"Staying for one night during a long weekend for $1,800 is indeed a pretty good deal for a business hotel. This time I stayed in room 208. The main pros are that it's clean and the shower head provides really hot water. But!!! The bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area (understandable, as shown in the picture). Even when I tried to squeeze into a 90-degree corner to shower, the drain couldn't cope at all. Water would accumulate significantly before finally draining into the hole under the sink. Luckily, the bath mat hadn't been put down yet, otherwise it would have been soaked. The sink counter is also very short, so water splashes out when you brush your teeth or wash your face, no matter how awkwardly you try to wash up. Next, the mini-fridge had a strong sour smell when opened. It looked clean inside, but the smell was like someone had left their late-night snack in there too long and it wasn't cleaned promptly – it was awful. Then there's the TV. It's great, with lots of new movie options, but the color temperature was completely off. Initially, I thought, with such high ratings and me getting a relatively good deal, maybe I shouldn't be too picky. Later, I realized that the high 'value for money' comments, mentioning cleanliness and tidiness, were based on others paying only $850/night (on weekdays). That pretty much explains the good reviews! Hygiene isn't an issue! But overall, the facilities are seriously subpar. That's all!"

"Subject: Feedback on Staff Assistance I wanted to take a moment to commend the late shift staff on the 14th. They were extremely helpful and attentive, addressing all my queries with a friendly demeanor. Similarly, the young lady on the day shift was also very welcoming and supportive. Initially, I was quite upset as I had to wait outside for someone to let me in. Given the intense heat and my struggle to drag my luggage from the train station, it was quite uncomfortable. I later learned that the receptionist had stepped away for a moment, which I understand. Despite the challenging conditions, the staff's positive attitude ultimately made my experience much more pleasant. Thank you for your assistance!"

"This hotel operates on a self-check-in basis with no on-site staff, but their responses via Line were incredibly fast, and they were able to assist with everything promptly. I was also able to leave my luggage after check-out (I was told until 3 PM, which worked perfectly for me). The room size wasn't small for one person and was generally clean. It's conveniently located near Shennong Street and the market. While they stated no amenities were provided, there was shampoo and a towel. Just a heads-up that there was no soap, toothbrush, or toothpaste, so bring your own if you need them."

"The family room was very spacious, but there was no trash can in the living room, so we ended up having to put our trash on the coffee table. The two bedrooms, however, did have trash cans. The bathroom was quite small and didn't have a separate shower, so the entire bathroom would get wet after showering. On the night we checked in, I tried to watch a football match on Mod, but it kept failing to connect. I messaged the official LINE account for help but received no response at all. I'm not sure if I was asking in the wrong place. Despite these minor issues, my overall stay was good, and I would consider staying here again if I have the chance."

"I stayed at Wow Hostel in Tainan and had a great experience. The location is super convenient—right near Tainan Station, so it’s easy to get around. The hostel is clean, modern, and has a really cozy vibe. The staff were friendly and gave helpful tips about local spots to visit. I stayed in a dorm room, and it was comfortable with privacy curtains, personal lights, and lockers. There’s a shared kitchen and lounge area that’s perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly place to stay in Tainan. I’d definitely come back!"

"The room was a bit small, but clean and tidy. There's a gym and self-service laundry facilities available. The staff were very polite, especially those working from noon to evening. A complimentary breakfast was provided; the selection wasn't extensive, but the taste was decent. The location is excellent, with Guohua Street nearby offering great shopping. Xiaobei and Poya are also close by, and there are many dining options with a wide variety of food choices. Great value for money!"

"The hotel is centrally located in Tainan, right next to Puji Temple. A Dandan Burger is just a 100-meter walk away, and there are plenty of great food options nearby. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Each floor has only two rooms served by the elevator. Upon checking in, I coincidentally encountered guests in the room opposite mine having a party. It was quite crowded and very loud. If the room across from yours is noisy, you can WhatsApp the host to let them know (this does suggest the soundproofing isn't the best). However, it naturally quieted down once everyone went to bed for the night. By the way, their shampoo smells amazing!"

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked into the room, I was impressed by the overall decor and the abundance of charging outlets. They even thoughtfully provided snacks and instant noodles, which was a lovely touch. We had a great time playing mahjong with friends in the evening. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! I'd definitely want to book this hotel again the next time I'm in Tainan, and I highly recommend it to everyone! 👏👏👏"
