"The room is quite big and new, big enough for a family to stay in, clean and comfortable, with convenient parking. There are many restaurants nearby, not far from Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple. The only drawback is that the prices are a bit high during May Day holiday."

"This hotel is located in the heart of the ancient city of Datong. Although there were few steps of staircase leading to the entrance of the hotel and the reception was on level 2 and our room type was only available on the 3rd level. Upon check in the hotel staff by the name of Xiao Guo was very helpful and she helped us to carry our luggages to our room at level 3.. There was a small window in our room overseeing the street. The room was spacious and very clean. All corners, fixtures and furnitures in our room were wiped very clean. All amenities were provided inside the room too. The bed mattress and pillow were soft and very comfortable. Body gel, hair shampoo, hair conditioner, hand wash and clothing detergent were all good quality. 2 water bottles, toothbrush, hair comb and slippers were provided in the room. There were space to hang our winter clothing and also washed socks and inner wears. The air-conditioner was superb as it can be adjusted to 4 types of air:normal, wet reduction, cold air and warm air, hence it made our stay more comfortable. There was also an air freshener machine in the room to refresh the air inside the room. So far this is the cleanest hotel room throughout all my China trips. The housekeeper was friendly and ensure the room being cleaned up daily. Overall, I would like to compliment the hotel staff by the name of Xiao Guo for her hospitality and kindness in helping us when we asked her for any information about Datong and places to eat. Xiao Guo always smilling and her warmness has let us felt very welcomed as a hotel guest. Another compliment was to be given to the housekeeper old lady who really did a great job to ensure the cleanliness of our hotel room and the entire hotel public areas. Highly recommended this hotel to all tourist."

"Room was excellent, above our expectations for the price we paid. Totally worth every penny spent. No complain about the room ,only the toiletries holder was missing in the shower cubicle and it was placed on the floor, Location was good enough for us , we took DD from the train station and it was not that far. We also just DD to the old town and wasn’t expensive. Strongly recommend for this hotel. Hotel owners were also friendly and helpful. The surrounding of the hotel was abit messy with pavements under construction etc. other then that everything was great."

It's incredibly close to the main scenic spots. "This hotel definitely deserves a great review. The in-room facilities are excellent. It's a fully smart room. You can control the curtains, turn lights on and off, adjust the air conditioning, and even operate the projector all by voice. It's quite convenient, especially turning off the lights from bed. Check out the pictures – the lighting is really good. Also, a big shout-out to the front desk staff and lobby manager. Their service was excellent, very thoughtful, and their attitude was wonderful. This hotel really knows how to hire the right people! I mentioned to the young lady at the front desk at noon that I was incredibly tired and asked if I could rest and get a late checkout. She said yes, and I checked out around 1:30 PM. I'm so, so grateful; it was truly considerate. Thank you very much. First, let's talk about the hotel's location. The hotel basically occupies an entire floor, but from the entrance, it looks like it's the only establishment. It's near Hualin Xintiandi, with a Parkson mall right next door. You take a large elevator up from outside. It's close to Datong No. 10 Middle School, less than a five-minute walk – more like two or three minutes if you walk fast. Datong Ancient City is right across from the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring. Second, nearby, you'll find Knife-Cut Noodles, Mr. Li's Beef Noodles, as well as Mixue Ice Cream, Pizza Hut, KFC, and other places. In the evening, there's a snack street, making dining very convenient. Third, I arrived late and didn't want to stay in a noisy area, so I took a room near the front desk. In the middle of the night, a guest arrived and woke me up. However, I heard the staff quietly tell them to keep their voices down. After being woken up, I went straight back to sleep. Still, I could feel the staff's thoughtfulness – at least they knew to remind guests to be quiet late at night. Very professional. The room had a table and chairs, which was very convenient for eating."
