Munich Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"I stayed here during a business trip. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the exhibition center, and there's a large mall nearby with plenty of dining options. However, the hotel itself is quite old and the facilities are outdated. Plus, they don't offer any room service, which makes it terrible value for money. If the price were lower during exhibition periods, it would be an acceptable option overall."

"Upon arrival, we were given a gift voucher to use at the restaurant. The room and bathroom were very clean. The double bed was comfortable, with two sets of different types of pillows and a cushion. We also found two small packets of gummy bears as a courtesy. The room had a minibar, some glasses, and a bottle opener. A nice touch was the shoe cleaner and sewing kit; in addition, the bathroom provided cotton swabs, cotton pads for makeup removal, and body lotion. The only drawback is the column next to the bed, which is annoying, but manageable."

"It was very close to Nymphenburg Palace, so I chose this one. It was built in 1986 (the weather vane of the roof can see the year). It was converted from a residential building, so there is no air conditioning (no German air-conditioned residential buildings). The room is small, with a fan, a small fridge and no electric kettle. If you have large luggage or a large guest, you may feel that the room is too small and it is not convenient to turn around. The room is decorated in a retro style, the wardrobe is made of logs and the bed is a copper bed. The bathroom is also small. Although I live on the first floor, I am curious that the water pressure in the shower is still not stable. When the shower is open, the water flow is hot and cold, and the adjustment to the middle is more stable but not too hot (it seems to need fine adjustment). The hotel itself is in a residential area, so it takes a few streets to walk through the S1 (Laim station) or the tram 16/17 and the bus 51. There are edeka supermarkets around 7 or 8 minutes from the hotel. It is only a 5-minute walk from Nymphenburg Palace, and it is a good choice to spend the weekend there. The nearby Michelin restaurant schwaige nymphenburg is also great, and it is often full at dinner. Due to the residential area, the surrounding environment is very quiet, but the sound insulation of the room is not very good. The anteroom and restaurant are very nice and breakfast may be available at an extra charge. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good, whether it is the front desk, the boss or the cleaning aunt is very friendly. Special thanks to the proprietress, who is in urgent need of rushing to the airport but can't find a taxi (German tram bus strike), and the peers are still ankles, they are willing to drive us to S1 station, and take the initiative to help us to smash our big bags. "Very convenient location, it is near all the shopping area and Marienplatz. Approx 30 mins Uber ride from Munich airport to this hotel. Rooms are clean and simply designed but for the price and location it is worth it! Pfistermühle restaurant which is right beside Platzl Hotel is amazing too! Food is superb, highly recommend the steak and truffle pasta."

"Free hotel shuttle provided by Airparks. At Terminal 2, follow the signs that say 'Bus/Hotel Shuttle' and head towards the Bus Terminal, Stop #11. The buses run at xx10 hrs, xx30 hrs and xx50 hrs. It makes a stop at Terminal 1 before heading to the hotels. It actually stops at a big car park building 2 mins walk from the hotel. You'll see the hotel before it turns in and alights passengers at Airpark's holding area. Then it's a short walk across the road to the hotel where you enter from the back of the hotel. Simple room, good for one, might be a squeeze for 2 persons with big luggages. No wardrobe, just open hanging hooks which is great too. No mini fridge but basic shower amenities are provided except toothbrush/toothpaste. Bed and pillows is a little too soft for my liking. Quite expensive for a one night stay, especially for me, it was just 10 hrs literally - to shower and sleep. There's a bus stop a few mins walk from the hotel where you can hop on a direct public bus for €4.10 (cash only, no change given, runs every 15 mins or so) or pay €10 for the Airparks shuttle (runs every 20-30 mins) back to the airport."

"Our stay was great from the start to the end. It was our fifth anniversary with my wife and we decided to make a trip to Munich and stay at Hotel Torbraeu. When we were in the lobby the staff was very friendly and celebrated our anniversary. When we go into the room there was a little note and a little surprise waiting for us. It was really kind. The breakfast was really good. I definitely suggest that you get a room with breakfast included. Lots of choice and the taste was delicious. There is an italian restaurant next to the hotel and you can try their food for dinner. Absolutely delicious. The location is also in the heart of Munich. You can walk to every touristic place. There is parking space just outside the hotel. It is really convenient and the price is 25 euro per night."

"We booked this hotel for 2 nights. The room is adequate, spacious with a large bed. It has a separate shower and toilet, which does not interfere with the use of them by different people at the same time. As for location, there are bus stops nearby with connections to the metro or tram, which is appreciated if you do not want to spend a lot of money on taxis. The reservation included breakfast. It must be said that breakfast leaves a little to be desired given the gastronomy that we Spaniards have, a very touristy buffet but with variety."

"I am not familiar with Munich. So I made book in a wrong hotel. I thought this hotel is located next to Alstad. In fact it's located in Munich neighborhood called Scwabing. My Mom has Osteoarthritis knee pain. So she can't walk too far. The hotel refused to cancel for free since we booked non modified reservation. This hotel is okay. But not for old people there is no kettle, no refrigerator, no tea, coffee, no shower cap. Hotel also didn't prepare shampoo for us. Design is okay but too simple. Location is not at Alstad and it's too expensive overprice for hotel located on Scwabing"
