Alvin-RocThis is a fantastic hotel with excellent service and cleanliness. The rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast is a real highlight! They have smoked salmon, pan-fried dumplings, and avocado – all for just €25 per person, which is great value. There are two pizza places, a mini-supermarket, and a small pharmacy right outside the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. Plus, the Duomo square is just 20 meters to the left, and it's connected to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It's so close that you can easily drop off your shopping and head right back out for more!

I had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Viridis. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable – it’s easy to feel at home right away. The staff truly stands out: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
One of the highlights is the bar downstairs – stylish, with a great atmosphere and excellent drinks. It’s the perfect place to relax in the evening.
Overall, a wonderful hotel that I would highly recommend!

anmqThe hotel is located in a residential area, slightly north of central Milan, which appears to be one of the city's less affluent neighborhoods. Right next to it, there's a large roundabout surprisingly overgrown with tall weeds! The buildings' bases are covered in graffiti, making the area look quite run-down.
There was a Black housekeeping staff member who seemed to lack proper housekeeping training. While cleaning our room, he took our personal glass, which was very different from the hotel's provided glassware, as well as a stainless steel cup and chopsticks that had no connection to the hotel whatsoever. When we returned to the room and noticed these items missing, we saw him still cleaning and immediately asked if he had thrown them away. He didn't evade the question at all; instead, he led me to the storage room and retrieved everything!
We ran into him at the subway station the next day. He was instantly recognizable – over 190cm tall and very thin. He greeted us in a very friendly manner.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the train station, making it easy to get around and explore the city. Housekeeping provided room cleaning every day, and the room was always kept clean and tidy. This definitely made our stay even more comfortable.

Guest UserOverall, this was a perfectly decent place to stay, with a convenient location and everything you need for a short visit to Milan.
Unfortunately, one major issue significantly affected our experience: the shower was leaking badly. It was practically impossible to take a shower without flooding the entire bathroom and getting water all over the room. After every shower, we had to spend time wiping everything down because the floor and surrounding area were covered in water.
This is especially frustrating in summer, when you come back after a hot day of sightseeing and simply want to take a comfortable shower.
Without this issue, we would probably have rated the stay around 4/5. But a properly functioning shower is a basic necessity, so unfortunately, for us, this brought the experience down to around 3/5.

Guest UserEverything was great – room service, lobby, facilities – but it's really out of the way and a bit far. However, that's reflected in the hotel's good price. It's right next to the train station, and about a 15-minute walk to the subway.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Mokinba Hotel Baviera and would recommend it for travelers looking for a well-located, friendly hotel in Milan.
The location is a highlight — just a 5-minute ride on a Lime scooter or about 12 minutes on foot from Milano Centrale station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city.
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which always makes a big difference. Breakfast is a buffet-style spread — nothing extraordinary, but perfectly decent if you keep expectations reasonable.
The main drawbacks are the room and bathroom size. As a backpacker traveling with a large bag, I noticed the room was tight enough that fully opening a big suitcase was a challenge — though manageable with a backpack. The shower, however, was the bigger issue: it’s extremely compact, and even as a petite Asian woman of average build, I found it nearly impossible to move freely — turning around or washing my hair meant bumping into the shower door. That’s worth noting if you’re particular about bathroom comfort.
That said, for the location and the warm service, I’d still consider it a solid choice for a short city stay.
