I highly recommend this hotel! The owners and their family were incredibly kind and welcoming. The courtyard was cozy and felt like home. The rooms were clean and tidy, fully equipped, and all the facilities were new. The decor was thoughtful. The location is also easy to find, close to the airport, making it convenient and a great choice for connecting flights.

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The owner was extremely friendly and attentive; the service was excellent, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness was top-notch, making me feel like I was at home. The location is also perfect, right at the south gate of the ancient city. Upon arrival, the owner personally helped us with our luggage by riding a tricycle. The inn is very comfortable, and it’s very quiet at night. The owner is also a great talker; we enjoyed a cup of tea while he shared stories from all over the world with us. If only there wasn’t such a tight schedule, I would have loved to stay longer. Looking forward to our next meeting!

We stayed here on 22 May 2026 for 2 people for 3 nights , and we had a wonderful experience in Lijiang Old Town. We had two very heavy suitcases, but it was not a problem at all. Jack, the owner, took very good care of us. He speaks English very well, which made everything much easier. We booked the hotel through Trip.com, and right after our payment was confirmed, Jack contacted us immediately. We stayed in touch through WeChat during the whole trip. On the first day, Jack helped us carry both of our heavy suitcases through the old town. He also gave us many useful recommendations. One of our suitcases was damaged during the trip, and he kindly suggested a place where we could buy a new one at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful and had a very authentic traditional Chinese old town feeling. We booked a large room, but we did not expect it to have a loft area and a tea corner inside the room. The night view from our room (Room A201) was absolutely amazing — we could see all the beautiful lights across the old town from the window. We were truly impressed. Jack also told us to visit the rooftop at night to enjoy the rooftop view and city lights of Lijiang Old Town. Unfortunately, we only had time to go there on our last night, and we really wish we had gone earlier. The room was very comfortable, the weather was nice, and there was free tea to enjoy. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. The bathroom had a hot water system, and we especially loved the strong water pressure. When it was time to check out, we informed Jack in advance that we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our train to Shangri-La. Once again, our heavy luggage was never a problem. Jack was still willing to help us carry both suitcases all the way to the nearest road where we could wait for our DiDi. We truly appreciated his kindness and support throughout our stay We are very thankful to Jack for making our vacation so perfect and memorable. We would definitely love to come back again in the future.

My room was on the third floor, so I couldn't get a direct view of the distant snow-capped mountains. The weather in Lijiang these past few days has been quite good; waking up in the morning and drawing back the curtains revealed beautiful mountain scenery. If the weather is clear, you can wake up early and head straight to the rooftop for a distant view of the 'golden mountain' sunrise over the snow peaks (I'm not sure if it's Jade Dragon Snow Mountain). The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. The guesthouse is located in a quiet village with many other guesthouses nearby, and electric scooter rentals are also available. The courtyard was beautifully maintained, with some flowers and plants. The hosts were very welcoming; the owner even gave us flower cakes and oranges. Every morning, the hostess personally prepared breakfast in the kitchen (rice noodles, dumplings, steamed buns, soy milk, etc.). It was a very satisfying stay.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Zhongyi Market, and it's literally just around the corner, super convenient! The owner helped us with our luggage both ways, and it's really easy to find places to eat nearby. Plus, there are lots of flowers, a rocking chair, and a sun umbrella right outside the entrance – perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

What was a bit frustrating was the odor in the bathroom of the first-floor room. It wasn't strong, but it was quite noticeable, probably from sewage backing up in the summer. I hope the owner can improve that... The bed creaked constantly, making a lot of noise when I turned over. The special items I saw when booking, like fruit and flower cakes, didn't seem to be there, and I was too embarrassed to ask the owner... Anyway, the dog was really cute, and that was about it.

His hospitality and attentiveness immediately put me at ease, and throughout my stay, he went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. From recommending local attractions to arranging transportation, he was always there to assist me. The accommodations themselves were comfortable and well-appointed. My room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every aspect. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the rooftop, the panoramic view of the mountains was truly mesmerizing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Lijiang. In addition to the stellar accommodations, the hotel's location was also ideal. Situated in a quaint and charming neighborhood, it was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and attractions. I appreciated being able to immerse myself in the local culture and explore the bustling streets of Lijiang. Overall, my experience at this hotel exceeded all expectations. Beautiful place to stay! The traditional style and decor is beautiful, the amenities are great and bathroom is modern and nice. There’s a nice courtyard to sit in and sitting areas. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly and the owner spoke English. She cared for me when I got sick as well. I had a wonderful time hanging out with the owner and some other guests having traditional drinks and snacks. There was free fruit and cute cats. The location is great in the old town with lots of restaurants and shops around. I would definitely stay here again! Great price.

The owner is a genuine Sichuan local, incredibly warm and welcoming, just like a family member. As soon as we arrived, they insisted on us trying their flower cakes, and the sweet fragrance instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The guesthouse itself is brand new and located right in the heart of the ancient town, making it extremely easy to find. Just a short walk around the corner leads to all sorts of local eateries and attractions, making it incredibly convenient to return after an evening of exploring and dining. What truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. The owner proactively contacted us by phone beforehand, and upon arrival, even helped us with our luggage. The balcony boasts stunning, uninterrupted mountain views. Waking up and opening the window to breathe in the crisp morning air, I felt completely rejuvenated.

This was my first time in Yunnan, and my experience in Lijiang was made truly memorable thanks to this charming, family-run boutique hotel. I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight sleeper train from Kunming. Check-in was officially after 2 p.m., so I simply intended to leave my luggage and freshen up before exploring the area. To my pleasant surprise, I was warmly welcomed by Chun Kai, the owner’s son, who was managing the front desk that morning. Upon learning that I had an overnight journey, he kindly offered to let me check in early if a room became available. Within 15 minutes, a freshly cleaned room was ready for me, and I was like wowww and really appreciated it. Throughout my three-night stay, Chun Kai continued to be extremely helpful. Despite having to return to his hometown for his grandmother’s birthday, he was very responsive to all my inquiries about local food, attractions and tips through WeChat. The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a water heater and an air-conditioner that doubled as a heater. For the price I paid, the room offered excellent value. In terms of location, the hotel is not situated within Lijiang Ancient City, but that turned out to be an advantage. The surrounding neighborhood is quieter and more affordable, with a wide variety of local eateries and two major supermarkets nearby, i.e. Likelong Supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and Walmart is just a bit farther. Above all, it was the kindness and genuine hospitality that left a lasting impression. I found it difficult to leave, despite my short stay. If I return to Lijiang, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list. P/S: The Google Maps address currently appears to be inaccurate. I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the correct location—entry is via the West Gate.
