"The staff was very lovely and helpful, even without speaking English. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had access to an (old but functioning) washing machine, which was very helpful. The location is great, right inside the Muslim Quarter but in a quieter area. It’s still convenient, with about a 5-minute walk to reach a Didi or the metro. However, both rooms we saw faced a light well rather than having an actual view. The main difference was the floor level, the room on the 2nd floor was significantly darker than the one we moved to, despite looking similar in the photos online. We would have been quite disappointed if we hadn’t been able to change rooms. Thankfully, the staff accommodated our request, which made the stay much more comfortable. It might be worth clarifying this in the listing to better manage expectations."

"My first time trying this place, and I thought it was great! I booked the cheapest room, which I think was a 16-person dorm, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a 12-person one. I even extended my stay for another night. The environment inside is quite peaceful. Everyone in the common areas is pretty respectful, except for a few loud shouts during billiards sometimes! Oh, and there were a lot of foreigners, couples mostly, chatting among themselves – it had a nice vibe. Since it was my first time, I wasn't familiar with everything and didn't prepare toiletries. When I went to shower, I even saw two guys coming out of the same stall, which honestly stunned me a bit. However, the privacy in the restrooms and shower rooms is excellent; they're all enclosed. The hot water comes on quickly, the water pressure is strong, and everything is clean. Everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. I mostly kept to myself, though, and didn't really interact with anyone. At one point, a foreigner asked me in English if he could use a stool. I honestly didn't understand anything he said, but I got his meaning and just waved my hand. He must have thought I was refusing him because he started to leave. I was so flustered I couldn't speak, just waving my hands around like fans, trying to convey my meaning. He must have seen my panic and understood, so he moved the stool. Only then could I relax and continue drinking my hot water alone. (I saw the front desk staff, both a guy and a lady, speaking English with the foreigners, and I was so envious! Ugh, I can only read English; I can't understand or speak it. I really need to practice my listening and speaking skills. I'll try my luck again next time.) Overall, I think it's a pretty good place. Oh, and its location is fantastic, right by the Bell Tower. But make sure you exit the correct subway station, or else a directionally challenged person like me will spend almost an hour wandering around trying to find it!"

"The apartment's location is excellent, right next to Yongningmen subway station, very close to both the subway and bus stops, making travel incredibly convenient. The room is clean, tidy, and spacious, just like in the promotional pictures. All toiletries are provided, and there's a wardrobe with hangers for clothes. It also features a kitchen and dining area, a small fridge, and a washing machine, among other amenities. Supplies are replenished daily. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, contacting us in advance with directions to the apartment and even giving us detailed travel tips. We could reach out directly with any questions or needs, and responses were very prompt. Overall, the stay was fantastic, offering great value for money. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, within walking distance of the Tang Dynasty Never Sleeping City! The room was clean and tidy with no unpleasant odors, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete and functioning perfectly. The front desk service was warm and efficient, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Excellent value for money; I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"Very close to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter, just a 10-15 minute walk away. It's super convenient, only about 200 meters from Exit H of Bell Tower Metro Station. The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. They offer luggage storage and can even help with sending/receiving packages."

"Great value stay in a prime location! I had a wonderful 5-night stay at the Pod Inn Yanxuan Hotel as a solo traveler. The location is fantastic for exploring Xi'an, being so close to the Yongningmen Metro Station and the City Wall. It made getting around the city incredibly easy, and there are tons of great food options nearby . The room was consistently clean and well-maintained, and the daily housekeeping service was a nice touch . The staff were friendly and patient, always ready to help with a smile. For the price, the service and convenience are hard to beat, making it a perfect base for any traveler."

"I loved the localization of this hostel. It's inside of the Muslim quarter, so you get the full street food experience and there's a lot to see. I feel like the Muslim quarter was the most lively place in the city, and there's always a reason for it: people like me love it! The rooms were very clean and tidy, I liked that there where places for you to but your stuff in the bed space, it felt cozy. The air conditioner worked well, but turned off after some time, which was not super nice. The bathrooms were kind of dirty, with lots of hair in the ground. I get that people shower in the bathroom, but I noticed that even after cleaning staff had just cleaned, there was still hair, and the bathroom was super wet, making it difficult to use. The staff didn't speak english at all, but used translation devices when necessary, which is ok. Overall, it was a good stay and I would do it again, but there could be more attention regarding toilet cleaning."

The hotel boasts a superb location, just a 1-minute walk from Bell Tower subway station. The Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter are all within easy reach. Service is warm and attentive, truly reflecting the simple kindness characteristic of Shaanxi people. The environment is lovely and very new, perfect for unwinding after a long day – very therapeutic. Cleanliness is top-notch, neat, and elegant."
