"Wonderful hotel! We arrived with a slight issue but the host helped us straight away. We are incredibly grateful. The room is super clean and modern. It has all the amenities you need and the beds are very comfortable. We slept very well. Food is available on site and is delicious. You can eat it sat on your balcony overlooking mountains and trees. Bliss. It is only 2km from the ticket office to the national park to see the snub nose monkeys too, very easy. Overall, this was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed during our trip around Yunnan. Highly recommend!"

"I had such a great stay in Tacheng, thanks to the hotel’s owner! When I planned my Yunnan trip and asked AI to help me (because of the lack of online information in English), and it recommended me to go to Tacheng to see the snub-nosed monkeys, little did I know that nothing could be done there without a car. Fellow travelers, just so you know: there are no bus stations nor taxis in Tacheng. I of course only realized it once I arrived. I felt dumb (no I do not have a car nor a driver), but the hotel’s owner was super kind and gave my friend and I free roundtrip rides, to the hotel and in the early morning to the Snub-nosed Monkey Park (that is closeby). Because the closest restaurant was 42 km away, we were given a generous and delicious dinner. (It was supposed to be 50 rmb but at the end the boss made it free.) I’m vegetarian and the boss accommodated me. The breakfast, that was included in the price, was also generous and delicious. As for the hotel, it was beautiful and comfortable. There’s a really nice living room (we were given free fruits and free beer!) and a really nice patio as well. The room was clean, the pillows were so soft and the shower was surprisingly techno. I slept very well, even though a rooster started to crow in the early morning (so remember to close the window before going to sleep). In the evening, we walked in the surroundings and I liked it so much, it was picturesque and peaceful. My stay in Tacheng could’ve been a nightmare but thanks to the hotel’s owner, I really enjoyed it (and I got to see the famous snub-nosed monkeys!) So I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, where I didn’t expect so much kindness and generosity."

"It is really a very good homestay. The room is spacious, bright and clean. You can see a whole green mountain outside the window in the room. The green is very eye-catching. The boss and the proprietress are simple, warm and generous. Because of some personal reasons, you need to check out early. After discussing with the proprietress, She agreed without saying anything. So if you want to see the Golden Monkey and Damo Zushi Temple, it is recommended to stay at their homestay. There is really no need to live in those very expensive hotels. This is very cost-effective!"

"The guesthouse is located in Tacheng, making it convenient for watching golden monkeys. The overall environment of the guesthouse is nice, the rooms are quite large, and the owner had arranged fresh flowers. There's a small balcony, and the owner was very welcoming. The breakfast was also quite plentiful. The only drawback was that the bedding wasn't very clean. When I lifted the covers, I saw long hairs and some black bits of dirt, which would be very unpleasant for someone with a strong aversion to germs. I hope they can improve their hygiene standards."

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff also helped arrange a driver to take me to the Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park. I am so grateful for their help!"

"The hotel is in the center of the county. It is very convenient to go shopping. There are many rose flowers on both sides of the street. The flowers have a large bowl and are very beautiful. The room is very new and clean, and there are water heating blankets. Unfortunately, it is not cold and useless. It is recommended.
