"I had a great stay at EcoHotel, the staff were so friendly when I arrived. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The pillows were particularly good, the room on the ground floor was quiet and I had a great nights sleep. The aircon worked well and wasnt too loud. Good pressure and hot water in the shower and lovely scented soap and shower gel. The locartion was easy to get to being near the metro stop, and I got into Duomo very quickly in the morning. Check in and out was super easy. I didnt try the food or the bar. Cant fault it at all for the price I paid."

The service was excellent — the staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. "My stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a great, safe neighborhood with excellent transport links. The metro is just a short walk away, and from there it’s only about 15 minutes to the city center. It also takes just 15 minutes by tram to reach the train station. To enter the hotel, you need to ring the intercom, and the door will be opened for you immediately. Then go straight to the second floor, where you’ll find the hotel reception desk. Conveniently, a Carrefour supermarket is literally a 2-minute walk from the hotel and open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM — perfect for picking up anything you need. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Check-in was smooth and fast, and I was able to get my room by 2:00 PM. They also gave me a map of Milan with all the main attractions marked and tips on how to reach them quickly. My room was very comfortable — equipped with a bed, wardrobe, hairdryer, safe, private toilet and shower, shampoo, soap, and air conditioning. I stayed on the 5th floor, and it was absolutely delightful to wake up in the morning, open the clear balcony doors, and enjoy the view. On the same floor, there was a restaurant where breakfast was served for €15. Convenient time 7:00-10:00. A huge thank you to all the hotel staff — such warm and helpful people. I would gladly stay here again."

"This is my second time staying at the Castle Hotel. It is located near Milan Cathedral and is quiet in the bustle. The breakfast is affordable and the room is clean and hygienic. During this period, Ctrip customer service perfectly solved the problem. Thumbs up to Ctrip customer service."

"It seems that small rooms are a common characteristic of hotels in Europe. As a standardized hotel, it's clear that this Ibis is quite old, though the management appears to be organized. First, the room was small, and second, the bathroom facilities, like the hairdryer, were extremely outdated. The staff's attention to detail was average. And no, there wasn't the legendary Italian 'smiling service' – they were rather aloof."

Overall, it was a very good experience, though there were a few minor details I hope they improve. 📍 Location: The hotel's location is super convenient. It really is only about an 8-minute walk from Milan Central Station, which is a big plus for travelers with luggage. We took a taxi to Chinatown, which cost around 13 euros. Getting to Milan Cathedral was also easy – just a few metro stops away, or a taxi for under 13 euros. The transportation cost covers the main sights very well. 🏨 Hotel Facilities: As other reviews mention, the hotel facilities are brand new. The room was clean, tidy, and very well-designed. Switching from those old historical hotels to this one, I immediately felt the convenience and comfort of modern amenities. However, a significant drawback was that the air conditioning's heating wasn't very effective; it felt a bit cold in the room at night. I hope the hotel can check and fix this soon. 🍳 Breakfast & Service: I have to praise the breakfast – the variety was incredible, satisfying both Chinese and Western palates. What's more, all the hotel staff were wonderful, warm, and polite. Whether it was the check-in reception or asking for information, they made me feel very comfortable. 📝 Summary: If you're looking for a modern, clean, and well-located hotel in Milan, this is definitely an excellent choice, especially if you're ready for a change after seeing so much classical European style. I just hope the hotel addresses the air conditioning issue, as a comfortable room temperature is fundamental for a good stay."
