"The location is fantastic, right next to Benxi Station. The environment is pretty good, and it's great value for money. However, if you have high standards, it might not be the best fit. The service was perfunctory, especially one of the front desk staff. The door lock in our room was broken and wouldn't close. She claimed that 'no room in the hotel can be locked.' Yet, the second room she showed us *could* be locked, and we even demonstrated it in front of her, but she still argued."

It would probably be crowded in the summer to escape the heat. The evenings were a bit chilly and very quiet. I was woken up by roosters crowing in the morning, which had a unique charm. The courtyard is perfect for bringing a small dog, although the neighbor's dog, Wangcai, was a bit too enthusiastic, haha. I don't know if there's a problem with the water pressure in the room, but the water flow was extremely low; it took forever to fill a toothbrush cup."

"This guesthouse in Benxi was an amazing find! I originally booked it because it's only a 10-minute drive to Dabinggou, saving us the hassle of an early start the next day. I was so pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The smart-enabled rooms were spotless and bright, and the owner's thoughtfully designed courtyard was both serene and picturesque. The service was incredibly kind, attentive, and enthusiastic; they'd rush to help with your luggage without you even asking – truly fantastic attention to detail. You absolutely *must* try the drinks! The iced Americano was rich, the juices fresh, and the owner's special cocktails were refreshing, smooth, and full of complex flavors – great bartender, and handsome too! After a day of catching fish in the nearby stream and exploring the mountains, relaxing with a drink in the courtyard was the perfect end to the day. Full marks for the experience, and the breakfast was delicious too. Definitely worth a second visit!"

The guesthouse opposite Benxi Water Cave was perfect for a visit. Checking in a day early was ideal, especially since I was visiting the cave the next day. The owner was a very welcoming and friendly lady who answered all my questions about the scenic area in detail. The guesthouse courtyard was beautiful, with a swing and rocking chair, and many swallows nesting there – I was so lucky to see so many! The room was exceptionally clean; you could tell it had been meticulously prepared. The amenities were high-quality and complete, including a standing air conditioner and a separate water heater for easy adjustment. It was an incredibly satisfying stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of freshly made options. It's a one-stop shop for food, drinks, and entertainment – ​​truly fantastic! The room is clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. There is a small courtyard and pavilion. Behind the courtyard is a clear stream. The water is crystal clear and it is a paradise for children to play. Guanmen Mountain and Guanshan Lake are both within walking distance. It is very close and can be walked with the elderly and children. The hotel is very clean.the room is small for just ok for one person with a super single mattress. There are a lot of eateries and shops nearby, looks like a BBQ street. The locatition is a bit hard to reach. There is no nore bus to go there after 8:20. The city is very clean and beautiful. In generla a good place to go. And most importantly, it is really cheap.
