"This was an ok hostel stay. I would have rated 5/5 had it not been for 3 things:
1. Had to rent towels
2. Smoking right outside the door, which meant the reception/common area reeked of smoke whenever someone was smoking.
3. Flies were buzzing around at breakfast time."

"The hotel was comfortable enough for daily life, with a kitchen (with stove, cutlery, microwave, etc.), washing machine, and hair dryer. I tried to find a laundry service in Egypt but it was expensive, so I was glad to be able to do my laundry here (although there was no drying function). The shower water pressure and temperature were also good (although there was no hot water for a while in the morning). There were many souvenir shops and restaurants within walking distance, so it was convenient. I recommend using the metro or taxi to get to Khan Khalili and shopping malls. The reception staff were also friendly."

"The best hostel in Cairo ever! The only little problem is no AC, but considering most guests will not stay in the room daytime, I is not a big deal. The owners are super nice and friendly, you will definitely find it like a home to you. BTW cute cats might ask for your food.đ»đ»"

"Excellent location near Tahrir Square / Egyptian Museum and Sadat Metro Station. Staff were excellent in particular the manager Mr Ahmed receptionist Alaa and house keeping Azze. Breakfast was good. 7 floors reception and communal lounge on top floor. Whilst we were there I was admitted to hospital they checked up on me daily via my wife and friend who was also staying at the hotel. Warm welcome back when I recovered.

"Overall, the air conditioner was cold and the room was a bit small. Prosperous location, safe and worry-free. On the sixth floor of an old building, there is an elevator to go up, there are many small shops nearby downstairs, and there is an ATM opposite. There is a roast ** nearby very hot"

"The shower was also hot water and A / C was also attached, and it was very comfortable as a cheap dormitory.
It was not a two-stage bed, but a single, and it was well selected and there was no insect.
There was a drink shop in front of the hotel.
Needless to say, the biggest experience would be an elevator."

"I had an acceptable stay at the Montana Hotel in Cairo. The overall experience was average, especially considering the price point. The service was friendly and helpfulâstaff were polite and responsive, always willing to assist with any requests.
The facilities were basic need to keep an eye on cleaning and functionality of WiFi. The room was tidy and had the essentials, though not particularly luxurious. Itâs a good choice for travelers looking for a simple place to stay in a convenient location.
As for the food, it was averageâbreakfast with a small variety of local and continental options. Itâs probably not the hotelâs highlight, but it does the job if youâre not expecting gourmet meals.
Overall, itâs a budget-friendly option in Cairo with decent service. Great for short stays or if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city."

MM31216****I stayed in Egypt for a week by myself, so I didn't book a five-star hotel. From a 100-pound Airbnb to a 700-pound hotel, only this one and the 700-pound hotel had working air conditioning/heating, and the room cleanliness was among the top two đ„.
The downside is that this is more like renting out a private residence (the owner lives there too), and the apartment building and surrounding environment are quite poor, so you'll have to weigh the value for money yourself. For solo female travelers, I'd definitely recommend a hotel instead.
Also, I have to complain about the menu pricing. The same bottle of water costs 6 EGP (less than 1 RMB) at the downstairs supermarket. It's typical of places that charge domestic hotel prices without providing domestic hotel service quality.
MMaomaojiaolaifuThe location is convenient for getting around, and the front desk staff, especially one guy, was incredibly patient even with the language barrier. My only concern was the elevator; it felt a bit unsafe, like it might start moving before you're fully inside. Other than that, it was a good stay overall.
GGuest UserIt was clean, and location was not bad, and cheapest in new Cairo. the only probrem is that it was hard to cheack in. I would say they should contact customer one or few days before at least.
GGuest UserThe room is large, the boss is very welcoming, and the breakfast is very Chinese-friendly. You can overlook the city of Cairo from the rooftop. I plan to stay here next time I come to Cairo. It is very close to the museum, the Hanging Church and Saladin's Castle.
GGuest UserOur experience was GREAT. It is ranked as a hostel but it felt like a hotel. Private room was spacious with bed, sofa, wardrobe and private bathroom. Very clean. And the staff was beyond kind, a young team running the place both profesional and close. A special thanks to Wafaa, Asmaa and Ala - they made our trip to Cairo very special and if we return, it will be to the same place
GGuest UserThe hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum,
The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean.
The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly
I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them
** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn.
Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine
In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice
BBorisThe hotel itself is basic. The room and other areas need a little work, but for the price that you pay, itâs worth it. And anyway, you just sleep there.
What impressed me was the staff. I donât have words how amazing the staff there is. I arrived with a toothache and they helped me schedule an appointment and I even got a discount. Every tour I wanted to do , they arranged it for me. The prices were affordable. Thanks to the staff, my before #1 ranked trip just got dethroned by this one. Very thankful to Kimo, Dr. Ahmed and Carlos for taking amazing care of me. Thank you for everything.
GGuest UserWhen we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign âEl otelâ, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.
