It's a shame I didn't have time to try breakfast. I'll definitely choose Chenji again if I have the chance next time."

I was especially worried that an older, established hotel might have outdated facilities or be poorly maintained, fearing it would impact my travel experience. However, once I checked in, all my worries and concerns completely vanished – the entire stay exceeded my expectations in the most amazing way. Even though it's a classic, long-standing state guesthouse, the hotel's facilities are impeccably maintained, and the cleanliness is absolutely flawless. Everywhere was spotless, tidy, and high-quality. Age hasn't brought a sense of decay; instead, it has created an elegant, 'old money' style that is understated yet luxurious, dignified yet comfortable. It completely changed my preconceived notions about older hotels. The service level certainly lives up to the guesthouse's venerable reputation. Throughout my stay, the staff were attentive, thoughtful, professional, and courteous. Their attitude was warm and polite, striking the perfect balance – meticulous without being intrusive. This truly showcased the depth and refinement of a high-end hotel, and the experience was absolutely top-notch. What truly impressed me were the thoughtful details everywhere. From the lobby to the guest rooms, there were beautifully arranged fresh floral displays. In an era where cost-cutting and efficiency are often prioritized, the hotel still maintains such a high standard of aesthetics and sincerity. This commitment and dedication are truly commendable and rare. The location is simply perfect, the absolute core of Kunming. Stepping out, you're right by the stunning Green Lake, making walks and sightseeing incredibly convenient. There are numerous attractions nearby, making travel and exploration highly efficient. Additionally, the area boasts many unique shops and charming cafes, making dining and browsing easy. It's both a tranquil retreat and full of local life – perfect for sightseeing, leisure, and exploring. In summary, the Green Lake Hotel is impeccable in every aspect – hardware, service, details, and location. It is undoubtedly the best choice for a trip to Kunming, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!"

"Room is clean, amenities is ok. We requested for non-smoking room but was given a room with very heavy cigarette smell and had to request for change of room. Our room is located at level 5, the room can hear noise from vehicles very clearly. 6 something on a weekday morning we can hear car honking which is very disturbing. Window and curtain soundproofing are not good enough. Breakfast selection is ok"

"This hotel is very close to Liangjiahe subway station, and it's also convenient to get around by taxi. The hotel itself has a unique circular structure and a stylish design. It's clean and hygienic, and the staff are very warm and polite. The rooms even have a direct drinking water dispenser and all the necessary amenities, including a smart speaker for easy control. It's very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit."

"The service was great! The hotel's exterior looks a bit old and unassuming, but the interior is beautifully renovated. The room facilities are complete. There was a pungent smell in the hallway, which might be residual from the renovation. The breakfast was also delicious, offering local 'er-si' and rice noodles. It's a very good choice overall."

"Came to Kunming for 3 days and 2 nights with my mom, and it was a perfect experience. I didn't have high expectations when booking the hotel, as I'd never been to Kunming before. It was only while chatting with the Didi driver that I found out it was a five-star hotel and located right in the city center. The hotel's thoughtful service began the moment we stepped out of the car – they proactively opened the door, asked if we needed assistance, and Ms. Luo at the reception center patiently answered all our questions. After checking in, we discovered that all the hotel facilities were comprehensive and still very new, including branded toiletries. The hotel also delivered fresh Yunnan fruits and snacks every day. The hotel's breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of options, and from the 30th floor, we could enjoy panoramic views of Kunming's city skyline. My mom was very happy with her stay. Definitely worth coming back to."

Cleanliness: I thoroughly checked the bed, toilet, and bathtub upon arrival, and they were all very clean. Disposable bathtub liners were provided, so I could enjoy a bath with peace of mind. Ambiance: The overall decor is very atmospheric, making it a very pleasant place to stay. Service: The service was excellent from check-in to check-out. They offered a fruit platter upon arrival, allowed me to choose my preferred aromatherapy scent, and asked in advance if I wanted the Yunnan-style Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles for breakfast. They even gave me a souvenir when I left."

"I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. I will take more photos after I check in next time."
