Samarkand Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price. The spa has good facilities but is not operated properly - I had reserved in advance but when I was let in the sauna and hammam was only just turned on so nowhere near proper temperature even by the time my hour ended. Also there was no towel in there (was told there would be). The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level. There were some drain flies in my bathroom so cleanliness also needs to be addressed."

"I stayed at the hotel for 4 days in mid-April. I chose the location for its walking proximity to attractions. The hotel is also easy to access by car. The rooms matched the description, with good quality bedding, and the bathroom was stocked with shower gel, shampoo, and soap. However, there was a faint, peculiar smell in the bathroom, though I didn't notice it in the room itself. My room was directly opposite the stairs, and the window opened into the hallway. There's an observation deck upstairs with rooftop access, where a glass door was open, providing plenty of fresh air (see photo 3). I'd like to highlight the excellent staff performance: - The reception staff were attentive and friendly. - The breakfast staff member was also very caring. - The staff do a great job cleaning all areas."

Having a mini-market right in front of the hotel was super convenient for quick purchases. It's also close to all the main tourist spots, which is handy. Even though it's on a narrow street, taxis can still get through, so that wasn't an issue. The only minor point was that the shower water pressure was sometimes low, and at other times it was too hot, but it was still usable, so I have no real complaints."

"An absolutely brand new small hotel. The renovation is modern and very beautiful. It's clean and cozy. The room has a lovely carpet. The bathroom is modern, and the linens are spotless white."

The bed was soft and comfortable, providing good relief from travel fatigue and ensuring a decent quality of rest. The only minor drawback is the limited dining options near the hotel. For dinner or to find a variety of local cuisine, you might need to walk a bit further, or consider planning your meals in advance while exploring during the day. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable, and well-located accommodation, especially suitable for travelers whose main purpose is to visit the necropolis and surrounding historical sites. If convenience for dining isn't a high priority, it's an excellent place to stay."

"The staff was very polite! Everything was neat and clean! The breakfast was very filling and abundant. Overall, we were very pleased; the trip was a truly memorable experience!"

"The hotel is beautiful, fresh, and everything is new with a pleasant interior. The staff are friendly and always willing to help if they can. The cleaning lady is also very nice. The rooms are small but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each floor has a small balcony where you can smoke if you wish or enjoy a morning coffee, assuming you manage to snag it. Downsides: The bathroom had very high humidity; I had to keep the door wide open constantly, otherwise, the towels wouldn't even dry. At night, a strip of light enters the room because the door isn't fully sealed. Around 2 AM, some staff member noisily checked in new guests, talking loudly and so on. There was no respect for sleeping guests – I, of course, woke up. While being polite to some guests, they shouldn't disregard the right of others to rest. In general, noise from the corridor and slamming doors is very audible, but what kind of soundproofing can you expect with such a gap between the door and the wall? I wasn't particularly impressed with the breakfast: there's nothing to complain about, but nothing to praise either. I went once and didn't feel like going again. It's clean, decent, and cozy, but for the price per night in Qatar, I've had poached eggs with salmon for breakfast, not just mild yogurt and sausages. But these are differences between countries, and overall, I have no complaints about the hotel itself; you can certainly get enough to eat. The people and the interior were what I liked most. I recommend this hotel to everyone!"

"A very nice hotel, about a 10-minute drive from the train station. In Samarkand, if you're not going somewhere particularly far, most taxi rides are probably around 10 minutes. It's located on a wide, bright main road where cars pass quickly. Next door is a restaurant belonging to the same hotel, which looks like one of the locals' favorite banquet halls. Anyway, the location is good. It's new, the rooms are large, the beds are big, and everything else is great. You can tell the owner prioritizes hygiene; you just feel it's clean as soon as you walk in, cleaner than home. Even their toilet paper is green and scented, which is nice. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom fixtures and hardware are a bit low quality, clashing a bit with the glittering golden exterior decor. I heard there's a pool and spa on the lowest floor, but I didn't have time to experience it. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to visit again."
