"This was the most surprising and also the cheapest hotel of my Qinghai-Gansu trip. I originally planned to stay in Zhangye, but I was so tired from traveling all day that I just wanted to find a place near the sights and rest immediately after exploring. The pictures online looked decent, but the room was unexpectedly spacious! What really impressed me was the amazing service from the owner and his wife! This was the best night's sleep I had on the entire trip! This positive review is specifically for the owner and his wife."

"This guesthouse has a fantastic location, perfect for those who prefer a quiet environment. The detached house is surrounded by orchards and is very close to the west gate of the Rainbow Mountains. The owner was incredibly kind and even gave us a gift bag with lots of apricots from their own orchard – they were delicious! The guesthouse is very clean and well-equipped. The view from the window is of Danxia Mountain, and you can even see the stars from the rooftop. There's also an elevator on the third floor! 👍 We had a very comfortable stay and the whole family gave it a rave review – highly recommended!"

"Extremely satisfied. The environment was pleasant and clean, with carpeted hallways to minimize noise. The rooms were well-insulated, and the front desk staff provided excellent service, proactively offering the Wi-Fi password upon check-in without needing to ask.
The bathroom provided extra-large disposable face towels, about the same size as regular long towels, perfect for drying short hair. Disposable toilet seat covers were also provided, a huge bonus.
The room had ample power outlets, more than enough to charge a laptop, tablet, and phone simultaneously.
There's a restaurant in the parking area, convenient for breakfast; I had the beef noodles, which were delicious.
Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations; very satisfied."

"I spent one night at this hotel and was absolutely thrilled. The location is unbeatable: the north gate of the Danxia Scenic Spot is only about a 10-minute walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and small supermarkets in the immediate vicinity, all within easy walking distance.
The hotel itself is very modern, well-maintained, and clean. My room was a real highlight – very spacious, stylishly furnished, and equipped with a huge shower. It offered many amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially enjoyed the view of the mountains from my window!
A big thank you to the staff as well: everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Anyone planning a visit to the Danxia Scenic Spot will find the perfect accommodation here. I would definitely stay here again!"

"I chose a spacious, clean, comfortable room. I could have had my bike nearby. The only drawbacks were the poor Wi-Fi quality, which was almost nonexistent even when the router was on under the bed. It lost the signal and kept disconnecting.
The views were beautiful, the location was nice.
The service was a four out of ten. They could have explained where the entrance was, which is what I needed. A little more information didn't wait for us to ask.
There's a curtain in the bathroom because the glass on the outside was broken. A little maintenance wouldn't hurt.
Water leak under the sink.
But everything else is perfect."

Guest UserParking is convenient; it's about a 20-minute walk from the guesthouse to the entrance of the Rainbow Mountains scenic area. There are many restaurants nearby, but most are expensive and lack any special features. Breakfast is included, but it's in another hotel, so you need to walk a bit, though the food is decent. The guesthouse rooms have a rather unique feature: a cobblestone path right outside the entrance. I guess they wanted to create a distinctive atmosphere, but it's easy to slip and fall when exiting the toilet or shower at night. The owner should probably reconsider, haha.

The hotel is very close to the north gate of the scenic area, and the night market is right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel receptionists were very helpful, patient, and considerate. They even drove us to the scenic area and took us there to make sure we couldn't find the ticket booth. The hotel rooms were very spacious, clean, and odor-free. The owner also gave us some local specialty drinks. There's a free car wash available at the hotel entrance, and the owner thoughtfully provided pre-wash solution, which was perfect since cars get really dirty after driving around. The hotel was also very quiet at night. The hotel also recommended many local snacks to us, making for a very pleasant stay.

I randomly chose a hotel, but I was very satisfied. After returning home, I reminisced about my time on the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, and unexpectedly, this hotel was the first thing that popped into my mind. It was already quite late when I arrived at the hotel, and I was hungry. Surprisingly, there was a restaurant downstairs. While eating, I sat opposite an elderly couple who had immigrated from Canada, next to a family of four from Beijing, and two brothers (one of whom couldn't drive). I listened to them share their experiences and insights. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but now, looking back, it really was a case of ”at the time, it all seemed so ordinary.”

Guest UserFive stars out of five for Yuyao Hotel! It's very close to the Rainbow Mountains scenic area, making transportation and parking incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean, tidy, and odor-free, with comfortable and quiet bedding. Even with the off-season and such low prices, the bedding was freshly changed, showing the owner's dedication. The facilities, though simple, are very practical and cater to the needs of ordinary travelers. The owner is single-handedly running the hotel, and is incredibly honest and welcoming. Check-in was quick, and even though he had a sprained ankle, he helped us with our luggage – these thoughtful details were truly touching. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended for anyone visiting the Rainbow Mountains. I'll definitely stay here again!

The entrance hall of this hotel is spacious and bright. The surrounding environment is good and the air is good. The boss has a good service attitude. The room is clean and hygienic and has no odor. The staff are friendly and responsive, and it's very quiet, perfect for a good rest. There are lots of restaurants nearby, so you have plenty of choices. They even offer self-service car washing facilities, which is a really thoughtful touch! Big thumbs up! 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻

The hotel facilities. The sanitation and environment are absolutely top-notch, and my evaluation is full.
It should be said that the large number of vehicles parked in front of the check-in door (see photo) is enough to indicate that the hotel is popular with tourists.
In addition to the room is slightly smaller, but the decoration and facilities in the room are absolutely ”avant-garde”, especially the advanced, novel and practical bath sanitary ware.
The room is very clean, the bedding is clean and tidy, the living is safe and comfortable to use.
Only the ”service” did not score full marks, mainly breakfast outsourcing, need to go to the hotel tens of meters to eat, obviously inconvenient.
The hotel is well worth the tourists.

I could smell the aroma of food coming out of the kitchen as soon as I arrived. Unfortunately, I didn't get to eat it this time. The navigation for Qicai Danxia seems a bit far, but it's actually quite close. You can cross the street at any entrance. The facilities are very complete. The wardrobe is super large and can fit a lot of luggage! 🧳! The room is really big and luxurious. The boss and the lady boss are very welcoming~~ Our breakfast was 10 yuan per person and it was delicious and unlimited! ~ The boss and the lady boss even gave us fruits and vegetables grown in their garden~~/:heart 😍 Love it, highly recommended

The room is quite big and looks similar to the picture. It's fine for just one night. The shower doesn't drain well and it gets clogged. I can't find any staff to help me at night. It is very close to the Colorful Danxia Scenic Area and there are restaurants nearby, which is more convenient.
