"The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in! It was surprisingly quiet for being in the old town. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the decor felt very new. On the first floor, you can enjoy tea and relax, or have coffee and chat. The owner also has two adorable dogs. Unfortunately, I was short on time, otherwise, I would have loved to stay a couple more days to really soak in the slow pace of the old town and the rich history of Dujiangyan city. I accidentally left something behind when I checked out, and the owner promptly helped me mail it back. Many thanks! 🙏"

"Dun be put off by the exterior of the building as its a gem hidden within. The location is along the blue tears river and yes u can just watch the illuminated river at their open space roof garden. I really love the open roof garden, besides able to watch the illuminated river, the flora are well taken so its pleasing to be in the environment. I think i am there at the off-peak season so there are always ample seat around. Moving on to the actual room itself, it is what i expected from a modern zen setting. Stylish interior that blends well with everything and with a built in private stone tub. Speaking of this, do be careful as with the plastic disposable tub cover, it is really slippery so extra caution when stepping in. As for the toiletries, everything u needed are provided including as mentioned the disposable tub cover, shampoo, body foam, toothbrush, slippers, etc so u can save your lugguage space. The location is all within 1km of the nearby attractions like 南桥，都江堰景区，灌县古城. From here, it is also cheap to take a Didi to 熊猫谷，青城山. Overall, I enjoy this homestay throughly and would return if I visit this region again!"

"Staying at Dujiangyan Yanhuoli was a delightful experience. It's right next to the beautiful Nanqiao Bridge, and as soon as you step out, you're greeted by the ancient Dujiangyan scenery. The room was clean and elegant, and the service from the owners was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Exploring the 'Blue Tears' river at night and strolling through the ancient alleys was so convenient. A perfect accommodation experience for my trip, definitely deserving of a five-star review! 💯"

"Walking distance from Lidui Park station. But for those with luggages, take note that the nearest exit to this hotel only has elevator going up. Going down only has stairs. We took the train from Lidui Park to Chengdu and had to carry the luggages down the stairs. From the hotel, it is walkable to the ancient town. But we took Didi which costs less than 10 yuan."

"The room was spotless, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The bed was super big and incredibly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm, just perfect for a good night's sleep. The location is fantastic, right downstairs there's a light rail station and the famous selfie panda. Plenty of food options nearby too! You can even walk to see the 'Blue Tears' (bioluminescent plankton)."

The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable – not the kind that's too soft and saggy. "This homestay is in a perfect location to experience Dujiangyan - the ancient town and the irrigation system, and offers a peaceful respite and a calming atmosphere above a bustling little market street. The owners were incredibly helpful and offered advice (in Chinese - but was able use translation apps to understand) on what to do in the area. Really enjoyed our stay here."

"Situated within the old town. Filled with food options downstairs. Many stores as well. Touristy place. Don’t expect too much for this price. The general area and room are clean enough. Mattress is thin but didn’t bother me much for my three nights stay. Squad toilet with shower overhead. Small cubicle but enough to move around and does it’s work. Might be hard to find the place, so give the boss a call when you are in the area. He will guide you up this apartment. Stairway is dark and dirty. But then again, for this price. Go with an open mind. Eight person dorm has window that opens out to the outside. Whereas the four person room is much smaller and window opens out to the living room. Btw, the boss stay in the hostel compound too. He’s happy to share his travel stories and recommend places to go."
