"The front desk lady was incredibly nice; she helped us look after our luggage and even upgraded our room for free. The room was spacious and had a projector and floor-to-ceiling windows. The water pressure was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite large. However, the bathroom door in my room didn't lock, which was a minor inconvenience. I didn't take any photos, so I'll just add a few random ones."

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Changsha’s Wuyi Square, Houcang Ningjing Hotel draws inspiration from the four classic Chinese scholarly pursuits—incense appreciation, tea tasting, flower arranging, and scroll painting—to craft an oriental poetic haven for travelers. Just steps from two subway entrances, it offers seamless access to the city’s transportation network, blending urban convenience with serene retreat. The hotel’s design is rooted in Zen-inspired oriental aesthetics, using natural elements like raw wood, textured linen, and bamboo shadows to shape a tranquil sanctuary. Though surrounded by the city’s buzz, every corner invites guests to transition effortlessly into a realm of natural beauty and quiet reflection. Here, the concept of "hidden urban sanctuary" comes to life: step out into the dynamic energy of the city, and return to a haven of peace—a perfect balance of bustling vibrancy and inward calm.

"This hotel's location is fantastic, situated in a commercial area with convenient access to everything. The entire room was meticulously cleaned, and the environment was quiet and elegant. The staff's service was warm and attentive, making my stay hassle-free and comfortable from start to finish. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changsha. Highly, highly, highly recommended!"

"I've stayed here many times! My recent short stay in Changsha with friends was fantastic! The front desk staff are warm and patient, the price is very reasonable, and the hallway carpets really cut down on noise. The room was clean and odor-free, everything was new, the AC cooled down quickly, and there was a great variety of toiletries. The laundry room was convenient to use, and for extended stays, they clean the room daily. I'll definitely choose this place again when I'm back in Changsha."

Changsha Ben ONE Hotel (Wuyi Square IFS Center) Nestled at the intersection of Bayi Road and Qingshuitang, the hotel sits in the heart of the Wuyi Square core business district, yet enjoys a peaceful retreat amid red walls and green tiles. 【Prime Connectivity – Dual Metro Lines, Zero Transfers】 5 minutes walk brings you to Yingbin Road Metro Station, where Lines 2 and 6 converge. Line 2 takes you directly to the high‑speed railway station, and Line 6 offers a non‑stop ride to Huanghua International Airport – both without any transfers. Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain are just a few stops away, making it easy to explore the city. 【History at Your Window, Authentic Changsha at Your Doorstep】 Open your window and you’ll gaze upon the green‑tiled bungalow of the Changsha History Museum of the Communist Party of China – a century‑old revolutionary site right before your eyes. Turn left downstairs and you’ll find the Rice Noodle Street, where a steaming bowl of local noodles in the morning awakens the true taste of Changsha. The Hunan Museum, home to the legendary Mawangdui artifacts, is only a 5‑minute drive away. And the trendy “Snack Kingdom” – a paradise for food lovers – is just beyond the noodle street, a mere 10‑minute stroll from the hotel. 【Huxiang Aesthetics – Lobby as Art Gallery】 Our design goes far beyond a generic “neo‑Chinese” style. The lobby is a striking art space where the light and shadow of the Mawangdui T‑shaped silk painting, the ethereal haze of the plain gauze garment, the parallel patterns of Han‑dynasty brocade, and the symmetrical motifs of lacquerware are reinterpreted as “light, color, line, and pattern” throughout the space. These aesthetic elements are also carried into the naming of all nine themed room types – including Silk Light, Gauze Shadow, Parallel Twin, and Face‑to‑Face – covering king, twin, and family triple‑bed options to suit various travel needs. Notably, each bed in the twin rooms is a full 1.8 meters wide, offering ample space even for friends traveling together – ideal for both family getaways and group trips. 【Full Amenities – Everything at Your Fingertips】 We offer a breakfast restaurant, a lobby bar, a self‑service laundry, and a fitness centre – all on‑site. Start your day with a bowl of local rice noodles, enjoy an afternoon tea, or take care of laundry and workouts without ever stepping out. 【Peaceful Sleep – Details That Matter】 Blackout curtains, 60‑count long‑staple cotton beddings, and double‑glazed windows ensure that despite the bustling city outside, your room remains a quiet sanctuary for a restful night. As summer begins, we warmly welcome you to step into a world of light and shadow – a dreamy Huxiang experience awaits.

The Luxi Hotel (Changsha Wuyi Square Taiping Old Street) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Luxi Hotel (Changsha Wuyi Square Taiping Old Street) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Changsha. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 5km from Kaifusi Railway Station and 27km from Changsha Huanghua International Airport. Just a short walk from Xiangjiang Middle Road Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Orange Isle Scenic Area, Du Fu Pavilion and Hongse Theater all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The hotel's location is quite easy to find; you can spot the sign right from the entrance of Taiping Street. However, the actual hotel entrance is down a very dim alley, and water keeps dripping from the building next door, making it hard to avoid when walking by. Once inside, it feels like the hotel has been around for a while, and the elevator is a bit old. Getting a good room seems to be a matter of luck. My room had absolutely no window view, and with obstructions outside, the natural light wasn't great either. The humidity in the room was pretty extreme; the floor would stay wet for ages after housekeeping, and pants I'd dampened the day before wouldn't dry even after half a day in the air-conditioned room, extending into the next afternoon. There are no USB charging ports in the room, so if you have multiple devices, you'll need to bring enough adapters. Also, the bedside outlets aren't sufficient, and the placement of the sofa, desk, and outlets is awkward, making it inconvenient to use a laptop unless you're working curled up by the bed. So, for those who need to work, I wouldn't really recommend it. There's no single switch to control all the lights in the room, so you have to turn them off one by one. The bedside switches also lack any labels, so you have to try them all to figure out what they do. The lighting in the room itself didn't feel bright enough, and the light sources were uneven, making it insufficient for applying makeup. Unlike other electrical appliances, the air conditioning doesn't turn on automatically when you insert your room card; you have to manually switch it on every time you enter the room. Even though the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the sliding door is single-paneled, meaning only one side can be closed. If you slide it all the way to one side, there's no door on the other. Also, the sink is quite shallow, so water splashes everywhere if the water pressure is high or you're washing something. There were also quite a few white stains in the nooks and crannies of the bathroom, possibly from years of use, which didn't look very hygienic. Both the wooden and concrete walls in the room were pitted and stained, and the sofa cover also had dirt on it. These things don't affect the functionality of the stay but are psychologically off-putting. However, the guest experience is often heavily influenced by these tiny details. A small suggestion: if they renovate in the future, I'd recommend using lighter shades like grey for the floor tiles and walls, and darker colors for fabric items like sofa covers, as they hide dirt better and look more refined. The black tiles at the entrance and in the bathroom really show every speck of dirt... Compared to other hotels, it might not be truly dirty, but visually, it's a big disadvantage. I had high expectations because I really liked the decor style shown in the online photos, but my stay was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the complimentary amenity kit included cotton pads (which I didn't get at Atour where I stayed a few days prior, and most hotels don't provide them). Also, the service was attentive and responsive, and the staff even helped with washing and drying clothes (which deserves a big shout-out; they even folded them neatly after they were dry, sniff). But! I booked for three days in total, and after staying one night, I discovered the price for the same room type on the platform for the same period dropped by over 50 yuan per night! Infuriating!!!"

"The location is fantastic, right on the top floor of Changsha Spring Department Store in the Wuyi business district. Getting around is super convenient, with Metro Lines 2 and 4 right downstairs. The building's exterior shows its age, but the interior is pretty decent. My room on the 14th floor (13A) required climbing one flight of stairs from the 13th floor, but there's a luggage elevator that solved the problem of carrying my suitcases. The rooftop garden offers excellent views."

The room was exceptionally clean, with soft and dry bedding. The bathroom came equipped with disposable towels and toiletries, and the smart toilet was very convenient to use. The guesthouse itself was quiet and peaceful, with excellent natural light and ventilation. It was fully furnished with all the necessary appliances, making daily life very easy. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and prompt replies to any questions. The location is excellent, close to dining and shopping, with complete amenities nearby. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it felt as comfortable as home. This will be my first choice for accommodation whenever I'm in the area again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling.

This homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

This guesthouse is really unique, with a lovely garden style. It's located right in Chaozong Street, just a short walk to Zhongshan Road, and the entrance is a popular photo spot. The hygiene was good, very clean. There are many trendy spots nearby to discover. It's about a 10-minute walk to Peiyuan Bridge subway station and 15 minutes to Wuyi Square. However, I felt the room was a bit damp, quite high in humidity. I imagine a room on the second floor might be better.

Booked this hotel by chance, and it was pretty clean. The hot water came out fast and had good pressure, and the air conditioning was excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, definitely worth trying – much better than the Zhou Ji noodles (my personal opinion), which were a complete mess. One minor issue: the toilet splashed water when you sat on it. On the bright side, the subway station is right on the -1 floor, making transportation very convenient.

This was my first time staying at the Huanzhi Hotel in Changsha, and the front desk service was absolutely excellent. They even gave me a free breakfast coupon. The breakfast spread was extensive and really delicious, and the auntie working in the breakfast area was incredibly kind and helpful. My room was very clean, and the hotel's location is super convenient – close to Wuyi Square and other attractions. It's also just a few minutes' walk to the metro station, making it easy to get anywhere. I highly recommend staying here! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Changsha.
