"24-hour butler service: I added them on WeChat, but they didn't save my name. When I asked a question, they asked who I was. Even after I told them my name, they still asked for my check-in date, clearly not bothering to check their computer. When I called to follow up, they claimed they were too busy, adding hundreds of guests a day. There are only 42 rooms in total, so I have to wonder, how big is this front desk's operation? I thought it was 420 rooms! At checkout, I informed the front desk before 8 AM, and they said the deposit would be refunded by noon. It was 2 PM, and it still hadn't been returned. The front desk's excuse was that Chinese New Year was too busy and there would be delays. Is your POS machine connected to an international network? Very dishonest. Hygiene: As shown in the picture, there were white spots and stains, which made for a very poor experience. Facilities: There's a small circular hole, about 5mm in diameter, near the statue's mouth – no idea what it's for. The electric curtains wouldn't close. The light on the vanity mirror couldn't reach my face at all. Environment: The room was very small and had a foul odor, like a moldy, slightly sour smell. It only got a bit better after opening the window for a long time. Service: The cleaning lady was very nice. I don't understand why staff have to take off their shoes when entering; it's very cold in winter, and you don't have underfloor heating, so it's freezing to walk on."

Hotel near Hunan Museum/Beichen Delta,Changsha
Changsha North Star International Convention Center and Changsha North Star International Hotel, invested and built by Beijing North Star Co., Ltd. and managed by North Star Exhibition, are located in Zone A3, No.1500, Xiangjiang North Road, Kaifu District, Changsha, the core business district of North Stat Delta. With Metro Line 1 in close proximity, they are about 20km away from Changshanan Railway Station and 30km away from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. Besides, they are adjacent to Changsha Riverside Cultural Park, a national 4A scenic spot, and have large and medium-sized shopping plazas, with the Xiangjiang Cruise Terminal close by. There are also several public transport links to Pozi Street, Orange Island, Mount Yuelu, Hunan Museum and other historical sites and popular attractions.

"## Environment: The surroundings are quite good, located by the river and not far from the subway. The nearby roads have light traffic, so it's not noisy. Pictures two and three show the actual view. ## Service: 1. I specifically requested a high floor, a good view, and a room away from the elevator in my booking notes. When checking in, I asked if they could see my notes from the platform, and they confirmed they could. They then assigned me a room on the 16th floor. At the time, I thought this was considered a higher-floor room within the available range. I was in a hurry to go out, so I just dropped off my luggage, rested for a few minutes, and left. When I returned in the evening, I realized the view wasn't what I had in mind. I checked Trip.com and saw that this room type is listed as floors 12-22. So, I'd expect at least the 18th floor to be considered a 'high floor,' right? I checked in around 3 PM, which is generally the standard check-in time, while the standard check-out time is 12 PM. It's unlikely that all the high-floor rooms were already taken, unless everyone checked in early? The deluxe and premier rooms on Trip.com use the same view pictures, which is misleading. 2. Right after I entered the room and sat down, someone knocked on the door to deliver a welcome fruit plate. A minute or two later, another person came to deliver a box of candies. Couldn't they have delivered them together? The soundproofing is poor; sometimes I couldn't tell if someone was knocking on my door or the neighboring room's door. Plus, the person delivering the fruit knocked and then just opened the door and walked in! It startled me, and I had to say, ”Someone's here!” 3. After breakfast, I asked what time check-out was, and they said 12 PM. I asked if I could get a late check-out, and they told me the hotel was fully booked, so it wasn't possible. While this is within their rules, it didn't feel like good service. The gap between a 3 PM check-in and a 12 PM check-out is quite long. The experience isn't even as good as a slightly lower-tier hotel like a Hanting or All Seasons. 4. Around midnight, I was half-asleep when I was suddenly woken up by the sound of a staff member knocking on the neighboring room's door. Given how poor the soundproofing is, shouldn't they optimize this by calling instead of knocking late at night? ## Facilities: 1. The soundproofing is terrible. I could clearly hear knocking on the next-door room, and sometimes I couldn't even tell if it was my door or theirs. 2. There's an occasional 'bang' sound from above the window. I'm not sure what causes it."

"Overnight stay for transit to another city. Front desk staff was friendly. Location of hotel near the train station but a short walk to nearest subway station. Moderate amenities around the area (perhaps because I’ve not explored enough). Room is clean and of decent size. Fittings a little dated. Recommended for short stay."

"About 1km from the train station, and they offer a shuttle service. The hotel facilities feel a bit dated, and the air conditioning doesn't cool effectively enough. The sink is small and shallow, so water splashes out easily. The slippers aren't disposable; the bag says 'high-temperature disinfected for eco-friendly use.' The best part was definitely the breakfast."

"Being quite sensitive to smells, I specifically requested a high-floor, odor-free room when booking. Upon arrival, the lovely front desk staff was very considerate and immediately upgraded me to an executive floor room on the 29th floor. The room was exceptionally clean, completely free of any odors, and the air was fresh – exactly what I hoped for, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to thank Coach Chen Jiasen, the lifeguard at the pool! My daughter accidentally dropped her ring into the pool, and I searched for ages with no luck. Coach Chen saw what happened, immediately called a colleague to cover his shift, and without hesitation, dived into the water. He quickly found the ring for us. Later, I learned from the hotel's introduction that he is a retired armed police officer, and he still embodies the true qualities of a soldier – quick to react, courageous, and he’s also kind-hearted and highly skilled! I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes Coach Chen Jiasen; such an employee deserves commendation!"

AAnonymous UserEverything was excellent! We stayed for three days during the holidays with our family. Penny at the front desk proactively added us on WeChat and was incredibly responsive to all our requests, always replying promptly. Despite the holiday crowd, the service never felt neglected. The breakfast being extended until noon was a very thoughtful touch, allowing us to sleep in even when we had plans to go out.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right at the confluence of the Xiangjiang and Liuyang rivers. Our room had a northern view, overlooking the Changsha Museum, Library, and Music Center, offering a broad and open panorama of the city's relaxed and comfortable vibe. The room layout was well-designed, with a smooth flow, making all functional areas convenient to use. The lounge's snacks were quite good, and the cocktail making was self-service. Downstairs, one side leads directly to the Beichenhui commercial complex, while the other opens to the riverside greenway, making shopping and strolling very convenient. There's also a small sports center nearby where you can play tennis, squash, badminton, etc., making it a very comfortable choice for a vacation. Finally, a big thank you to rarity and Sera for their enthusiastic assistance; the service was excellent and very personalized.

GGuest UserThe Niccolo Changsha offers a phenomenal, truly six-star experience! The views from the 93rd floor are absolutely breathtaking. The room was spotlessly clean, elegantly designed, and equipped with high-end facilities, making for an exceptionally comfortable stay. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with a full selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The authentic Changsha rice noodles were delicious and fresh, and the desserts and fresh juices were all exquisite, offering an impressive variety that never got repetitive. The service was impeccable; customer service representative NAOMI was always prompt and efficient in addressing any needs. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a charming little bear from the front desk in the morning – such thoughtful details really made the stay extra special. The location is excellent, making travel and shopping incredibly convenient. My entire experience was fantastic, and I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Changsha!

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to the subway, with a pleasant environment and a wide variety of food options nearby, many of which are open late. The rooms have unique design styles. They asked about my preferences before check-in and arranged the room accordingly. The room came equipped with a high-speed hair dryer and a smart toilet. The soundproofing of the French windows is excellent, offering great views. The front desk on the first floor could use more seating.

MMeitubabaI booked this hotel for the Changsha Marathon as it's very close to both the start and finish lines. I realized it used to be the Changsha Wuhua Hotel (a five-star hotel I'd stayed in before). The location is excellent – it's less than 50 meters from Exit 7 of Houjiatang subway station. Check-in was quick. If you need self-service laundry, you can choose a room on the 22nd floor. You don't need a key card to activate electricity; one room card is enough. The room size is quite generous, and the amenities are decent. There's no TV, but there's a full-wall projection screen, a smart toilet, and a separate shower and toilet area. They pay attention to little details, providing a phone stand, a magnifying mirror, facial cleanser, and even perfume. While not high-end brands, it shows thoughtfulness. The bedding is okay, but I'd suggest replacing the comforter. The floor mat is good quality, but I'd recommend upgrading the shampoo, shower gel, and bath towel brands. Breakfast is extensive and delicious, and it's served until 11 AM. I had an upsetting incident where a drunk person tried to swipe into my room in the early hours. After complaining to the front desk, they responded very quickly and handled it appropriately. In particular, the female manager on duty at the front desk was genuinely warm, thoughtful, and meticulous in her service. I highly recommend commending her.

CChenmaimaichimaidanglaoThis was my second stay at the W, and it's been almost two years since my last visit. It offers a completely different vibe compared to the St. Regis next door. For my birthday last year, the St. Regis's butler service was incredibly thoughtful. The W's service, on the other hand, was consistently friendly with smiles all around (except for the dining staff). The W's rooms maintain their signature youthful style. This time, my room was on the 8th floor, not particularly high, but the W doesn't really boast any scenic views anyway. What I regret most is not being able to fully enjoy the hotel's breakfast due to an early high-speed train (I only managed to grab a traditional Eggs Benedict). However, from what I briefly saw, the taste was far superior to the St. Regis, and the variety and quality of the breakfast could easily rival the Grand Hyatt in Changsha.

MM27406****A five-star hotel! I'm extremely satisfied! So much so that it made me fall in love with Changsha! The actual place looks exactly like the pictures! The hygiene and facilities are great, and they offer pick-up and drop-off service with just one call! The hotel service is genuinely excellent! The breakfast is plentiful, and they have a large restaurant for lunch and dinner that's not expensive either! The hotel environment is really good, and the lobby is particularly grand. Looking out the window at night is truly amazing! You can even check out the filming location for 'Sisters Who Make Waves,' and it's not too far from Changsha South! Plus, it offers great value for money! Due to time constraints, I only stayed one day, and I really didn't want to leave. I love this hotel so much, and I love Changsha. I plan to stay here again whenever I visit Changsha in the future! High value for money! The hotel's service is the best I've ever encountered! Full five stars! This is my honest review!

AAnonymous UserStaying at Brohub in Dadi Jinshu, Kaifu District, Changsha was definitely the right choice! The sofa and dining table were spotless, the sheets were warm from the sun, and the bathroom smelled wonderful – a truly comfortable stay. As soon as I arrived at the door with my big suitcase, a staff member rushed over to help. When I wanted to find some late-night snacks, the owner even drew me a map showing all the local favorites. The room's air conditioning was incredibly cool, the WiFi was perfect for playing King of Glory, and there were so many charging ports I couldn't use them all. The best part was getting together for gaming and board games in the evenings. There were also daily hiking trips and hot pot parties, and quite a few handsome guys working there! Even solo travelers felt instantly at home. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Changsha, and I've already made plans with my new buddies to bring even more people next time!
