"Traveling solo, I felt like staying in a hostel was a great deal! The rooms here were clean, and it's super close to so many attractions. I could walk to Pozi Street in about five or six minutes to check it out, or head to the Mixue Changsha flagship store for some goodies. The weather in Changsha was lovely; it rained on my first day, but the next two days weren't humid at all. The food was also affordable. The beef tripe noodles at the old Changsha noodle shop downstairs were so delicious – I had them two days in a row, they were amazing! Since it was crowded during the May Day holiday, I just ordered takeout, haha. The price was super student-friendly too! 😘😘 For anyone visiting during public holidays, I recommend hitting up popular spots and night markets before 10 AM or in the early morning. It's much cooler then, and there are fewer people. Even though there are still plenty of people in Changsha in the early morning, it's not nearly as crowded. I had a fantastic time! 😚"

"I saw this hostel reviewed on Xiaohongshu and booked two nights based on the great photos on their profile. The location is excellent, nestled in an alley right opposite Yuelu Mountain. It's a lovely, quiet spot. The bed was big and very soft, and the dorms are separated by gender. The bathroom and toilet are combined, and the shower pressure is fantastic. They have a cute poodle, and I also saw a black cat in the lobby and a Siamese cat on the rooftop where I was drying my clothes. Overall, I was really happy, so I extended my stay by another night! Just two minor points: the lighting in the glass room on the first floor is quite harsh, making it impossible to see my face when putting on makeup. Also, the Wi-Fi in my third-floor room was incredibly slow; I had to go downstairs to work on my tablet. Hope they can improve that!"
