The room was very spacious and bright. Since it was the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room for free! The view outside the window was amazing, and the room itself was incredibly clean. The soundproofing was excellent, so it was super quiet at night. The bedding was comfortable too. Definitely exceeded my expectations for this booking!

I absolutely adored the ambiance of this small courtyard. Even if I didn't feel like going out to sightsee, just sitting on the rooftop, enjoying the cool breeze, was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The courtyard's location was clear and easy to find, so there was no worry about getting lost, which made getting around super convenient. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely vacation.

My room was on the third floor, so I couldn't get a direct view of the distant snow-capped mountains. The weather in Lijiang these past few days has been quite good; waking up in the morning and drawing back the curtains revealed beautiful mountain scenery. If the weather is clear, you can wake up early and head straight to the rooftop for a distant view of the 'golden mountain' sunrise over the snow peaks (I'm not sure if it's Jade Dragon Snow Mountain). The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. The guesthouse is located in a quiet village with many other guesthouses nearby, and electric scooter rentals are also available. The courtyard was beautifully maintained, with some flowers and plants. The hosts were very welcoming; the owner even gave us flower cakes and oranges. Every morning, the hostess personally prepared breakfast in the kitchen (rice noodles, dumplings, steamed buns, soy milk, etc.). It was a very satisfying stay.

The B&B has a serene environment, despite being in the ancient town, it's far from the hustle and bustle, allowing for a very peaceful night's rest. The staff provides attentive service; they help with luggage pick-up and drop-off, which made traveling with seniors and children much easier. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Spending some leisure time sitting in the courtyard truly lets you experience Lijiang's slow pace of life. Restaurants and shops are all very close by, making it convenient for getting around and sightseeing. Overall, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended for family trips.

Traveling with friends, we blindly picked this guesthouse and it was such great value for money! The owner was also super friendly, confirming our arrival plans a day in advance and even helping us with our luggage. There's also a very cute and friendly corgi at the guesthouse that you can pet. The place was very clean too. Definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Lijiang!

What was a bit frustrating was the odor in the bathroom of the first-floor room. It wasn't strong, but it was quite noticeable, probably from sewage backing up in the summer. I hope the owner can improve that... The bed creaked constantly, making a lot of noise when I turned over. The special items I saw when booking, like fruit and flower cakes, didn't seem to be there, and I was too embarrassed to ask the owner... Anyway, the dog was really cute, and that was about it.

His hospitality and attentiveness immediately put me at ease, and throughout my stay, he went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. From recommending local attractions to arranging transportation, he was always there to assist me. The accommodations themselves were comfortable and well-appointed. My room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every aspect. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the rooftop, the panoramic view of the mountains was truly mesmerizing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Lijiang. In addition to the stellar accommodations, the hotel's location was also ideal. Situated in a quaint and charming neighborhood, it was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and attractions. I appreciated being able to immerse myself in the local culture and explore the bustling streets of Lijiang. Overall, my experience at this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the stunning views to the impeccable service, every aspect of my stay was truly exceptional. After navigating the cobblestone streets of Lijiang Old Town with my luggage for what felt like ages, I finally spotted the wooden sign for Anyun Tianxin Inn at a corner, and was immediately warmed by the sheepskin lantern hanging above the doorway. A steaming cup of Pu'er tea was offered upon arrival, and they mentioned freshly baked flower cakes were in a bamboo basket, encouraging us to have some to tide us over. Our second-floor view room faced Sifang Street directly. In the evening, sitting on the rattan chair on the terrace, we watched Naxi grannies walk by with their bamboo baskets, as the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain shimmered faintly in the twilight. The air itself was fragrant with a mix of osmanthus and woody scents. Woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of rain, I pushed open the window to find water accumulated in the stone vat under the eaves, reflecting a sky full of stars. This, I thought, must be the ancient town's most tranquil charm.

This was my first time in Yunnan, and my experience in Lijiang was made truly memorable thanks to this charming, family-run boutique hotel. I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight sleeper train from Kunming. Check-in was officially after 2 p.m., so I simply intended to leave my luggage and freshen up before exploring the area. To my pleasant surprise, I was warmly welcomed by Chun Kai, the owner’s son, who was managing the front desk that morning. Upon learning that I had an overnight journey, he kindly offered to let me check in early if a room became available. Within 15 minutes, a freshly cleaned room was ready for me, and I was like wowww and really appreciated it. Throughout my three-night stay, Chun Kai continued to be extremely helpful. Despite having to return to his hometown for his grandmother’s birthday, he was very responsive to all my inquiries about local food, attractions and tips through WeChat. The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a water heater and an air-conditioner that doubled as a heater. For the price I paid, the room offered excellent value. In terms of location, the hotel is not situated within Lijiang Ancient City, but that turned out to be an advantage. The surrounding neighborhood is quieter and more affordable, with a wide variety of local eateries and two major supermarkets nearby, i.e. Likelong Supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and Walmart is just a bit farther. Above all, it was the kindness and genuine hospitality that left a lasting impression. I found it difficult to leave, despite my short stay. If I return to Lijiang, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list. P/S: The Google Maps address currently appears to be inaccurate. I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the correct location—entry is via the West Gate.

Family of 6 – From Malaysia First of all, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay here because there weren’t many reviews yet. But I decided to take a chance, and it turned out to be the best decision ever! I’m so grateful to be staying here. The place is very close to the gate, making it easy to get a taxi or Didi. It’s within walking distance to the ancient town, and halal/Muslim food is just nearby! There are many shops around, and everything is very convenient. Plus, it’s affordable! The rooms have heaters and blanket heaters, and the hot water works great. The Wi-Fi is fast, too. But what I think is most important are the incredibly kind and helpful owner and her friend. They are extremely supportive and solved all my problems. They also reply to my messages quickly! I booked something online, and they helped me receive the package. They also assisted with my logistics, which was so helpful for me as a mother of four. It can be tiring to think about everything at once, but they made it so much easier. I’m overwhelmed by how caring and generous these two ladies are. 🥹🥹🥹 They also arranged our trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and we had a private tour just for our family. We were driven in a luxury car, which was very comfortable for us. This is my daughter’s first time in China, and she has fallen in love with the Chinese people because they are so friendly and kind. We feel very safe staying here. I highly recommend this place! Just ask the owner if you need anything—they will help you with whatever they can. I hope I can repay your kindness in some way.
