Spa Hotels in Kunming

"Originally, Kunming was just a transit city on my itinerary, but I decided to stay an extra day. After a long search on Trip.com, I found this hotel with great location and reviews. **Environment**: It's very close to Nanqiang Street and has many shopping malls nearby, so going out for food and shopping at night was absolutely no problem. It's also very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to attractions like Cuihu Park and Dounan Flower Market. The lobby is bright and clean, giving off a grand and spacious vibe. **Hygiene**: It was clean and tidy. You could tell the towels had been disinfected by their feel, though they were a bit stiff, the hygiene was assured. The only minor flaw was dust on the top layer of the bar counter glass, which was more noticeable under the lights. **Facilities**: Pretty standard, I suppose. I was mostly out city walking and didn't spend much time at the hotel, so I didn't use many facilities and can't really comment much. However, the in-room hardware and software facilities were good, and the bed was very comfortable. What's worth mentioning is the master light switch by the bed; not all hotels have this. This feature is a blessing for those who are sensitive to light when sleeping and those who are afraid of the dark when getting out of bed to turn off the lights – if you know, you know. **Service**: Excellent and very polite. Everyone greeted me kindly. They personally helped carry my luggage upstairs. The restaurant service was also great; they always maintained a smile and patiently answered customer questions. They even delivered fruit, mooncakes, and small snacks in the evening, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although it's not the newest or the cheapest, I was very satisfied with the service and comfort. The location is a significant advantage. I would consider staying here again on my next trip to Kunming."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from Cuihu Park. The staff's service is also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; a butler even contacted us to coordinate before we checked in. On the day we arrived, they gave us a welcome gift, which included lovely roses and a small succulent pot. There was also a variety of fruit in the room, and in the evening, staff brought us tremella soup. The seagull-shaped cookies were delicious too! Everything was perfect, and I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."

"Facilities: The facilities are quite new, and the hardware is excellent. The lobby environment is also very good. The breakfast was also great! Very rich indeed. I loved it, but my mom thought it was just okay. Cleanliness: I didn't find any issues. Environment: The location is superb, close to everything, and incredibly close to the high-high-speed train station. Service: A special shout-out for the service! Every staff member was wonderful! They genuinely tried to solve every problem encountered, not just going through the motions. They truly thought about how to resolve issues. I had to change rooms midway due to a minor issue, and the new room was not only clean and tidy but every single item was placed exactly as it was in my original room! Incredible attention to detail!"

"The hotel is similar to other City Comfort Inn, the amenities good and room clean, toilet is good too. The staff servicing is wonderful., the counter told that their windows room does not have a city view instead its facing the residential units. Too bad, I was hoping for city view. My only concern on this hotel is that the location is not really near the main shopping district, you need to walk about 2km or take taxi. During my 5 days stay I still didnt manage to use the metro as a convenient transport, instead I walk or get ehailing driver to pick up. Another difficulty I have is that the drop off and pick up point for taxi or e hailing car is block by motorcycle lane, so its difficult to carry luggage and go through fast riding motorcyclist. There are many eateries within 10 minutes walk, and there are TCM pharmacy as well bread store just beside the hotel. Its fine if you are traveling lite and staying few days. Just don't expect its really at main shopping district or near mall."

Her service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She also shared lots of hotel tips, recommendations for nearby restaurants, and attractions in Kunming. **Environment:** The high ceilings offer a fantastic view of Kunming's city skyline, which is absolutely stunning. During the day, you see the bustling traffic, and at night, the city lights up beautifully—it's like Kunming's version of Manhattan, haha. **Facilities:** The bedding was soft and comfortable. The executive lounge offers cocktails and snacks in the evening, which was great. I also checked out the pool; it's about 25m long, the water is clean, and the temperature was perfect."

"Unexpectedly, I randomly booked this hotel and it turned out to be amazing! It's newly renovated, but there's no lingering smell of renovation. The front desk lady was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. She even upgraded us to a deluxe standard room for free! The room was very clean, and the bedding was the white color I prefer, giving it a high-class feel, and it was super comfortable to lie on. The price was quite reasonable too, making it a hotel with excellent value for money. Highly recommend! Highly recommend!"
