"I had a wonderful stay at Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel! The hotel is very affordable, making it a great option for budget travelers without compromising on comfort. What really stood out was the owner’s incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the owner went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They provided transport from Changbaishan Station to the hotel and even offered to take us to local attractions at no extra charge, which made exploring the area so much easier. The photos below show the owner fetching us to the attractions, which was such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is located right in town, so it’s very convenient. There are many food options nearby, as well as a convenience store, which made grabbing snacks or essentials very easy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall environment of the hotel was welcoming and cozy. The owner is truly a kind and thoughtful person, always ready to help and ensure guests have a smooth and pleasant stay. I felt really looked after throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with excellent service, a convenient location, and a personal touch, I highly recommend Changbaishan Hailinyuan Fashion Hotel. "The hotel is located within the Enduli Resort, making it very convenient to see the night views or Genting Skyway. The only downside is that during peak evening hours, ride-hailing services or taxis aren't allowed into the resort, so you have to walk out. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic; even without an elevator, they absolutely won't let you carry your own luggage, and the train station shuttle service is excellent. The room is very large and bright, but the indoor temperature isn't that high. It's acceptable if you've just come in from outside, but if you stay in for a long time, it's not warm enough. The windows are floor-to-ceiling, but they are very thin and let in a lot of cold air. Even with the curtains closed, you can feel a cold draft from the bottom. I think it's more suitable for November. We stayed in January, and even with the air conditioning on and wearing thermal underwear in the room, it was a bit uncomfortable to sit around, so we just had to get under the covers. The in-room amenities provided are very good, and considering the quality, it offers great value for money. However, the hotel breakfast was quite disappointing. It's not in the hotel; you have to get dressed and walk about 150 meters to a restaurant, which seems to be a partner establishment. Inside, they only had things like pickled vegetables, porridge, rice noodles, and small steamed buns. When we went, the person who cooks the noodles said they were busy in the back kitchen and asked us to wait. We waited there for ten minutes and they still didn't come out. The restaurant wasn't very warm either, so we couldn't take off our coats while eating. Given our principle of having a good breakfast, we ended up going to another hotel and paying for a buffet. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. If you're not particular about details or luxury, it's definitely worth considering. If you're planning to visit in February and don't mind the cold, this place is fine. The only truly good thing is that the hotel has plenty of hot water, although the water pressure isn't very strong."

"Good hostel vibes, especially at the lobby.. many activities, and there's option to rent bicycle too. Services was good, self-service laundry too. Supermarket and eateries all within walking distance. The shared hostel room do not have any blinds, hence a bit of compromised on privacy. Likely the best budget option in ChangbaiShan."

"Upon contacting the owner beforehand, we arranged complimentary pick-up from Changbaishan High-Speed Rail Station. The guesthouse itself has a very pleasant ambiance, is clean, and even has an elevator. Erdaobaihe isn't a big place, and the guesthouse's location is extremely convenient. It's excellent for exploring: to the left, about a kilometer away, are Edelweiss Park and Wetland Park, with Yunding Market further up a slope in the same direction. To the right, diagonally across the road, you'll find the Yikou Changbai Cultural & Creative Store. A short walk straight, then a right turn downhill, leads to Autumn Duck Park and Enduli. The room we booked was a bit small, but other room types opposite ours appeared quite spacious. All rooms are equipped with Xiaodu smart devices, the shower features a retractable clothesline, and there's a mini-fridge in the room. The towels and bedding were very clean and comfortable. Any small issues we encountered were quickly resolved after speaking with the owner. One minor inconvenience was a power outage one night, making the room quite stuffy. Power was restored around 5 AM, and the Xiaodu smart device immediately started talking upon rebooting, which unfortunately woke us up. On a positive note, the safety exits were very well-maintained and clearly marked. Breakfast offered a good selection including congee (porridge), soy milk, *youtiao* (fried dough sticks), steamed buns, corn, sweet potatoes, and various fruits."

"The hotel is very clean and beautiful, like a painting. As soon as you step into the hotel, you're greeted by a pleasant fragrance in both the lobby and hallways. The hotel owners are attentive and very nice. When you enter the room, you'll find it very comfortable with complete amenities. The bed is clean, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is clean and somewhat modern. I really liked it. Overall, it's a clean hotel that will please Thai people. The hotel is not far from the city's popular tourist attractions. The hotel owners helped with car rental, airport transfers, and tours of popular tourist spots in the Arctic village and Mohe city. The rental car was very new, and the driver was very nice. The hotel breakfast was delicious. It's a very clean hotel that I really enjoyed. The hotel owners gave me a city souvenir when I”m check out. Thank you very much. I was very impressed. I think if I come again, I will definitely stay here again."

The only downside was that the hot water pressure for the shower was a bit low, while the cold water pressure was strong. "This B&B truly understands life! The moment we entered, we were captivated by the cozy atmosphere. The small courtyard amidst the blue sky and white clouds created a captivating atmosphere. The owner was incredibly welcoming, bringing breakfast and fruit in the morning, and even helping us plan off-the-beaten-path itineraries. Since we couldn't reserve tickets, the owner busied himself with getting them all morning – a true blessing in the travel world. The room was fully equipped with everything, including disposable compressed towels and bath towels – a detail-conscious guest who was incredibly satisfied. The courtyard offers reservations for iron pot stews, roasted whole lamb, and even barbecues. Although the inn is located in the village, it's naturally quiet at night. Didi is also available, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get to the main street. The owner also offers shuttle service when he's free! Welcome fruit: a large plate of sweet blueberries."

"Pros: 1. Across from the guesthouse, there's a large supermarket (Wanfuyuan) which is super convenient for buying fruit and daily necessities. There's also a breakfast shop (Mi Ge Mi Sao) offering various Chinese breakfast items like steamed buns, flatbreads, and congee. 2. Just a few steps downstairs from the guesthouse, you'll find a pharmacy and a bakery (San Mao Bakery). There are countless restaurants in the vicinity. 3. Stayed for several days and didn't encounter a single mosquito, perhaps because there's a moxibustion and massage shop on the second floor of the guesthouse. 4. The double bed has a firm spring mattress, so no worries about backaches. Cons: 1. The shower water temperature can be a bit inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, and the water pressure varies, but it won't scald you. 2. Although the sound insulation of the door isn't great, I slept well even though it's on a street. Plus, the door lock has a deadbolt. 3. Despite no cleaning service or trash bag changes during my stay, I actually appreciate it as it might prevent bringing in insects or mosquitoes with frequent entries. 4. No TV or cups in the room, and the WiFi signal was a bit weak, but that's okay. However, a chair and a hairdryer would have made the stay much more convenient. In summary, for Changbai Mountain, where taxis are extremely difficult to get and public transportation is scarce (and very few food delivery riders on the roads), the location and price of this guesthouse are its biggest highlights and make it a worthwhile choice. All other minor issues can be overlooked. Especially considering that during the Rice Festival, most hotels and guesthouses drastically inflate their prices, this place only doubled its rate, which is commendable. Given the taxi difficulties in Changbai Mountain, we booked another guesthouse (Ya Zhi Jia) for our last night that offered an early morning drop-off service to the station.
