"The B&B owner was really friendly and responsive. The place itself is very well-designed, even has books to read, and the location is super convenient, right inside the scenic area. There's also a cute dog, though it had a bit of a smell, haha. The only downside was that the projector didn't have a membership, so you had to use your own, otherwise you couldn't watch anything. So if you don't have SVIP, don't book a projector room, you won't be able to watch anything since everything requires SVIP. I've booked projector rooms at other B&Bs before and they always had memberships, so that was a little disappointing."

"Situated within the old town. Filled with food options downstairs. Many stores as well. Touristy place. Don’t expect too much for this price. The general area and room are clean enough. Mattress is thin but didn’t bother me much for my three nights stay. Squad toilet with shower overhead. Small cubicle but enough to move around and does it’s work. Might be hard to find the place, so give the boss a call when you are in the area. He will guide you up this apartment. Stairway is dark and dirty. But then again, for this price. Go with an open mind. Eight person dorm has window that opens out to the outside. Whereas the four person room is much smaller and window opens out to the living room. Btw, the boss stay in the hostel compound too. He’s happy to share his travel stories and recommend places to go."

"I want to find a different vibe of environment during my visit to Dujiangyan hence i chanced upon this homestay. For fellow travellers, a tip for you is to locate and find a way up to the second floor. The homestay is not visible from the streets so find a lift(i found 2 lifts nearby) to get to the second floor. At the second floor, you will see a stretch of similiar looking homestay. Since its a whole stretch of similiar styles, it looks like u are transported back to ancient China type of vibe which is what I am looking for. Very instagram worthy of shots u can get from here. Staff or the owner is friendly and she gave us some mandarin oranges which are delicious and juicy. Cleanliness is good too and the toiletries are provided. We choose the room with a mini backyard as it looks cool to me though i feel it can be further improved. Now for the minor setbacks, the toilet/shower design is kinda weird as it has a sorta shared sliding door between the toilet and shower room. Its hard to explain but you will get it once you see it in person. The sitting toilet might also be too small if you are more towards plus sized. Another drawback is the streets directly below us, you cannot book a didi along this street as it is a no stopping road. You need to go to the T junction near the river to book the waiting spot for Didi, its called green zone or something like that. On the plus side, we have Luckiin coffee and a chinese fast food chain directly us and also nearby small eateries. I have look through the rest of the homestays along this stretch and I would say this is one of the better ones as the rest looks a little gloomy with the interiors while this one gives a vibrant environment and is not blocked by view of the main building."

"Hygiene: The place was spotless, with no stains on the towels or bath towels, and the kitchen countertop was kept tidy, showing great attention to detail. Environment: There's a convenience store and a breakfast shop downstairs, making transportation super convenient. It’s quiet despite being centrally located, and it's easy to walk or bike to see the 'Blue Tears' phenomenon. Service: The check-in process was smooth. The host was incredibly thoughtful, adding me on WeChat the day before to share tips on local attractions and dining. They proactively checked in daily to see if I needed anything, and communication was pleasant throughout my stay. Facilities: The air conditioning cooled quickly, and the hot water supply was stable. My only suggestion would be to optimize the storage space a bit more, as the area for luggage felt a little cramped. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. The minor issues didn't detract from the overall satisfaction; it was excellent despite a few small flaws. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family!"

"I came to Dujiangyan to relax, and after comparing several hotels, I finally chose this one – and it definitely didn't disappoint! The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to Nanqiao to see the 'blue tears.' Downstairs, there are tons of local snacks, so whatever you're craving is just a short stroll away. The room is fully smart, and the private in-room hot spring was spotlessly clean. They even provided disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers. There's an underground parking lot, which is super convenient, and the front desk was quick to respond to any requests. After exploring the scenic area, coming back to soak in the hot spring really helped me unwind."

"After looking at a few options, I finally settled on this one and I'm really happy with my choice. It's great! The hotel is close to all the attractions, making it super convenient for getting around. I booked it for my child, and it saved us a lot of unnecessary walking. The food street is also nearby, which my child absolutely loved."

"I stayed here for three days and had a very comfortable experience. The air was fresh, the room was great, and the sheets and duvet covers were clean and tidy, changed after each guest. There's free parking available right outside. It offered incredible value for money, far exceeding my expectations. The guesthouse itself is beautifully designed with a distinct Qingcheng Mountain feel and rich Taoist culture, making it perfect for travelers seeking a comfortable short break. It was a very pleasant trip, and I'll definitely come back again."

My stay at this guesthouse was a mixed bag, so let me start with the pros before diving into the cons. First, the good points: While it's not the closest to the high-speed rail station, and the building's exterior looks a bit dated and old, the interior renovation is exceptionally well done. The decor is modern and clean, and the entire house features smart touch-control switches, which are both convenient and stylish, creating a great ambiance. Now, for the noticeable downsides: The bathroom floor drain wasn't properly cleaned, with quite a bit of hair left behind. When the water backed up, I had to clean it myself. The service attitude was generally acceptable, but the basic cleaning wasn't meticulous enough, which really impacted the overall experience. Putting aside the exterior and distance, the indoor amenities are quite practical. However, the bathroom details definitely need a thorough overhaul. Once that's addressed, the experience would be significantly better.

Modern business emphasizes ”replicability” as the best business model, but I believe that sometimes the irreplicable aspects are the most valuable and the core reason why a company or shop can operate for a long time. For example, the unique ”human touch” of the ”Several Mountain Retreats” where we stayed this time. This trip to Qingcheng Mountain was an ”escape” from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We chose to come to the mountains on a weekday to avoid being disturbed, but we were also worried about being bored or lonely. ”Several Mountain Retreats” dispelled all our concerns, allowing us to truly experience the peaceful and leisurely life in the mountains. Upon arriving at the guesthouse, the two owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao, welcomed and treated us like old friends, with just the right amount of courtesy. They responded promptly to our small needs. The guesthouse has free self-service laundry; on the first night, my boyfriend forgot to take his clothes to the dryer, and when he came downstairs, he found they were already dried. They remembered our details and prepared extra towels and cups for us. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze and rain, they kindly asked if we wanted some fruit. When we couldn't get a taxi back after eating nearby, they even came to pick us up and ”take us home.” And so on. Every day, the owner's handmade steamed buns and coffee were served for brunch. As a steamed bun and coffee lover, I was ecstatic!!! I usually eat steamed buns and coffee for lunch at home every day, and I never thought I could maintain my old habits even in Qingcheng Mountain. This is truly wonderful! The cat ”Little Tiger” greeted us every day and wanted to be petted. The other cat, ”Little Tabby,” was a bit cautious, but I managed to pet him a few days later (hahaha). I'm a seasoned cat lover, so having cats makes me especially happy. And I'll always remember that night listening to the rain in the courtyard with the two cats. The overall decor of the guesthouse was clearly thoughtful, like a secluded paradise (I even saw a blue dragonfly!). The rooms were very clean, with harmonious colors, and fresh flowers, greenery, and bergamot potted plants everywhere. Every time I stepped into a room, I quickly felt relaxed. The layout was very convenient; for example, the light switches were placed very logically, so I didn't have to walk extra distances to turn the lights on or off. Everything was disposable, so hygiene wasn't a concern. They even thoughtfully provided makeup remover wipes. This is the longest review I've ever written—it's all about love and gratitude!! Fully charged back to work now, thanks Colin and Xiaoxiao!!!

This homestay is situated in a quiet village not too far from the entrance of Qingchengshan. It's a lovely stroll there, and also to the nearby night market for dinner. The owner is also the cook, the concierge, the housekeeper all rolled into one. He will spend some time explaining how you can go about getting to the places of attractions, and gave good advice. My room has a bay so i could chill drinking tea. There is a tea set and tea leaves are provided too. In a nutshell, i had a comfortable stay. 5 stars!

The thoughtful service and the kind, enthusiastic owner made the experience truly enjoyable. Moreover, the surrounding area is beautiful with mountains and rivers, joyful laughter, and historic architecture, which is enchanting. Free parking and convenient shopping are also a plus.

After a long search online, I finally settled on Huahai Hotel. The hotel looks exactly like its pictures, no discrepancies at all. It's super convenient to get around, being just a 2-minute walk from Lidui Park Station and about 2 kilometers from Dujiangyan. I loved spending my days sightseeing and coming back to relax in the hot spring at night. It felt amazing! The young man at the front desk was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist. The ******* cleaning lady was also very thorough, meticulously disinfecting and scrubbing the bathtub. Her dedication to her work was truly impressive.

From Dujiangyan bus station, a taxi costs 7 yuan. No need to drag your luggage around, you don't want to risk damaging the wheels. The hotel is opposite the school. Traffic is bad in the mornings due to road closures, so allow extra time. It's cheap, clean, and there are plenty of food options near the hotel and shops. It's also close to the panda viewing area. A taxi from there costs 20 yuan.

This is a good place to rest. I am surprised that the room even has voice activator, as well as movie projector. Unfortunately, I speak English, and hence could not use the voice activator. This place is on the main road, near the ancient town gate. It is walkable to the food street as well as the famous bridges. It is very near Lidui Park Railway Station. There are other eateries nearby. The room has room heater. The only thing I think guests should be aware of is that the room floor is not at equal level. Although there is a warning sticker on the floor, upon entering the room, be careful. The room is dark, and you may not see the warning sticker before you switch on the light. This place is really good, though.

We had a great time. The hotel is in a good location with everything you need, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a shame they don't provide shower towels. Perhaps the only negative thing about the trip: the disposable towels aren't comfortable.
