"I drove to Chengde for a trip and chose to stay at Hanting Hotel for three consecutive nights. The overall feeling was good. Parking spaces are a bit tight, but the security guard can arrange parking problems, so there is no worry about parking. The location is good, and it is very convenient to go to scenic spots and eat. The service and hygiene are satisfactory. The dry and wet separation of the bathroom, which I care about, is very good, and there is no leakage and odor. The floor drain is a little slow, but it does not affect the use. It's just that it's a bit difficult to get toilet paper when sitting on the toilet, and there is no hook rod at the washbasin. These two points are common problems in many hotels, and I hope to improve them. I didn't take pictures, so I'll put a few pictures of Chengde scenery."

"The location is fantastic! It's right across from Jinlong Plaza, which was super convenient for dining and shopping. Plus, it's very close to the Summer Resort. However, the room itself was definitely nothing special. The bathroom had a strong drain smell, and the room felt quite damp. On the bright side, the front desk service was excellent. During my 3-night stay, I managed to visit the Summer Resort, the museum, Mini Potala Palace, Hammer Peak, and Jinshanling Great Wall. Overall, despite the room issues, I had a very good experience."

"I stayed at this hotel for 10 days and had a really positive experience overall. The room was spotless throughout my stay, with crisp, clean bedding, fresh linen, and well-maintained towels. The bathroom and amenities were equally clean, and the smart room features worked perfectly. I especially loved the “sleep mode” function, which turned off the lights and closed the curtains automatically — such a thoughtful touch that made it easy to wind down without even getting out of bed. The location is also a strong point. It’s close to supermarkets and smaller local restaurants, which was very convenient day-to-day. While it’s a bit further from the main built-up city area, it’s still within walking distance of livelier spots. What makes it particularly special is its proximity to nature — being close to the mountains and nearby national parks is a big advantage if you enjoy that kind of setting. In terms of amenities, I really appreciated the free laundry (wash and dry), as well as the steamer provided for clothes — both were incredibly useful during a longer stay. One thing to note is that this branch doesn’t appear to have an on-site restaurant, even though one may be mentioned in the listing. A gym and spa are also advertised, but I didn’t personally see or use them, so I can’t confirm their availability. My only real downside was that the walls are quite thin, and noise from other guests could sometimes be heard. However, the staff handled this situation very well when it arose. What truly stood out to me was the staff. They were consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated that they spoke English well, which isn’t always the case even in larger cities. They went above and beyond — even adding me on WeChat to assist with questions, provide recommendations, and check in when needed. Their kindness and attentiveness made a big difference in my stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who value cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and genuinely excellent service."

"This is my first time staying at Jinjiang Inn and I am basically satisfied with this hotel. It is not far from the Mountain Resort, Puning Temple and the Potala Palace, a 13-minute drive away. There is a residential area called Nanyuan nearby, which is convenient for dining and shopping. The only thing is that the air conditioner in the room is a bit old and the warm air is not hot enough. Hope for improvement."

"The small courtyard halfway up the mountain is unique. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard for guests to drink tea and chat. It should be very comfortable in summer. There are three accommodation rooms in total. On the second floor, there is a swing at the top of the stairs, which children like very much. It was very peaceful to sleep at night. In the morning, I opened the curtains and let the sunlight shine in. The baby went out to play on the swing wearing slippers😄 The boss, Brother Li, was very enthusiastic.
