ask for a room that’s not facing Hofbrahaus. They have a nice “spa” room on Level 5 featuring herbal/floral tea and communal/complimentary Epone skincare products. Drinks in the fridge are free too but they don’t top it up unless you request for it and even then, they only top up the non-beer types. Could do better on this front, Platzl Hotel.. service is alright, staff are generally friendly"

"Free hotel shuttle provided by Airparks. At Terminal 2, follow the signs that say 'Bus/Hotel Shuttle' and head towards the Bus Terminal, Stop #11. The buses run at xx10 hrs, xx30 hrs and xx50 hrs. It makes a stop at Terminal 1 before heading to the hotels. It actually stops at a big car park building 2 mins walk from the hotel. You'll see the hotel before it turns in and alights passengers at Airpark's holding area. Then it's a short walk across the road to the hotel where you enter from the back of the hotel. Simple room, good for one, might be a squeeze for 2 persons with big luggages. No wardrobe, just open hanging hooks which is great too. No mini fridge but basic shower amenities are provided except toothbrush/toothpaste. Bed and pillows is a little too soft for my liking. Quite expensive for a one night stay, especially for me, it was just 10 hrs literally - to shower and sleep. There's a bus stop a few mins walk from the hotel where you can hop on a direct public bus for €4.10 (cash only, no change given, runs every 15 mins or so) or pay €10 for the Airparks shuttle (runs every 20-30 mins) back to the airport."

"I am not familiar with Munich. So I made book in a wrong hotel. I thought this hotel is located next to Alstad. In fact it's located in Munich neighborhood called Scwabing. My Mom has Osteoarthritis knee pain. So she can't walk too far. The hotel refused to cancel for free since we booked non modified reservation. This hotel is okay. But not for old people there is no kettle, no refrigerator, no tea, coffee, no shower cap. Hotel also didn't prepare shampoo for us. Design is okay but too simple. Location is not at Alstad and it's too expensive overprice for hotel located on Scwabing"
