"The hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket. The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in "downtown" kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a "putting green" off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town. Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip."

"This 'Art Home' is a perfect example of what 'art horror' truly means. The hallways are filled with abstract portraits, each face seemingly staring at you. Coupled with the pungent mix of moldy oil paint and artificial fragrance throughout the corridor, it was physically nauseating. And guess what? This stuff is in the room too! The room itself was a nightmare – live 'roommates' (cockroaches!) were there to greet us. The air conditioner blew directly onto our heads, guaranteeing a migraine package by morning. The most chilling part? We were the only guests on the entire floor. The dim, flickering hallway lights and echoing footsteps made walking down the corridor so eerie it sent shivers down my spine. No sane person would choose this place, we definitely made a mistake. We had planned for five days but decided to escape on the second! "They refused to refund us for three nights, even with a valid reason! The owner completely ignored us! Haha. Customer service? Sorry, it's non-existent! Absolutely no service! Advice: If you are a single woman/man or a family with children, cancel your reservation immediately. If you're not brave enough, you'll be having nightmares after staying here. Only one type of person would enjoy this place: brave souls who genuinely love 'urban exploration.' Otherwise, you'll not only be deeply disappointed but also question your life choices."

"I stayed here on a weekday and found it to be pretty good value for money. Although check-in isn't until 8 PM, a 12 PM check-out is still convenient. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but there's a Pxmart, Poya, and convenience store nearby, so you don't have to worry about not finding anything to eat. The room was spacious, but the bathtub had a lot of human residue. I didn't notice it at first when filling the tub, but then I looked closely and realized I could easily feel it just by touching it, which was a bit disgusting. Other than that, everything else was actually quite good."
