GUANTING HOLIDAY HOTEL
9.5 (1,293 reviews)

GUANTING HOLIDAY HOTEL ★★★★

📍 No. 4 Shengli Road, Pingshan District, Benxi

"I stayed in a non-smoking room, and there was no cigarette smell inside the room. However, the hallway and elevator smelled strongly of cigarettes. The breakfast menu was diverse, and the fruit was delicious. They also delivered wontons for free as a late-night snack. They were tasty, and although I have a slight fear of foreign food, I tried the beef noodle soup on the breakfast menu, and it was delicious. Since it was soy sauce-based, it suited my taste well. The service was good, and they provided unlimited water. Tea, small snacks, iced black tea, and green tea were provided free of charge in the room. Thanks to you, I had a wonderful stay. Thank you."

📍 No. 48 Cuixi Road, Mingshan District, Benxi

"The facilities and view were excellent. Breakfast buffet selection was also very impressive, although dinner in the Riverside Cafe was less so - for the price. There are few options in the vicinity. A fantastic lobby. Please check magnetic strips for operating Elevator 2. A good location by the river, but maybe a bit far from the rail station."

The BLD International Hotel ★★★

📍 Building 138-22, Yuming Road, Mingshan District, Benxi

"During my nearly 20-day independent trip through Northeast China, the Bali International Hotel, while not the newest among hotels of its class, left a deep impression on me with its cleanliness, tidiness, and welcoming service. In particular, the hotel's general manager, upon learning that I was an elderly person traveling alone and it was my first time visiting Benxi, patiently listened to my requests and specially arranged a driver and vehicle to take me to attractions such as the Benxi Water Cave, free of charge. This truly allowed me to experience the warmth and hospitality of the people of Northeast China. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to General Manager Wang once again."

📍 No. 6, Houdayang, Village Group 2, Nangou Village, Sishanling Subdistrict, Nanfen District, Benxi

"The location is easy to find, very close to Dabinggou, less than a five-minute drive. The rooms are very clean, and the views of the mountains during the day and the moon at night are both great. The service is also very warm and welcoming. My partner and I ate four meals here, and every meal was fresh and the staff were very friendly. In particular, the stewed chicken with mushrooms in an iron pot was delicious – the chicken was freshly killed by the locals, so you can eat it!"

"The sewer pipes were making a loud, gushing noise that kept me awake all night; it was still going on in the middle of the night. The blankets were extremely damp, so damp I couldn't sleep on them. I had to sleep under clothes all night. Overall, not recommended."

"The room was clean and tidy, fully meeting the needs of a business trip; It seemed that there was no heating, and the air conditioner only ventilated but did not heat, so it was a bit cold to sit and work; The hot water was very good, and it was warm after taking a shower, and it was not cold after sleeping."

The BLD International Hotel ★★★
"The hotel has an excellent location, right by the Taizi River. Rooms are on floors 22-25, and breakfast is on the 28th floor. The facilities are a bit old, and I have two suggestions for improvement: 1) the lighting is too dim, and 2) add hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes and towels. Overall, the price seems a bit high."

Benxi Langyue International Hotel ★★★★
"The front hall of the hotel is very stylish, the service staff are very good, it can be seen that the hotel wants to do a good job, and the management still needs to be improved. The room phone can't reach the front desk and the housekeeping department, and there is a need to call the mobile phone, which is a bit troublesome. The mirror panel in the room is not bright. Breakfast is similar to ordinary express hotels. The breakfast end time is 9:30. When it is almost 9 o'clock, many dishes are gone and there is no more. For example, fried rice and shrimp, this white shrimp is rare in the buffet breakfast. It is a highlight. It is the brand. The quality and variety of dishes still have a lot of room to rise."
