"The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The location is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the subway station. The bathroom was exceptionally large, and I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling with elderly companions. It's equipped with grab bars everywhere and a shower stool, making it very senior-friendly. Plus, there's a large supermarket, Li Do, just a 3-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient."

"Everything is good, the only problem is the blow dryer is broken, the food in the breakfast is the same everyday, they should change it every day, the location is weird because it is like in the middle of the residential area but the staffs are good and they are cleaning everyday. Please bring your own socket if you are from other countries hotel is not providing. All in all our stay is good. Train station 10mins walk and easy going to the center."

"To be honest this was the cleanest hotel I have ever been to and I have been to a lot I’m the kind who brings my own pillow cover and I didn’t use it Breakfast was okay The only thing is that it’s a little far from Milan and the center like half an hour or a little more by car But other than that it was good and it had free parking"

"Nicely located -- just 5 minutes walk from the Duomo Square. Cafes and restaurants around. Free water at the reception (good to have after spending whole day sightseeing and then getting back to the hotel but forgetting to buy a bottle of water in a supermarket). A tiny negative thing is that the air conditioner did not allow to change the speed and temperature -- the control buttons were there but pressing them had no effect. Breakfast is good in the sense of variety of dishes but could still be better, e.g. fried eggs seemed to be cooked with some additions -- the taste was artificial."

"The Hotel was actually near the Centrale Station. The Receptionist, all of them are wonderful!! Bless them cause on December 7, 2025, around 1:50 PM, I arrived at Porta Garibaldi and took Metro Line 2 to Milan Centrale. While heading toward Exit Torriani, I paused at the stairs to secure my phone and metro card inside my bag. I clearly remember that my wallet was still inside, placed deep in a zipped bag worn in front of me. As I struggled with my luggage, two men were walking closely behind me. One of them—short white hair, around his 40s—suddenly grabbed and lifted my luggage without asking, speaking to me as we went up the stairs. I assumed he was just being helpful. There was no violence, no force, no confrontation. After reaching the top, he walked ahead past Glam Hotel, while I checked in at Smart Hotel Milan. It was at the reception, when I was about to pay the city tax, that I realized my wallet was gone. Only my wallet was missing; my phone and other belongings were untouched. I later learned this was a classic case of pickpocketing through distraction."

"I rarely write reviews seriously, but Berna absolutely deserves one. First, the location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the central train station. Then, the staff here are incredibly helpful and nice! We arrived around 10 AM, were able to store our luggage for free, and then started exploring Milan. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, they first upgraded my room to a King-size bed. Because my mom wanted separate beds, and there were no more twin rooms available, we troubled the staff again to help us find another room and separate the two beds. I originally thought the hotel would be old, but it wasn't at all! It was very clean and tidy, and even the faucets and fixtures in the bathroom were new and spotless! Everything in the minibar was free, including soda and water, and if we needed more, they would replenish it. The service attitude was also very friendly. If I come back to Milan, I will definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was very clean. Receptionists we're all super helpful and fantastic. The location was good for me but far from Milano Centrale, which is where I needed to be. There are 3 restaurants across the street. All 3 super busy and food was great. First night, I went to another restaurant in Piazza Firenze, which was also great. About 300m there is a lot of public transport to various areas of Milano. Like a tram to Cadorna, for example. Area doesn't look too safe at night, but I am a single woman and had no problems walking around. I saw some policemen walking around. Maybe that helps. There is a nice little patio downstairs, but I was there for 5 minutes and the mosquitos were too close for comfort. I didn't ask the receptions for help, I am sure they would have giving me something but I was tired and just went to my room to see: Young Montalbano... 😉"

"Location is great, close to the Milano Central station. I tried a couple of restaurants around the hotel, it was very nice.  Hotel room is too warm for us, we cannot adjust the temperature in our room. The staff said the temperature is not adjustable as set by the government. Luckily, the window is openable, we got some cool air from outside."

"My first stop in mainland Europe was Milan, and I chose this hotel. For two adults and one child, we opted for a triple room. European hotels are strict about occupancy matching the actual number of guests, so finding a triple room can be a challenge. We arrived from Milan Malpensa Airport at 6:30 AM, took a 1-hour train ride, and then walked to the hotel in less than 10 minutes – the route was very easy to find. The hotel is conveniently located, with a coffee shop across the street. We initially thought about having breakfast there, but later decided to head to the Duomo area instead. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage in advance, but early check-in wasn't possible, which is understandable. We came back around 3 PM for check-in and found that while the room wasn't large, it was well-equipped with bath towels, slippers, shower caps, and shampoo. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and electric kettle. There's a safe and a mini-fridge in the room, but the mini-bar items are chargeable. Breakfast was especially plentiful and served from 7 AM to 11 AM. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel, though the Wi-Fi connection was a bit tricky. One minor complaint: the bathroom light is sound-activated, which is fine when showering, but it kept going dark while using the toilet, and even clapping loudly didn't always work. The small balcony was nice, but for non-smoking tourists, it's not particularly useful."
