"Seriously good! When I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded my room – I originally booked a single, but got a room with two beds! Haha, the beds were super big, she told me to just enjoy both of them. Plus, there's an elevator, which is a nice touch. It's truly great value for money; the environment is lovely with lots of greenery, and the bathroom is spacious and the toilet is clean. I honestly didn't expect such a great room for under 100 yuan! And just for fun, here are some photos I took at Blue Moon Valley, I think they turned out pretty well hahaha (✿^‿^)"

"Was too busy taking photos of myself, haha, but seriously, everyone should check this out! It's a really cozy little courtyard. The owner is genuinely warm and simple, just a really good person. They're a bit chatty, like a distant relative who really wants to make sure you're well taken care of. Anyway, the vibe at this guesthouse is great. The only downside is my sister and I were too lazy to go out, haha!"

"This inn is located near Lijiang Old Town's Grand Water Wheel, very close to the main entrance at the North Gate of the Old Town. It's a four-story villa-style building. Since it's not directly on the street, it's very quiet. However, you do have to walk up a 200-300 meter alley, which makes it a bit less convenient and harder to find. The hotel is built into the hillside, facing the Old Town with Xiangshan Mountain behind it. Both the guest rooms and the viewing deck offer panoramic views of the entire Old Town."

"The owners, a sister and her husband, were very kind and upgraded our room. Staying here felt as comfortable as being at home. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were all high-quality. There was a sunroom upstairs with a view of the old town – so peaceful! The owners and their mother are both Naxi people, and they were very hospitable. My son had a great time playing with their two children. We stayed for three days, and it was hard to leave. The owner's mother used to work in tourism and knew the surrounding attractions and routes very well."

"Undoubtedly my best hotel experience in China. Positioned right up to the old town, but not inside it, meaning that the nearby shops sell good food at decent prices, making it 100% in location. Cleanliness was also 100%, no need to say any more. The facilities were excellent, including a kitchen, water server, soft and comfortable bed, and western style toilet. But the service is beyond normal. The hosts were so kind, and so helpful, that it was almost unbelievable. And all of this is to an extremely good price. Don't ask questions, just stay here!"

"I accidentally brushed this homestay. What I am most satisfied with is that I can park for free at the door. Parking is particularly convenient. The yard is also very beautiful. "The B&B has smart home features throughout, and it's super close to Zhongyi Market and the South Gate of the Old Town, just a 7-8 minute walk. There's an elevator, which is really convenient for luggage. The fourth floor has a garden terrace where you can do laundry and even dry it or hang it on the fifth-floor drying area. The owner is amazing too! They helped us a lot, giving us travel tips and recommending great places to eat. Plus, I captured some beautiful sunsets and twilight moments from the B&B's rooftop. It was incredibly relaxing to sit on the garden terrace, enjoy some BBQ, and watch the sky."

"We stayed here on 22 May 2026 for 2 people for 3 nights , and we had a wonderful experience in Lijiang Old Town. We had two very heavy suitcases, but it was not a problem at all. Jack, the owner, took very good care of us. He speaks English very well, which made everything much easier. We booked the hotel through Trip.com, and right after our payment was confirmed, Jack contacted us immediately. We stayed in touch through WeChat during the whole trip. On the first day, Jack helped us carry both of our heavy suitcases through the old town. He also gave us many useful recommendations. One of our suitcases was damaged during the trip, and he kindly suggested a place where we could buy a new one at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful and had a very authentic traditional Chinese old town feeling. We booked a large room, but we did not expect it to have a loft area and a tea corner inside the room. The night view from our room (Room A201) was absolutely amazing — we could see all the beautiful lights across the old town from the window. We were truly impressed. Jack also told us to visit the rooftop at night to enjoy the rooftop view and city lights of Lijiang Old Town. Unfortunately, we only had time to go there on our last night, and we really wish we had gone earlier. The room was very comfortable, the weather was nice, and there was free tea to enjoy. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. The bathroom had a hot water system, and we especially loved the strong water pressure. When it was time to check out, we informed Jack in advance that we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our train to Shangri-La. Once again, our heavy luggage was never a problem. Jack was still willing to help us carry both suitcases all the way to the nearest road where we could wait for our DiDi. We truly appreciated his kindness and support throughout our stay We are very thankful to Jack for making our vacation so perfect and memorable. We would definitely love to come back again in the future."
