Munich Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"It was very close to Nymphenburg Palace, so I chose this one. It was built in 1986 (the weather vane of the roof can see the year). It was converted from a residential building, so there is no air conditioning (no German air-conditioned residential buildings). The room is small, with a fan, a small fridge and no electric kettle. If you have large luggage or a large guest, you may feel that the room is too small and it is not convenient to turn around. The room is decorated in a retro style, the wardrobe is made of logs and the bed is a copper bed. The bathroom is also small. Although I live on the first floor, I am curious that the water pressure in the shower is still not stable. When the shower is open, the water flow is hot and cold, and the adjustment to the middle is more stable but not too hot (it seems to need fine adjustment). The hotel itself is in a residential area, so it takes a few streets to walk through the S1 (Laim station) or the tram 16/17 and the bus 51. There are edeka supermarkets around 7 or 8 minutes from the hotel. It is only a 5-minute walk from Nymphenburg Palace, and it is a good choice to spend the weekend there. The nearby Michelin restaurant schwaige nymphenburg is also great, and it is often full at dinner. Due to the residential area, the surrounding environment is very quiet, but the sound insulation of the room is not very good. The anteroom and restaurant are very nice and breakfast may be available at an extra charge. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good, whether it is the front desk, the boss or the cleaning aunt is very friendly. Special thanks to the proprietress, who is in urgent need of rushing to the airport but can't find a taxi (German tram bus strike), and the peers are still ankles, they are willing to drive us to S1 station, and take the initiative to help us to smash our big bags. "A simple and decent hotel in the central Schwabing area, near Münchner Freiheit. A pleasant walk into the centre from there and very close to the beautiful Englischer Garten. Rooms are cleaned every other day (which I like). Prices vary significantly based on major events in town, when it’s a low/average price period this hotel is quite good value for money."

"Value for business trip. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Takes 10-15 mins shuttle bus to/from Munich airport and hotel. Overall, a good experience in the stay."

"A nice hotel, but the two bedroom is not really a two bedroom. It's more like a one bedroom plus the living area converted into the second sleeping area. I find the ”two bedroom” room type too squeezy for 4 pax. We cannot even eat together on the same table, no table space and not enough chairs. Also, although there is a lift, our floor is not at the lift landing, it's in-between the lift landing, so for those carrying big luggage, it was tedious, not recommended. Otherwise, the room facilities are good, the location is great. They also allow us to leave our luggage there while waiting for check-in, so that is nice too."

"Just next to the famous Hofbrahaus, steps away from Hard Rock Cafe, and a short walk to Marienplatz and to Viktualien Markt. If you like the liveliness of the merry drinkers at night, you can hear them clearly, even up from the higher levels. Otherwise, try to ask for a room that’s not facing Hofbrahaus. They have a nice “spa” room on Level 5 featuring herbal/floral tea and communal/complimentary Epone skincare products. Drinks in the fridge are free too but they don’t top it up unless you request for it and even then, they only top up the non-beer types. Could do better on this front, Platzl Hotel.. service is alright, staff are generally friendly"

"The hotel is in a quiet community, the entrance is a bit small, so it is easy to miss the entrance by car, but after entering, I feel that the environment and parking lot are good. "I am not familiar with Munich. So I made book in a wrong hotel. I thought this hotel is located next to Alstad. In fact it's located in Munich neighborhood called Scwabing. My Mom has Osteoarthritis knee pain. So she can't walk too far. The hotel refused to cancel for free since we booked non modified reservation. This hotel is okay. But not for old people there is no kettle, no refrigerator, no tea, coffee, no shower cap. Hotel also didn't prepare shampoo for us. Design is okay but too simple. Location is not at Alstad and it's too expensive overprice for hotel located on Scwabing"
