Roommates look at luck, some people are very noisy, some people are lighter hands and feet, and there are midnight stays.

"I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou."

"I payed for this night but didn’t stay. It was partly my mistake, because I didn’t look enough on the photos — if I had, I would’ve known that the room has no toilet included. The toilet was a shared one, a squat toilet, at the end of the hallway. As a solo female, I felt somewhat unsafe thinking about having to use it during the night. Also, the walls were super thin and I could hear my room neighbor talking very loudly. The room was small and made me feel uncomfortable. The location was good and the staff was nice. I didn’t ask for a refund, I just left."

"Very close to the train station, and the city center is easily accessible by bus. There are plenty of restaurants near the hostel. The entrance is a bit tricky to find, as it leads past numerous construction sites and run-down apartments. The hostel itself looks okay. You get a bed, but nothing else is included (no towels, no toothbrush, etc.). The bathrooms and the stairs leading up to them could definitely use some renovation. A 100 ¥ deposit is required at check-in, but it's refundable. I only stayed one night, and it was perfectly adequate for that."

"This is the second booking I made with their hotel. I was given a free upgrade with a more spacious room. I highly recommend a bigger room with a window for comfort. The reason I returned due to the close proximity to convenience (e.g.subway, railway stations, bus stations, restaurants/eateries and shopping centres). The famous Ma'an beef noodle shop and Gansu Museum are within walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you stay in Lanzhou."

The room, as always, maintained Hanting's consistent style: clean, tidy, and well-laid out. The breakfast offered classic Lanzhou flavors, with both the beef noodles and egg milk *laozao* (fermented glutinous rice dessert) being delicious. The egg milk *laozao* was especially good, the best I've had these past few days, even better than Lao Ma's! I highly recommend future guests try it. Water, coffee, and tea are self-service in the lobby, which is very guest-friendly. The location is unbeatable; the hotel is right at the entrance to the food street, making it convenient for dining and catching a taxi, and popular attractions are within walking distance. Extremely satisfied! 👍

On the map this hotel is about 900m away from the Lanzhou West train station, but I would advise you to take a taxi/ride-hail vehicle if you have large/heavy luggage. You have to either cross an overhead bridge without lift to reach the hotel, and because the stretch of road has buildings beside it that are undergoing construction, it can be a bit difficult to navigate the footpath which sometimes spills over to the road. Alternatively, you can take the metro for one stop and backtrack, but you would have to put your luggage through the scanner, let security test your liquids in the luggage, etc.
There is a convenience store outside the hotel, but otherwise there isn't much shopping to be done. The location is good only because it is near the train station.

This hotel is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in since my trip. More than 100 can live in the city center. Downstairs is Ma Anjun Spicy Beef Noodles. Next to it is the food commercial street, Lanzhou Center, Gansu Provincial Museum, very close to the bus station and subway station, very convenient to travel, The attitude of the boss is also very good. As for the situation mentioned in other comments, I think this has to be seen. If you have high requirements for the hotel, you can go to stay for four or five hundred and one nights. This hotel is more than one hundred and one night. What kind of bicycles, if you come out to play, stay in the hotel for the night, I highly recommend this hotel if there is no additional need.

The room is in a community, and access cards are required for entry and exit, so you don't have to worry too much about safety. The landlord sister is very enthusiastic, the room is very light, the sheets and quilts are very clean, and the tricks are very homely (inexplicably at ease), the room is very quiet, and the takeaway can also be delivered to the door, which is very convenient. Overall, the price is very high, recommended!

It was nice to be quiet, but if the door is not closed and it is not closed with considerable force, something like a warning sound will ring all the time, so I was a little careful when closing it.
But other than that, it was a wide 々 and it was easy to use and very nice room ☺️
There are many night markets and roadside shops around the hotel, so you can enjoy it until late.
It was good to stay !!

MinShanHuaWithin easy walking distance to the train station - ideal for solo travellers, but far enough to not feel swamped in the crowds. The staff are friendly and personable, always happy to help and have a nice chat. This is a decent budget hotel, and was exactly what i would expect but the warmness and welcoming enviroment created by the staff was above and beyond and helped me feel at ease. Theres a small convinience store directly next to it with various shops and restaurants in the adjacent area providing useful. The bathroom couldve been a little cleaner, and the shower had some problems with water pressure and cleanliness but nothing bad enough to affect my stay. i will reccomend this place to any foreign friends staying in Lanzhou!

The room is clean and tidy, the air conditioning is powerful, the boss is friendly and the pick-up service is very good. It is very convenient to eat around. There is a place to eat on the opposite sidewalk. Turn left and keep going. There are several food stalls. There are many people eating barbecue.

It's the best place to know the location, but it's a bit difficult for foreigners. I was able to speak a little Chinese for about an hour. Especially because I didn't understand any of the words here. Still, I went to twists and turns. Thank you for checking in early. But the first impression was not very positive. I met a guest who smoked too naturally in the living room. Then the dormitory was too dark to even turn on the light. It's like night and day. But the bed is far away and all the facilities are comfortable. Even a small folding desk ~ admired the boss's sense.
But the toilet sink was always full of cigarette ash and smelled of cigarettes. It was shared by men and women, but this part was difficult. The smell of cigarettes is painful for non-smokers. Eventually, it poured into the neck. It's a good place for smokers and people who are very familiar with Chinese. Because non-smokers and toilets are shared, it is not recommended for women.
