Find 2-Star Hotels in Cairo

"I cannot recommend staying at Cairo Paradise Hotel enough. We came on quite a spontaneous trip where we had not planned each day beforehand, we booked a hotel that felt good to us, in a good location and decided that we would ask for recommendations once there. We were welcomed extremely warmly by Ahmad, and had a big and beautiful room. From the first day, we were given so much advice based on our budget and interests: Amr gave us his experience and offered us to plan our days to make the most out of our time: we did not just visit many locations, we also had guides and did things in a certain order and at every hour. These made it into a very very busy and fun adventure! Apart from travel help, everyone was very generous at the hotel, we were offered tea, coffee and Egyptian food to try, and got a taxi ride to the airport to go back. They always made sure we were safe and had any question answered. I felt so welcomed to Egypt and Cairo and I hope to go back and see them again😄 Thank you to Ahmad, Amr and everyone else! One piece of advice: sometimes on iPhone maps when you write the hotel name it can get a little mixed up, make sure when you see the destination it is on Sherif Pasha Street but also: in between 26th July Street and Adly Street. The hotel is also opposite a cake shop called El Abd Patisserie. Celeste :)"

"Maybe because there were not many people staying, we were upgraded to a triple room. The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance to the National Museum. There is a small supermarket downstairs and many restaurants around. However, since it is not on the first floor, you have to go inside the building when you first go there, remember to pay attention to the signs on the wall. There is a mosque next to it, and the breakfast is okay. After all, the price is here, it is a relatively cost-effective hotel."

"The shower was also hot water and A / C was also attached, and it was very comfortable as a cheap dormitory. It was not a two-stage bed, but a single, and it was well selected and there was no insect. There was a drink shop in front of the hotel. "Excellent location near Tahrir Square / Egyptian Museum and Sadat Metro Station. Staff were excellent in particular the manager Mr Ahmed receptionist Alaa and house keeping Azze. Breakfast was good. 7 floors reception and communal lounge on top floor. Whilst we were there I was admitted to hospital they checked up on me daily via my wife and friend who was also staying at the hotel. Warm welcome back when I recovered. About 20 to 30 minute car journey to GEM and the Giza Plateau / Pyramids and Sphinx. About 45 minutes to an hour drive to both Sphinx and Cairo Airports"

"The room is OK, this price can not ask too much, the location is good, just next to the Cairo Museum, there is a small supermarket next to it, but you need to take a taxi to the pyramid, go to the left, go to the largest shopping mall also need to take a taxi, go to the right, the cost is about 30 yuan, I went to the attractions the first day and took a taxi back and forth to the mall for 1 day on the third day. If you want to save money, you can live here, of course you can also choose a better hotel next to it."

"I had an acceptable stay at the Montana Hotel in Cairo. The overall experience was average, especially considering the price point. The service was friendly and helpful—staff were polite and responsive, always willing to assist with any requests. The facilities were basic need to keep an eye on cleaning and functionality of WiFi. The room was tidy and had the essentials, though not particularly luxurious. It’s a good choice for travelers looking for a simple place to stay in a convenient location. As for the food, it was average—breakfast with a small variety of local and continental options. It’s probably not the hotel’s highlight, but it does the job if you’re not expecting gourmet meals. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option in Cairo with decent service. Great for short stays or if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city."

"I stayed with my family at this hotel, but they left a little earlier than me. My friend wanted to stay there so that we can go out late , come back to the hotel and he would be able to take me to that airport the next day but the hotel rejected him because he is from Ciaro. I tried to apply for a refund but was rejected. I would like to withdraw the previous review, which was written under peer pressure on the( 2nd day) from one of the hotel staff members named : Hindu. The hotel was fine, but some things weren't for 1) discrimination against guests. 2) denying a refund 3) things went missing from the hotel room 4) the shower wasn't always working well 5) the carpet was very damp when I first arrived 5) my other family members had problems with the restroom, dirty water was coming up 6) my aircon wasnt working, i asked several times for help but to no avail 7) the keys were moved from one reception to another without informing guests. 8) pushy staff members are always asking for us to write reviews ( not all the staff members were like this. They were kind, helpful and present) 9) the hotel offers airport transfer but it's really expensive. Uber is much cheaper. * I wouldn't have written, I would've let it just go but but since the hotel refuses to give a refund, I think it's only fair that other know what my REAL experience was like ."

"Friendly staff You have to use a public toilet but it's ok I drank strawberry juice as a welcome drink and it was delicious, especially the afternoon staff was friendly. I checked out and left my luggage and went to find it."

"Cecilia Hotel is located at the center of everything. Visitors don't travel long distances to find Restaurants and Shops. And the hotel staff is always available if you need any help🙂"

"Located in the center of Cairo and relatively close to the station, I think it is suitable for sightseeing stays. However, the hotel building itself was aging, so there was no water or electricity. In addition, each room was also old, and there were problems such as leaking water in the shower, wet floor in the room, and not stopping water in the toilet. After that, I felt honestly uncomfortable because the hotel employees were rude and did not try to give change or persistently demanded tips. For those who don't care about this at all, I felt that it was a recommended hotel in a sense."
